Race 1   AMERICAN IDEAL 'THE LEGACY LIVES ON FOREVER' MOBILE PACE
RAKADEAKS - paced roughly late in the run home.
PACIFIC ARC - driver O Kite reported he was disappointed with the gelding's effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate. Trainer N Williamson reported he will have blood tests conducted on the gelding which Stewards will follow up.
BUBBLE ME - broke briefly in the score up however was in position at the start. Raced wide early. Lay in rounding the final bend and lay out over the concluding stages.
Trainer N Williamson advised Stewards on 27 November that blood tests conducted on PACIFIC ARC did not reveal any abnormality and it was his intention to send the gelding for a freshen up. Mr Williamson further advised on 5 December that the gelding has been treated for an infection.
Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD 'COMMITTED TO NZ BREEDERS' TROT
MODE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Lay inwards rounding the final bend contacting track markers. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer B Mowbray.
AROHA - began awkwardly.
PHISHING - lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 1300m. Lay in again on the bend near the 500m before breaking when weakening near the 350m. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
HENNESSY - trotted roughly when weakening rounding the final bend.
SUPERFAST RONNIE - raced wide early. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
IRISH SUN - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 3   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE 'MAKING A SPLASH' MOBILE PACE
BREENY'S ROCK N ROLL - weakened rounding the final bend hampering trailing runners.
HAZER - attempted to shift off the back of a weakening runner leaving the back straight and trailed the sulky wheel for a distance which resulted in a trailing runner being placed in restricted room near the 500m. Driver B Williamson was warned for half carting. Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend and then hung outwards in the run home with Mr Williamson confirming when questioned that he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - raced wide early.
FRIENDLY EYRE - trainer N Chalmers was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding to race with the incorrect colours. Had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the run home.
PARADISE VALLEY - held up final bend.
MAGIC SIGN - forced to race four wide near the 600m.
ARTMORE - placed in restricted room near the 500m having to be steadied. Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
JENNY GUMP - held up early in the run home.
AIRWAVES - contacted several track markers when placed in restricted room near the 500m. Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
ASTA - raced three wide from the 1300m.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD 'SUPPORTS FILLIES & MARES' MOBILE PACE
FABRICATE - weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow with connections in the coming days.
NO PERFECT PRINCESS - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1200m. Weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
FIRST LIGHT - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1200m.
ALWAYS TICKING - attempted to pull up when leading near the 1200m resulting in an easing of the pace hampering trailing runners.
Co-trainer C Graham advised Stewards on 26 November that FABRICATE had recovered well and would be sent for a freshen up prior to racing next.
Race 5   LATHER UP 'LEAVING JUVENILE SPEED IN HIS PROGENY MOBILE PACE
BETTER BE QUICK - broke late in the score up hampering an outside runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
RASPALIA - hampered by a breaking runner late in the score up and was sightly out of position at the start. Hung inwards and paced roughly near the 500m having to be steadied.
ALWAYS DREAMING - driver C Ferguson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 6   BETTOR'S DELIGHT 'THE GREATEST SIRE OF OUR TIME' MOBILE PACE
ANGUS FINN - held up rounding the final bend.
HAROLD HANOVER - paced roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Slow through the early stages.
Race 7   WHAT THE HILL 'NATURE & ABILITY LOOK NO FURTHER' HCP TROT
TOP POCKET CHANCE - weakened rounding the final bend.
STYRAX - broke at the start losing all chance and was retired from the event.
BURNING LOVE - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground. Broke again passing the 500m losing all chance. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
MOMENT OF WHAT - driver C Ferguson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 8   SWEET LOU 'DOMINATING IN ALL HEMISPHERES' MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when ROBYNS HUSTLER broke in the score up checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver M Hill elected to remain in his allotted barrier position for the restart.
SPORTY CHARLIE - weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
NO ADDED SUGAR - hung inwards rounding the final bend and struck track markers resulting in the trailing ROBYNS HUSTLER also striking track markers.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - over-raced when wide in the early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the run home with driver M Hurrell reporting he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
REMISSION - raced wide early.
THE WULVER - held up final bend and early in the run home.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - over-raced middle stages.
CAPTAIN STARLIGHT - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the run home.
Race 9   WOODLANDS STUD THANKS SOUTHERN BREEDERS MOBILE PACE
SMART I AM - late scratching on veterinary advice at 10.32am. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD - shifted inwards near the 150m placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver B Orange was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - over-raced middle stages when leading. Weakened early in the run home and was then placed in restricted room near the 150m.
BEACH DAY - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Placed in restricted room near the 150m and raced over track markers.
SOUTH SEAS ROCK - raced wide early.
MIRACULOUS - weakened rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Barclay advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate. Trainer N Williamson reported he will have blood tests conducted on the gelding which Stewards will follow up.
Trainer N Williamson advised Stewards on 27 November that blood tests conducted on MIRACULOUS did not reveal any abnormality and it was his intention to send the gelding for a freshen up. Mr Williamson further advised on 5 December that the gelding has been treated for an infection.
Connections advised Stewards that FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD was served on 3rd December.
