Race 1   IRT SIRES' STAKES 2YO TROTTERS PRELUDE (MOBILE TROT)
LUBY'S LUCK - broke as the start was effected losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
HABIBTI PAT - trotted roughly for a distance passing the 250m having to be steadied by driver B Orange.
MASSIVE MERC - lay in rounding the final bend striking a track marker.
Race 2   HEAD TO TRACKSIDE.CO.NZ MOBILE PACE
INTERRORGATOR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Ottley. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages.
MAXED OUT - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung inwards for a distance after the start and then over-raced causing driver J Dunn some difficulty and was retired from the race. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DELIGHTFUL DREAMS - trainer M House advised Stewards the gelding has been treated for a virus since last racing.
KATYS SHADOW - paced roughly shortly after the start.
THE MANTIS - lay inwards striking a track marker passing the 900m. Hung inwards and raced over a number of track markers near the 400m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Authorisation of 2nd placing being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage after racing over several track markers rounding the final bend. Driver S Thornley advised he would be recommending gear changes.
DAISY DIANA - fractious prior to the start requiring assistance from a Starting Attendant and was then out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Returned to the stabling area with blood present in a nostril. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination confirmed the filly had bled. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
ENABLE - broke at the 150m losing ground.
LIZZIE SHELBY - hung inwards final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer B Hill advised the filly had got too far back in the running and was unable to make up ground due to the fast closing sectionals.
Race 3   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE 'MAKING A SPLASH' 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
BETTER BE QUICK - contacted several track markers rounding the final bend. Driver K Newman was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
ELEKTRA KING - hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
VINCENT REACTRESS - broke near the 350m hampering trailing runners losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
ALLETS - raced wide early.
GONE SURFIN - raced wide early.
ABSOLUTE BABE - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Slow in the early stages losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities and a warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly.
STELLA ROUGE - over-raced early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised he was disappointed with the effort despite racing wide early. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
SWEET MAGGIE MAE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
DELIGHTFUL PEG - fractious prior to the start. Broke briefly near the 700m. Broke again near the 100m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
Race 4   MACCA LODGE SIRES' STAKES 3YO FILLIES CLASSIQUE (MOB TROT)
FEAR AND FAITH - held up early in the run home and shifted ground outwards near the 150m placing HIGH STEP in restricted room momentarily. Driver J Morrison was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he drove when shifting ground.
JUDY J - broke in the score up and was back a distance at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
LIME IN A BOTTLE - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
HIGH STEP - briefly placed in restricted room near the 150m when an inside runner shifted outwards.
Race 5   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
LEWEY MAGUIRE - broke just prior to the start checking a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WISH ME LUCK - driver O Thornley reported a sulky tyre deflated during the running. Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into this matter.
TEMPO WARRIOR - over-raced middle stages.
MIGHTY FLYING LOU - checked by a breaking runner just prior to the start. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
Race 6   WOODLANDS STUD SIRES' STAKES 2YO C & G (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when SACETAS attempted to buck in the score up checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver R May elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
SACETAS - Over-raced early stages.
STRIKEM - trainer M Jones was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding to race without the notified sliding blinds.
BETTORS ANVIL - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
THE CON ARTIST - raced wide early.

DECEPTIVE LEE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 400m.
HELIUM - broke at the start and shifted inwards hampering inside and trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TANZANIA - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
TRIPLE G - fractious prior to the start requiring assistance from a Starting Attendant. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CHARLIE BROWN - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
TACT MCLEOD - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
LAVER - weakened from the 400m hampering a trailing runner.
Race 8   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
PENNY WEIGHT - driver J Morrison reported a sulky tyre was struck and punctured rounding the final bend.
FERGALICIOUS - shifted outwards rounding the final bend and struck the sulky tyre of PENNY WEIGHT which punctured. Junior driver K Newman, who declined assistance from a senior driver, admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident and after viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
MOSSDALE MARGARET - held up late in the run home.
Race 9   DANCINGINTHEDARK M (USA) HANDICAP TROT
T K MEGASTAR - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
KINK - paced shortly after the start having to be broken up by its driver losing all chance.
ROYAL DEL - broke briefly shortly after the start.
IT'S SO EASY - trotted roughly over the early stages then paced racing into the first bend losing all chance. Driver P Davis reported the mare had lost a front shoe.
CLYDE - began awkwardly. Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
TU TANGATA - broke briefly at the start.
SHEZA GIFT - trotted roughly passing the 1400m.
GEORGE ELIOT - broke at the start losing ground.
THE DOMINATOR - broke passing the 2300m losing considerable ground.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
The start was aborted when TABASCO required attention to its gear.
