SHESGOLD - slow early. Lay inwards in the run home and locked wheels with FLYING SCOTSMAN shortly after the finish.
ARADNE - pre-race warmed.
FATHER BARRY - broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1600m losing all chance.
VISCOUNT MACKENDON - held up until late in the run home. Driver C Hackett reported that she did not activate the removable deafeners as a result.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - trotted roughly early stages. Lay outwards in the run home and locked wheels with SHESGOLD shortly after the finish.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - trotted roughly passing the 100m before switching to a pace and breaking over the concluding stages.

STEEL LEDGER - lay inwards rounding the turns and in particular the final turn when weakening. A post-race veterinary examination, which included an endoscopic procedure, revealed symptoms of a respiratory infection which will be treated.
DELIGHTFUL CHIC - lay inwards rounding the final turn and contacted several track markers when weakening. Continued to lay inwards throughout the run home.

IDEAL DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly near the 350m.

LE MAJOR - briefly hampered near the 1000m after a slight easing of the pace. Weakened in the run home.
MAKO - raced greenly when improving to the lead near the 1000m resulting in a slight easing of the pace hampering trailing runners.
THE SURFER - hampered and broke briefly near the 1000m after a slight easing of the pace. Raced greenly leaving the final turn when weakening.
BETTER KNUCKLE UP - hampered by a slight easing of the pace near the 1000m. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver C Hackett reported that she did not activate the removable deafeners as a result.

HEARTS N ACES - Driver J Cox reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 700m.
RAGNAR LOTHBROK - raced wide early. Weakened final turn.
AVENTADOR - checked by a breaking runner in the early stages losing ground.
LINCOLN LOU - broke after 100m checking trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the colt's barrier manners.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - checked by a breaking runner in the early stages losing ground. Raced four wide from the 600m.
THE NIGHT AGENT - checked by a breaking runner in the early stages losing ground. Weakened final turn.
BEACHBREAK - checked by a breaking runner in the early stages and broke losing all chance.
I GOT CHILLS - over-raced middle stages. Contacted the sulky wheel of HEARTS N ACES, which punctured, near the 700m. Junior Driver C Hackett, assisted by S Phelan, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly in this incident. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Ms Hackett's driver's licence from conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 27 September 2024 (2 days). Held up by a weakening runner final turn.
Race 7   CADUCEUS CLUB 2YO FILLIES CLASSIC MOBILE PACE
WITHOUT YOU - lay outwards passing the 150m when utilising the passing lane briefly locking wheels with WON AND ONLY.
LA MIKI - held up throughout the run home.
WON AND ONLY - briefly locked wheels with WITHOUT YOU near the 150m.
ALWAYS B MISTY - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
HOT AND DANGEROUS - held up throughout the run home.
AMAZING CAPTAIN - held up throughout the run home.
SADHAKA - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. Raced wide with cover from the 1200m.

TYRON'S CONNOISSEUR - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.

BEETASTIC - raced wide with cover from the 1000m. Driver P Ferguson reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
MUSIC MISTRESS - raced wide early. Over-raced early and middle stages when outside the leader.
Race 8   IRT SPRING CUP HANDICAP PACE
JOLIMONT - broke at the start losing ground. Driver T Mitchell admitted a charge under Rule 869 (5) in that he half carted for a distance racing through the front straight to receive the bell. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee issued a fine of $200.
LADY OF THE LIGHT - broke briefly shortly after the start.
MIKI SHAN - lay inwards rounding the final turn contacting several track markers. Driver M McKendry admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he shifted ground inwards near the 600m when not sufficiently clear of MERLIN which had to be restrained thereby losing its racing position. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McKendry's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 27 September 2024 (2 days).
Race 9   100% HOME MAGNESS BENROW HANDICAP TROT
BOLT FOR THE HILL - mixed its gait shortly after the start losing ground. A final warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
ITAINTNECESSARILYSO - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Lay in and raced over track markers rounding the final turn several of which were dislodged.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - broke near the 950m losing its chance.
MAZEPPA - swung inwards when the barriers were released hampering IRON LOVE and was slow to begin. Broke near the 250m losing its chance.
