Race 1   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE TROT
ILLICIT LOVE - lay in approaching the 1400m losing ground but soon recovered.
FINAL APPROACH - pulled hard in the score up.
RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE - weakened from the 600m and was retired from the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Co-Trainer D Ferguson advised that the gelding will be turned out for a spell.
Race 2   CHRISTMAS EVE AT THE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
BENJAMIN BUTTON - when questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer/Driver S Abernethy stated the gelding had been suited to receiving an economical run throughout.
TUGAWAR - raced wide early.
GOTTA GO MIKI - raced wide early and middle stages before crossing to the parked position near the 1400m.
AKATEA - lay in near the 950m and became awkwardly placed to the sulky of WHAT A MINX which was shifting ground outwards. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dickie stated the filly had failed to handle the turns.

Race 3   OFF THE TRACK FOOD & BEV: CHRISTMAS @ YOURS MOBILE PACE
MIDFREW LUCRE - pre-race warmed.
BARBAROSSA - held up briefly near the 70m.
SHONNY LOU - broke in the score up but was in position by the candy pole. Broke again just prior to dispatch losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 4   O'CONNOR WARREN INSURANCE HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed briefly due to the sulky on SONSOFTHEMERCH requiring replacement.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - broke entering the first turn losing considerable ground. Hampered briefly near the 350m.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - trotted roughly passing the 1200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a small laceration to the off fore which required treatment.
ITBETTERBENOW - broke near the 600m hampering a trailing runner and lost all chance.
MENTALIST - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Locked wheels with SONSOFTHEMERCH near the 350m when in restricted room losing all chance.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - broke near the 600m and galloped for some distance before locking wheels with MENTALIST, which was in restricted room, near the 350m losing all chance. As a result a trailing runner was briefly hampered.
SHESGOLD - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear.
RUN FOREST RUN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 600m. Lay in approaching the 250m contacting track markers and broke losing all chance.
Race 5   THAMES PACERS COUNTRY CUP HANDICAP PACE
ROCK BAND - over-raced down the back straight the final time. Paced roughly rounding the final turn.
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
LOUEZYANA - cast the near fore shoe during the preliminary with the remaining front shoe being removed. Broke passing the 200m.
HOORAY HENRY - broke at the start hampering other handicap runners and lost considerable ground.
FERNLEIGH CASH - hampered at the start. Hampered again when having to be steadied near the 1100m.
JOLIMONT - hampered at the start. Hampered again when having to be steadied near the 1100m. Driver J Stormont had difficulty activating the deafeners early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Stormont stated after getting too far back in the running from its 30m handicap the gelding had been unable to make up much ground with the fast closing sectionals.
Race 6   THAMES TROTTERS COUNTRY CUP HANDICAP TROT
ROMEO FOXTROT - broke at the start losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was briefly withheld until it was confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
FATHER BARRY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
JOCA'S HILL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
MONARCH HILL - underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request which revealed symptoms of a respiratory infection. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
RUBY RIDGE - over-raced middle stages.
LORD POPINJAY - broke for several strides at the start.
PANTANI - the near side mudguard worked loose over the early stages. Broke near the 1150m losing ground.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - lay out leaving the final turn.
KISS AND RUN - lay in rounding the turns.
Race 7   NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS 2025 MOBILE PACE
CUPIDS ARROW - broke in the score up and was well back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Weakened final turn.
FRANCO SALAH - held up over the final stages of the run home.
MAKORORI - pulled hard shortly after the start.
TUAREG - broke passing the 200m.
Race 8   JLN BUILDERS LTD MOBILE PACE
WATCH YOUR BACK - when questioned regarding the performance Driver S Abernethy stated that the gelding had received every opportunity.
Race 9   GAVELHOUSE.COM MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN HOKEY - commenced to shift ground down to the marker line approaching the 1400m but then broke when being shifted back into the running line after GIFTED BRIGADE improved to its inside and lost its chance.
CHAPEL GATE - commenced to weaken near the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
SPIRITED PEGGY - weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
GIFTED BRIGADE - Co-Trainers A & L Neal were warned for presenting the filly with removable deafeners which were not notified. Over-raced middle stages.

MURTLE THE TURTLE - Driver J Abernethy advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
NEW YORK HUSTLER - broke in the score up losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
Race 10   FRIDAY NIGHT STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE MOBILE TROT
JEWEL ELLERY - late scratching at 8.19am on veterinary advice.
HENRIK LUNDQVIST - pre-race warmed. Weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of a respiratory infection. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
SO MYSTIFYING - over-raced middle stages.
HELSINGOR - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
DRAGONSTONE - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
DREAMS PAT - Driver D Balle reported that he had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 11   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
BOOT SCOOTIN BOOGIE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Broke near the 850m checking a trailing runner and lost its chance. A warning was also placed on this runner's racing manners.
GLADYS GREENLAND - Driver F Phelan was warned for the manner in which he loose reined when driving the mare out in the home straight and also to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home in future.
JACCKA OPA - paced roughly rounding the first turn and entering the front straight. Checked by a breaking runner near the 850m losing ground.
SHEZA MERMAID - raced wide from the 1100m.
