Authorisation of all placings was withheld due to the race having been run over 1609m rather than the official distance of 1700m. It was established that the incorrect distance had been included in the Club's racebook and this error had not been detected in the normal pre meeting checking procedure. Stewards filed an information seeking a ruling from the Adjudicative Committee under Rule 1106(2) as to whether the race should be declared void. After hearing submissions from Stewards and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee declared the event a race and all clear on the Judge's placings was then given accordingly. |

Required assistance from an Attendant in the initial stages of the restart. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. |

Junior Driver D Grundmann (assisted by S Abernethy) was questioned with regard to appearing to take an extra turn when the field was called into line. After hearing from Mr Grundmann, Mr Abernethy, Starter F Phelan and viewing the replays Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Mr Grundmann of his obligations. | |
