Race 9 - FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
Junior driver A Cameron (KING ARTHUR) assisted by senior driver R May admitted a breach of Rule 868(2) in that she failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to win or obtain the best possible finishing position by remaining behind a weakening runner for a considerable distance passing the 600m resulting in KING ARTHUR losing ground. After viewing the replays and considering penalty submissions, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Cameron's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 6 October up to and including 25 October 2024 (7 days).

WALLFLOWER - returned to the stabling area with blood present in a nostril. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination confirmed the filly had bled. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
STEPHS BOY - lay outwards in the run home.
WOTSONYAMIND - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and early in the run home. Lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 200m.
ACTION MAJOR - Trainer G Dunn advised Stewards on 26 September ACTION MAJOR has had its knees treated since last racing.
LEWEY MAGUIRE - driver T Williams advised Stewards he accidentally made contact with the gelding's hind leg in the run home when activating the sliding blinds after his foot slipped. After viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied with Mr Williams explanation.

MAJOR CYCLONE - trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out.

Race 3   REGISTERED MASTER JOINERS TWO-YEAR-OLD MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when DELIGHTFUL PEG attempted to run out the gate as the field left the pre-race formation causing interference to trailing runners and contacted the fence. DELIGHTFUL PEG underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
ABSOLUTE BABE - late scratching at 2.30pm on veterinary advice.
THERON - connections advised Stewards the filly has had its joints treated since last racing. Struck track markers near the 1600m when placed in restricted room. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner and struck a track marker. Driver T Chmiel was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for contacting a track marker on the final bend.
CAPTAIN CHRISTIAN - broke briefly in the score up and was in position at the start. Paced roughly in the early stages losing ground and again near the 200m. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the gelding had raced greenly.
TREASURE COVE - connections advised Stewards the colt has had its joints treated since last racing. Over-raced middle stages.
SPICEY CRUNCH - struck a track marker leaving the final bend. Driver J Dickie was issued a warning.
FIVE CROWNS - paced roughly passing the 1600m when being restrained in an attempt to obtain cover. Driver S Thornley was issued a warning for the manner in which he drove when placing an inside runner in restricted room and over a track marker near the 1600m before being corrected. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
IRISH DREAM - fractious and reared prior to the first attempt at a start and was then hampered. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up by a weakening runner final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
BEAUDIENE HUNTER - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Co-trainer A Telfer advised she will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
DELIGHTFUL PEG - over-raced middle stages.
Race 4   CANPRINT LAZARUS THREE-YEAR-OLD STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
I'M ROCKIN - hung inwards near the 1450m striking a track marker. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance connections advised the gelding had been unsuited to racing up in class from previous starts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
RENEGADE - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver R May advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - when questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the effort of the colt. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
BETTERTHANCASH - lay inwards final bend striking several track markers.
SPIRIT OF ANARCHY - over-raced middle stages.
JUSTCALLMEMIKI - raced wide from the 1400m.

MASSIVE MERC - crowded momentarily leaving the final bend and struck a track marker.
ATLANTIC CITY - hung inwards near the 1500m and raced inside several track markers. Lay inwards leaving the final bend striking several track markers.
DELLA'S FELLA - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MAROUBRA - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend losing ground.
HABIBTI PAT - driver B Orange advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
FRAZZLED - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.

HELLOVEAMOMENT - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
MASTER CLASS - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.

B D JOE - connections advised Stewards the gelding has had its joints treated since last racing. Broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Forced to race four wide for a short distance passing the 950m. Held up for clear racing room in the run home.
ALTA METEOR - held up early in the run home.
TACT MCLEOD - broke briefly at the start.
MOSSDALE BEN - over-raced middle stages.
AMERICAN ME - hampered by breaking runners at the start.
REPUBLICAN PARTY - broke briefly shortly after the start and was then hampered by a breaking runner. Raced wide with cover from the 1500m. Returned to the stabling area with blood present underneath the number on the near side. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the number had caused a superficial rub in the thorax area on a boil with no treatment required.
DA VINCI - held up early in the run home.
WHO'S DELIGHT - raced wide early. Lay inwards near the 1800m and made contact with the sulky wheel of HERE'S HERBIE.
Race 9   XCM SPORT MOBILE PACE
MY FRIEND LOUIE - late scratching on veterinary advice at 7.30pm. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
ARDEN'S MEMORY - when questioned driver B Orange advised he was pleased with the performance considering the filly was racing up in grade from recent starts.
BORRISOKANE - raced wide early. Paced roughly final bend losing ground.
Race 10   WOODLANDS STUD SECOND MARES' SPRING SPRINT (MOBILE PACE)
A false start was declared when LOURETTA broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver C Ferguson elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
DANCING DESIRE - raced wide early.
FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD - driver K Green admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.
CLASSIE LINC - required assistance from a Starting Attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
PRINCESS MERITATEN - raced wide early.
Race 11   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
THE NIGHT FOX - hung outwards for a distance after the start and was then placed in restricted room racing into the first bend. Over-raced middle stages.
REGGIE GOLIGHTLY - crowded near the 1800m and then lay inwards placing an inside runner in restricted room. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DON JUAN - shifted inwards near the 1800m crowding an inside runner. Junior driver M Holbrough (assisted by M Purvis) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly when shifting ground when insufficiently clear resulting in REGGIE GOLIGHTLY being crowded and THE NIGHT FOX being checked shortly after. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Holbrough's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 6 October 2024 (2 days).
