TOP POCKET CHANCE - fractious in the pre-race formation and ducked its head just prior to the tapes being released getting the overcheck caught around the end of the sulky shaft resulting in the gelding effectively taking no part in the event. Following the race authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards reviewed the footage of the start and acting under Rule 213(1)(e) declared TOP POCKET CHANCE a non-runner due to unsatisfactory manners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. | |
