SCOTT - pulled hard in the score up and early stages when being restrained to the rear. Hampered when having to be steadied passing the 1400m when there was an easing of the pace in the running line. Over-raced briefly middle stages when at the rear. | |

Obtained an inside run leaving the back straight the final time when forward runners shifted outwards but then raced over several track markers when placed in restricted room passing the 400m when outside runners shifted back down the track. JASINOVA - locked wheels with an outside runner for several strides near the 450m. Hampered by breaking runners near the 300m losing momentum. | |

The track was downgraded to slushy following this event after a heavy shower. Trainers were instructed to fit mudguards to their sulkies for the remainder of the programme. |

BETYOUCAN - back from position throughout the score up despite the efforts of Driver D Butcher. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. | |
THAT IS LOVE - paced roughly in the score up and over the early stages. Had to be steadied near the 1600m when there was a slight easing of the pace in the marker line. Over-raced briefly middle stages. When questioned Driver J Stormont confirmed that the filly had felt uneven in her gait over the early stages and he had recommended a gear change to connections. |

JACCKA OPA - pulled hard in the score up. Broke near the 1100m and again near the 900m before being retired from the event with a broken hopple. This gear was inspected and found to have been in good condition. |

ROCK ON JAZZ - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened near the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver T Mitchell stated that the gelding had hung throughout and that he was disappointed with the effort. | |
RUBY RIDGE - broke briefly at the start losing ground. | |
JOCA'S HILL - pre-race warmed. Broke briefly at the start losing ground. Weakened rounding the final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dickie stated that after racing outside the leader throughout the effort had taken its toll. | |
