THE HIGHLANDER - weakened final bend. Driver N Munro advised he did not activate the hopple shorteners due to the gelding pacing roughly.
EVIDENTLY - weakened from the 500m.
JAZZY STYX - over-raced middle stages. Driver M House advised he did not activate the removeable deafeners due to the chord being entangled.
KATHERINE - driver C Negus was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.

TIPSTAR - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.

Race 3   BOOK ''UNDER THE MISTLETOE'' AT ADDINGTON 13 DEC TROT
BLUEY - broke near the 300m checking a trailing runner and raced inside track markers before settling. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be driven out. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation and had not gained an advantage by racing inside track markers.
PERFECT CALL - checked by a breaking runner near the 300m and broke losing all chance.
NATIVES BLAZIN SON - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
KERRALLY - broke near the 600m losing all chance.
ROSE ISLE - slow to begin.
HOOFN IT - hampered by a breaking runner in the early stages losing ground.

GIMMESOMELOVIN - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home. Driver K Cameron advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.

COSMIC STAR - weakened leaving the final bend.
HEAVEN FORBID - fractious prior to the start and required assistance from a Starting Attendant. Hung in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Cameron. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Held up throughout the run home.
Race 5   BOOK ''BACK ON TRACK'' TRACKSIDE DINING 24 & 31 JAN MOB PACE
SPIRITED LOU - hung inwards and paced roughly rounding the final bend.
CHANGEFORTHEBETA - broke after 150m checking and hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
VERLANDER - checked by a breaking runner after 150m. Raced wide early. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination at the request of the connections revealed a slow recovery and signs of inflammation in the airway. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MAJOR PERFORMER - trainer T Yesberg advised the mare has had a knee treated since last racing. Hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
CAPTAIN KOBE - checked by a breaking runner after 100m. Raced wide early. Driver G Sugars was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Sugars advised the gelding had raced lethargically and he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
AUNTIE DEB - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
MY TEN GUITARS - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up early in the run home.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - held up until late in the run home.
DON'T TELL JENNY - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver R Houghton advised the filly had been racing without luck and had appreciated the solid tempo of today's race and had been able to capitalise on an economical run.
Co- trainer T White advised Stewards on 9 December that subsequent to the race meeting whilst continuing with its preparation VERLANDER bled. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 6   LIVAMOL TROT
MILES AWAY - slow to begin. When questioned regarding the performance driver R May advised the gelding had been trotting roughly and had been unable to make ground from the rear of the field.
SHANDON BELLS - raced wide early. Held up early in the run home.
MAXWELL EDISON - fractious prior to the start and was back from position at the start. Crowded by an outside runner in the early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Close advised the gelding had got too far back in the running after a slow beginning and had been unable to make up ground.
GINAS MAJESTY - began awkwardly crowding an inside runner. Lay inwards near the 1100m striking track markers.
TAKE AFTER ME - raced wide early. Broke passing the 1500m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
GRANNY ROSE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer M Williamson advised the gelding had benefited from a drop back in grade and an economical run.
OPAWA PEAK - broke after 100m losing all chance.
SILVERLININGS - raced wide early. Broke in the run home losing all chance.
LIVING THE MOMENT - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Held up middle stages of the run home.
Race 7   HYDROFLOW PACE
ONELOVEONELIFE - lay inwards striking a track marker passing the 1500m. Weakened final bend.
GLIDING HIGH - began awkwardly.
HE'S A JACKALACK - weakened from the 600m hampering trailing runners. Struck several track markers rounding the final bend. Driver S Thornley was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Thornley advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
RUBY'S A DELIGHT - broke at the start losing ground. Held up early in the run home.
ULTIMATE COUNSEL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Held up passing the 300m. Driver L O'Reilly was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
ZIA BROMAC - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
INTERPOL - struck the sulky wheel of GLIDING HIGH near the 350m and briefly paced roughly. Driver S Ottley was issued a warning. In taking this course of action Stewards were satisfied there had been no consequential effects as a result.
MASTERLOU - raced wide early.
LORD MUDRICK - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Stable representative S Thornley advised Stewards on 6 December HE'S A JACKALACK has been treated for a virus since last racing.
Race 8   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
EXECUTIVE BANNER - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Houghton. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. The near hind bandage came adrift during the running. Trainer R Houghton was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix the bandage so as not to come adrift.
BUDDY REIGN - held up early in the run home.
FAST ACE - driver R Cameron admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Cameron's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 13 December 2024 (2 days).
KING ARTHUR - briefly crowded late in the run home when runners either side shifted ground marginally.
SIR MONTY - struck the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver R Harrison was issued a warning. Miss Harrison was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after she failed to activate the hopple shorteners. Miss Harrison will also be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner in which she drove in the run home.
MILLIES SENSATION - driver R Holmes advised he sustained a punctured sulky tyre early in the run home.
MILLWOOD GODDESS - raced wide early.
TIMBIMBOO - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and throughout the run home. Driver R Close advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
SOPHIA BROMAC - driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
