Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
THE LAZARUS EFFECT - driver B Butt advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
CARRERA BANDIDO - paced roughly for a distance near the 1500m having to be steadied. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m. Again paced roughly passing the 900m. Lay inwards striking a track marker rounding the final bend.
ALWAYS ON SALE - broke late in the score up checking a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up rounding the final bend and then broke losing all chance near the 300m. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the gelding.
JUSTYOUWAIT - held up rounding the final bend.
ULTIMATE GUINNESS - over-raced early stages.
RUTHERFORD - checked by a breaking runner late in the score up. Broke passing the 1300m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. A Request for a Ruling was lodged with the Adjudicative Committee by Stewards to determine whether RUTHERFORD had been denied a fair start. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and driver R Close the Adjudicative Committee declared RUTHERFORD to be a runner.
DELIGHTFUL PEG - raced wide early. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 2   DANCINGINTHEDARK M (USA) 3YO MOBILE TROT
TIME FOR VICTORY - hung inwards and struck a track marker on the final bend.
LOOK TO DA STARS - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. Co-trainer N Purdon advised he will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
BRING ON THE MUSCLE - hung inwards on several occasions through the running.
Race 3   DUNSTAN SIRES' STAKES SERIES 2YO FILLIES (HEAT 2) MOB PACE
CELESTIAL SEA - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Newman hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1250m. Again hampered near the 450m.
MUSIC MISTRESS - held up for a distance passing the 600m and then momentarily locked wheels with WITHOUT YOU which lay inwards near the 450m and lost ground with trailing runners being hampered. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised that despite being held up and hampered he was disappointed with the effort. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
ALLETS - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
WITHOUT YOU - lay inwards near the 450m and momentarily locked wheels with MUSIC MISTRESS with both runners losing ground hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer/driver M Purdon advised the filly had travelled well however had failed to respond when placed under pressure. Mr Purdon added he will have blood tests taken from the horse in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
SPICEY CRUNCH - hampered in the score up. Over-raced and broke briefly near the 1250m hampering trailing runners. Broke again near the 1100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had reviewed replays of the start and were satisfied the filly's chances had not been materially affected prior to the start.
GONE SURFIN - raced wide early before reaching the parked position at the 1200m. Weakened near the 500m hampering a trailing runner and was then crowded near the 450m striking a track marker. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the filly had worked too hard in the early stages with the effort taking its toll.
VINCENT REACTRESS - hampered near the 450m.
Race 4   BETAVET TROT
KAWHI - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver S Hill advised the gelding had taken improvement from recent racing and had received an economical run throughout from a favourable draw.
PENELOPE HALL - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Held up rounding the final bend.
LA DAMA - raced wide from the 850m. Weakened final bend. When questioned driver T Williams was unable to provide any tangible reason for the performance.
YOSEMITE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
MISS GRACIE - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance.
WHAT THE BELL - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Broke again passing the 650m losing ground.
CRAZY N LOVE - broke passing the 900m losing all chance.
BULLIT TRAIN - held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home. Driver K Butt advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
DANCING GLENIS - hampered by a breaking runner at the start and was then slow over the early and middle stages. Weakened from the 900m. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised the mare had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Following this race the track was upgraded to Good.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD 'ALL STAR FIVE' MOBILE PACE
KOTARE KELSO - over-raced for a distance passing the 1100m. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised that over-racing in the middle stages after having to work hard early had taken its toll.
MAGICIAN - pre-race warmed.
DANCING DESIRE - raced wide from the 800m.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - held up final bend.
WISH ME LUCK - held up final bend and early in the run home.
MIGHTY FLYING LOU - hung inwards over the concluding stages.
Race 6   GARRARDS TROT
GRANNY ROSE - fractious prior to the start. Lay inwards striking track markers rounding the first bend.
RUSH - lay inwards near the 1500m and struck a track marker.
T K MEGASTAR - over-raced middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend.
OUR PEGASUS PEARL - hampered near the 350m and broke losing all chance.
PREMIUM PLAYER - lay inwards near the 1600m placing REGAL SIERRA in restricted room which struck track markers.
REGAL SIERRA - placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 1600m striking track markers. Held up by weakening runners near the 350m having to be steadied hampering a trailing runner.
BOUNCE N BEYOND - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Broke again rounding the final bend. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TE RAPA - over-raced middle stages. Broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.
Race 7   WOODLANDS SIRES' STAKES SERIES 2YO C & G (HEAT 4) MOB PACE
PREMIER - over-raced racing into the first bend and had to be restrained after progressing to the inside of COBA CHARGED which had crossed to the marker line. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 650m.
COBA CHARGED - hampered by a weakening runner near the 650m. Driver R Close reported he accidentally dropped his whip racing into the first bend.
BETTORS ANVIL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 650m. Shifted outwards near the 600m resulting in IRISH DREAM being placed in restricted room and breaking shortly after. Held up throughout the run home. After questioning drivers S Tomlinson (IRISH DREAM) and T Williams (BETTORS ANVIL), Stewards issued Mr Williams with a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly when shifting outwards near the 600m when not clear resulting in IRISH DREAM being checked and breaking shortly after losing its chance. Mr Williams advised he would be defending the charge and the hearing was adjourned to the Methven TC meeting on 6 October 2024.
TACT TEVA - hung inwards striking track markers final bend.
MALAKAI - lay outwards when being restrained near the 900m and then weakened from the 650m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
IRISH DREAM - lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 1500m. Over-raced middle stages. Placed in restricted room near the 600m having to be restrained when an inside runner shifted outwards and broke shortly after losing all chance.
BAR LOUIE - lay inwards and contacted the sulky of PREMIER resulting in the gelding pacing roughly and having to be steadied near the 1000m.
GOT THE CHOCOLATES - raced wide for a distance passing the 1300m until reaching the parked position near the 600m.
RUBIRA - raced wide early.
Race 8   MATT HARRISON CONSTRUCTION HANDICAP TROT
CODY BANNER - weakened passing the 600m and then broke near the 500m losing all chance.
TU TANGATA - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DESBOIS - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
STYX JEWEL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
HELLOVEAMOMENT - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

MOLLY BELWIN - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
FLYING ELLIE - over-raced middle stages.
FOLLOW YOUR DREAM - forced to race three wide near the 800m.
SHAKIRA - hampered near the 600m.
OUR SHANGRI LANA - co-trainers G & N Hope were issued a warning for being late to notify the filly would be racing without the notified sliding blinds.
ALL YOU NEED IS ME - pre-race warmed. Raced greenly near the 600m hampering a trailing runner. Driver C Dalgety advised he was disappointed with the effort of the filly. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no abnormalities.
MELODY BANNER - late scratching at 10.00am on Veterinary advice.
Race 10   THE PENINSULA BEACHFRONT RESORT, MOOLOOLABA MOBILE PACE
DECEPTIVE LEE - held up rounding the final bend.
TIDE AND TIME - over-raced middle stages.
Race 11   BRECKON FARMS HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed when MAUI required assistance from a Starting Attendant to take up its position. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
EUROKASH - co-trainers G & N Hope were issued a warning for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with removable deafeners instead of the notified fixed deafeners and pacifier.
MIGHTY LOGAN - driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
LOVE N THE PORT - trotted roughly early and middle stages of the run home and broke over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MYSTIC MAX - broke briefly at the start. Dislodged a mudguard racing into the first bend.
FIERY BANDITO - trotted roughly rounding the final bend striking a track marker.
OSCAR BONAVENA - over-raced early and middle stages. Raced wide final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Purdon advised the horse had raced keenly in a fresh state and is best suited when able to be saved for one run. Mr Purdon further added he was satisfied with the performance given the 35m handicap and it was the horse's first start back at Addington for some time after having a spell.
Race 12   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
TIMBIMBOO - held up early in the run home. Lay inwards late in the run home.
MAJOR HAPPY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room until late in the run home and lay outwards just prior to the finish placing an outside runner in restricted room. Driver K Newman advised the did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
SONG SUNG BLUE - raced greenly for a distance in the middle stages when attempting to lead despite the efforts of driver M Williamson. Placed in restricted room when runners either side shifted ground late in the run home.
COMMANDER JOE - raced wide early and middle stages. Raced in restricted room late in the run home when an inside runner lay outwards.
EASTWOOD DREAM - held up late in the run home.
SOPHIA BROMAC - held up early in the run home.
