BELMONT VALOR - hung inwards and paced roughly early in the run home.
WHOSDREAMINGNOW - when questioned regarding the performance trainer T Yesberg advised he was very disappointed and was unable to provide any explanation. Mr Yesberg added he will have the gelding examined by the stable veterinarian in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
THE NEXT BEST THING - raced four wide from the 600m.
LILY'S A STAR - driver R Close was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 25 October WHOSDREAMINGNOW has been sent for a spell.
Race 2   BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS PARTY WITH US AT ADDINGTON PACE
VERMEER LUSTRE - began awkwardly. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
SPORTY REPORTER - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke again near the 2300m losing all chance.
FULLA HOT EYRE - broke at the start losing ground.
ESTER LUCY - the off side buckle on the saddlecloth detached during the running.
TACKER - lay outwards near the 400m and briefly locked wheels with HEAVEN FORBID.
FREEDOMS BEAUTY - weakened final bend.
HEAVEN FORBID - fractious prior to the start. Locked wheels briefly with TACKER which lay outwards near the 400m.
Race 3   DANCINGINTHEDARK M (USA) 2YO MOBILE TROT
JUPITER JEWEL - had to be steadied near the 900m after a slight easing and switched to a pace before breaking and losing all chance.
MOLLYS REMEDY - lay inwards and trotted roughly racing into the first bend. Hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
STARSTRUCK - hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
MASSIVE MERC - lay outwards near the 1000m and shifted up the track resulting in trailing runners having to be steadied. Again lay outwards in the run home and shifted up the track forcing ODINA wider. A protest was lodged under Rule 869A(2) against 1st placing being awarded to MASSIVE MERC (A Clark) by driver B Hope (ODINA) placed 2nd, alleging interference in the run home when MASSIVE MERC shifted up the track. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest. Driver A Clark was issued a warning to ensure he makes a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home. Mr Clark advised he will be making gear changes prior to the gelding racing next.
ODINA - forced wider on the track in the run home when MASSIVE MERC shifted up the track. Trotted roughly near the 50m. Driver B Hope advised he was not afforded the opportunity to balance up his filly to activate the removeable deafeners after being taken wider on the track in the run home.
NATIVES CULLERDAMOON - hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend.
MAROUBRA - broke leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners and losing all chance.
Race 4   BETAVET MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when PRIDES CONTESSA broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver O Thornley elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart.
STAR MAGIC - trainer G Smith was issued a warning for not having the correct colours available. Held up throughout the run home. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the sliding blinds in consequence.
PRIDES CONTESSA - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver O Thornley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
THE NIGHT FOX - pre-race warmed.
Race 5   HILL LEE & SCOTT FOR ALL YOUR LEGAL REQUIREMENTS PACE
THE FINISHER - paced roughly at various stages throughout. Weakened final bend.
COUNTRY GOLD - broke at the start losing ground. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
EDDIE OSEI - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ZIA BROMAC - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Held up final bend.
GOORAMBAT ART - broke briefly shortly after the start.
MICHAEL EYRE - broke after 100m losing ground. Weakened final bend.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - hampered shortly after the start. Raced wide from the 1300m. Weakened from the 500m.
Race 6   RENWICK FARMS MOBILE PACE
BIG MAMA MORRIS - hung inwards striking a track marker leaving the final bend. Driver R Jenkins was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
LORD MUDRICK - over-raced middle stages.
WESTAR MOLLY - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Hope advised the gelding had to work hard in the early and middle stages with the effort taking its toll.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - raced wide from the 1000m.
TIMBIMBOO - over-raced early and middle stages.
DARBY - late scratching at 2.00pm on Veterinary advice.
Race 7   ALDEBARAN EAGLE (USA) MOBILE TROT
MOA MOJITO - driver C Thornley reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 600m.
BRIANNA - when questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised the mare had been suited by a drop in class from recent racing and an economical run throughout.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer D Burrows advised the mare had benefited from being able to lead and dictate terms in front.
BLINK N BONES - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
STEELINTHEHEEL - hampered by a slight easing of the pace passing the 900m. Lay inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend when weakening.
MEANDAD - hampered by a slight easing of the pace passing the 900m.
WHAT THE BELL - hampered by a slight easing of the pace passing the 900m. Broke in the run home before settling prior to the finish. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had broken for less than 50m and had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
LIVING THE MOMENT - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
TO HILL AND BACK - weakened final bend.
MISS GRACIE - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened final bend.
PEAKNMONKEY - driver R Close advised the gelding had over-raced through the middle stages.
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 24 October LIVING THE MOMENT has had a fetlock treated since last racing.
