Race 1   ALL THE NEWS AT TRACKSIDE.CO.NZ MOBILE TROT
SKEE PRINCESS - broke in the score up and was well back from position at dispatch. Broke again shortly after the start when trailing the field losing further ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
WIND OF CHANGE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Lay in and broke near the 300m losing ground. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging that this runner had broken in excess of 150m over the early stages. Connections did not contest the protest and WIND OF CHANGE was disqualified by Stewards.
HARLEEN QUINZEL - broke near the 600m losing considerable ground before switching to a pace and was not persevered with.
CHESINOV - back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Over-raced middle stages.
DOLLY P - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.

LUKAKU - held up early in the run home.
WHITFIELD - had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.

DREAM ON LOU - Trainer J Gommans was issued a warning for the late notification of blinds. Lay out and broke near the 950m hampering trailing runners losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
MACK PACK - Driver L Hollis reported that a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
SPIRIT OF GOD - weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
PASS CODE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 950m losing ground.
SCOTT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 950m.
CATHY FREEMAN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 950m losing ground.
HADMEABLAST - paced roughly shortly after the start. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 950m. Weakened final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher could offer no explanation for the disappointing run.

BOSS KENNY - slow to begin. Broke near the 1550m losing all chance
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - slow to begin. Broke near the 800m losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
SWEET OLIVIA - lay out under pressure in the run home.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - when questioned regarding his decision to shift out from the one one position near the 1050m Driver S Abernethy stated that he felt the tempo had only been moderate at this stage and that his gelding had performed well previously when applying midrace pressure. Stewards noted Mr Abernethy's comments.
Race 5   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND MOBILE PACE
THE ARTFUL GAMBLER - broke late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Over-raced middle stages.
BRITTANIA - lay out racing through the straights and in particular the run home despite the efforts of Driver J Dickie hampering the winner CONRAD H. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
ITS ELECTRIFYING - paced roughly passing the 400m and broke losing ground before settling. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
LOOKATME CHRISTY - paced roughly near the 500m losing ground. Continued to pace roughly rounding the final turn.
TRES BONNE FILLE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - shifted out rounding the final turn but was corrected by Driver M Ranger. Lay out throughout the run home with Ms Ranger being unable to drive the gelding out fully or activate the deafeners.
DESISTELLA - Trainer Z Butcher was issued a warning for the late notification of fixed deafeners. Broke in the score up hampering a second row runner and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Weakened final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial laceration to the near fore heel. Mr Butcher advised that the filly would be placed with Trainer D Butcher for its immediate future racing.
IM NOT THE MAID - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Weakened from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
LORD DELMAR - weakened late in the run home.
CHEER ME ON - hampered in the score up but was in position at the candy pole.
BLUE CHIP LOU - broke in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Weakened late in the run home.
Race 7   OFF THE TRACK FOOD AND BEV HANDICAP TROT
TOPAZ CASTLETON - locked wheels with TEQUILA SUNRISE and broke near the 750m losing all chance.
BERTHA'S PRIDE - broke at the start hampering FLYING SCOTSMAN but soon settled. Trotted roughly rounding the first turn. Broke again near the 1700m losing ground. Broke on a further occasion shortly after losing all chance and was retired from the event. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion.
TEQUILA SUNRISE - lay in rounding the turns. Lay in contacting track markers near the 750m and broke before locking wheels with TOPAZ CASTLETON with both runners losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - trotted roughly near the 600m losing ground. Trotted roughly again rounding the final turn.
SLAINTE - Driver G Martin reported that he been unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the clip on the release cord breaking.
ORDAINED - slow early stages.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - hampered and broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
COSMIC ANGEL - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by breaking runners near the 750m. Weakened rounding the final turn.
MR MUSCLE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 8   CHRISTMAS AT THE RACEWAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
TUGAWAR - paced roughly for several strides near the 1650m.
