Race 4 - ASK BUILDING LTD MOBILE PACE
Driver N Williamson admitted a charge under Rule 869(4) and the Home Straight Regulations, in that he allowed his runner (POUNAMU) to shift into the passing lane for a distance passing the 200m resulting in RYLAN CHARLIE having to be steadied. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 19 September until the conclusion of racing on 22 September 2024 (2 days).

Race 1   LEADER BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
NO ADDED SUGAR - raced in restricted room near the 250m and contacted a track marker.
BETTER BE WATCHING - held up in the middle stages of run home only obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
ROBYNS ART - over-raced through the middle stages.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - lay in rounding the bends during the running and in particular near the 250m placing NO ADDED SUGAR in restricted room. Lay in again in the latter stages of the run home with driver J Cox unable to drive the mare out.
Race 2   REGENT CAR COURT HANDICAP TROT
PHISHING - fractious prior to the start and was sent to the Unruly position by Starter B Ward where the mare will remain for future standing starts. Bounded and broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SHAKEDOWN - trotted roughly in the early stages before breaking passing the 2000m losing all chance.
TOP OF THE HILL - broke passing the 400m hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
OUR ROSE HILL - broke passing the 1800m and again near the 1600m losing ground. Trotted roughly at various stages throughout. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking during the running.
HUCKLEBERRY - broke passing the 1700m losing considerable ground. Broke again rounding the final bend losing all chance.
BURNING LOVE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
Race 3   BOOK YOUR MARQUEE FOR OUR CHRISTMAS RACES MOBILE PACE
LOTTIE'S LUCK - lay in rounding the final bend contacting track markers.
NORTHVIEW SWEET - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
TILLY DUNNAGE - driver R McIlwrick reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 4   MONICA TORETTO PHOTOGRAPHY FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
FETA GO FERNCO - over-raced middle stages.
SHEZZA VINNY - lay in and paced roughly early in the run home, becoming awkwardly placed on the sulky wheel of TRENDY VAN GOGH, having to be corrected by driver K Tomlinson. Again paced roughly over the concluding stages.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD RACE DAY 20TH NOVEMBER HANDICAP TROT
EMILY - held up throughout the run home.
BILL BOOTIT - junior driver G Goodman, assisted by N Williamson, was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. In taking this course of action Stewards took into account Miss Goodman's lack of race day driving experience.
ABADABADO - lay in leaving the final bend and the early stages of the run home.
FLYING WITHOUT WINGS - driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners or activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
Race 6   CRAIG AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
FOXFIRE EASTON - over-raced in the score up and again when being restrained to take cover in the early stages.
BROOKIES PLAYER - when asked to comment on the performance driver M Hill advised it was the gelding's first run back from a freshen up and it would take natural benefit from today's outing.
Race 7   SWEET LOU SERVICE FOR TENDER AVAILABLE MOBILE PACE
ARTMORE - trainer J Douglas was warned after the mare was presented without the notified sliding blinds and raced in non-notified removable deafeners.
PUTERE BOY - when asked to comment on the performance driver N Williamson advised that the gelding had been driven for one run with the race not run to suit, adding that he was not disappointed.
Race 8   STAGS VS CANTERBURY 7.05PM TOMORROW NIGHT MOBILE PACE
CRUISING FONTANA - raced three wide without cover until reaching the parked position near the 1200m.
CRANACHAN - raced greenly for a distance in the score up with driver N Williamson reporting the rein pricker had become caught up prior to the start. Raced three wide with cover until reaching the parked position near the 1000m.
PLAY THE ACE - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
JAYAR MAC - out of position at the start. Driver M Hill was issued with a warning for failing to come up into his barrier position. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
MIND PHILLY - weakened over the concluding stages.
MACANDREW MARKUP - held up final bend and again in the latter stages of the run home.
PHILADELPHIA LAD - broke rounding the final bend hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MIKI COHEN - raced three wide for a distance through the middle stages.
