HOOFN IT - Driver S Trotter (HOOFN IT) was warned for driving with his foot out of the sulky footrest for a distance rounding the final bend.

EUROSTYLE - connections advised that bloods taken off the mare have revealed signs of a virus which has now been treated.

Race 1   CUP DAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW AMATEUR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
THE HIGHLANDER - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung inwards and struck a track marker near the 1500m. Driver J Buckland-Stevens was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
PRIDES CONTESSA - paced roughly shortly after the start.
ONELOVEONELIFE - over-raced middle stages. Became awkwardly placed inside SWEET SPIRIT and raced roughly for a distance near the 600m. Driver M Maynard was shown a replay and advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
RUBY'S A DELIGHT - trainer J McDermott advised Stewards RUBY'S A DELIGHT has been served since last racing.
SWEET SPIRIT - locked wheels briefly with JUDGEMENT BAY shortly after the start.

Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD 'ALL STAR FIVE' TROT
PERFECT CALL - broke at the start losing all chance.
DESERT ROYAL - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Trotted roughly throughout the run home.
ROSE ISLE - broke over the concluding stages.
KISS ME KATE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
LYALLDALE TROUBLE - hampered by breaking runners at the start. Broke near the 350m losing all chance.
Race 3   'DOWNBYTHESEASIDE' MAKING A SPLASH MOBILE PACE
NED KELLY - over-raced early and middle stages. Hung outwards near the 600m when over-racing and contacted and punctured the sulky tyre of MOTOR MOUTH. Stewards questioned driver R Cameron regarding this and after viewing the replays were satisfied that Mr Cameron was not at fault due to the racing manners of NED KELLY. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MOTOR MOUTH - raced wide from the 1300m. Weakened final bend. Driver M Williamson advised he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 4   TRACKSIDE DINING AVAILABLE THIS FRIDAY MOBILE PACE
RUTHERFORD - raced wide early and middle stages. Lay inwards and locked wheels briefly with FREEDOMS BEAUTY near the 1600m. Weakened final bend.
FREEDOMS BEAUTY - locked wheels briefly with RUTHERFORD which lay inwards near the 1600m.
Race 5   'LATHER UP' A DUAL WORLD CHAMPION MOBILE PACE
ROLLWITHIT - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer M House advised he was very disappointed with the effort and would be having his veterinarian examine the gelding. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
THE NIGHT FOX - pre-race warmed.
IGETAKICKOUTOFYOU - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer M Purvis advised the gelding had taken benefit from an increased workload in training.
JUDINE - raced wide early.
IVONA DADIC - forced to race four wide near the 600m.
SPIRITED LOU - out of position at the candy pole and start despite the efforts of driver K Butt. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the horse.
Race 6   'SWEET LOU' THE MOST POPULAR SIRE OF 2023 PACE
SPORTY REPORTER - broke at the start losing ground. Paced roughly passing the 1600m. Weakened passing the 600m.
GIVE ME PEACE - paced roughly rounding the final bend when weakening hampering a trailing runner.
LILY'S A STAR - broke at the start losing ground.
HOLLY K - fractious prior to the start.
TACKER - hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Lay inwards striking track markers leaving the final bend.
ALLBETSROFF - raced wide early. Hung inwards rounding the final bend. Driver J Dunn advised he was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
THE QUIET PIRATE - slow to begin.
SWEET GLORY - paced roughly for a distance shortly after the start.
MEMOIRS OF VINNY - trainer M House was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to notify the filly would be racing with removable deafeners and blinds. Broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 850m losing ground.
HEAVEN FORBID - broke shortly after the start losing all chance and was retired from the race.

RACEY KRUSA - over-raced middle stages.
SPEEDING SPIRIT - briefly crowded by an inside runner near the 100m.
TAKE AFTER ME - over-raced middle stages. Lay outwards passing the 100m briefly crowding an outside runner.
A LATE LATE PRESSY - over-raced middle stages.
PENELOPE HALL - over-raced middle stages.
GINAS MAJESTY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1900m. Over-raced middle stages.
LOVE POTION - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer K Cameron advised the mare had benefited from a recent change in its training regime.
TO HILL AND BACK - broke near the 1900m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
LIVING THE MOMENT - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
Race 8   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
THE BETTOR MAJOR - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DIDJASHOUTTHEBAR - broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages.
EXECUTIVE BANNER - raced greenly on several occasions in the middle stages and rounding the final bend.
TYRION - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Driver J Young-Grant advised she was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord breaking. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
HILDA MAUD - weakened final bend.
KING ARTHUR - raced wide early.
SOPHIA BROMAC - pre-race warmed.
