Co-Trainer S Telfer advised Stewards on 07 October that ELIZABETH HILL has recovered well from her disappointing run and that some bruising has been found in a front foot which required some shoeing adjustments. Mr Telfer added that the mare will be freshened before resuming. |

RAKERO SCOTTY - lay in and broke near the 350m locking wheels with NEYMAR with resultant interference to BENSON DUDE and lost all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Trainer F Mitchell advised that the gelding would not be persevered with as a racing proposition. |

ASTERIA LAVRA - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Broke passing the 140m. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded to this runner under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 50m in the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and ASTERIA LAVRA was disqualified by Stewards. | |
