Co-trainer S Phelan advised Stewards on 26 August that the blood tests taken from INVISIBLE had come back normal and that the gelding was continuing its preparation.

Race 1   NZMCA PARKING ON SITE HANDICAP TROT
WIND OF CHANGE - broke shortly after the start losing ground before settling. Broke near the 800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners
IVANKA - broke shortly after the start and settled at the rear. Broke near the 1700m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off fore. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
SCOOTS - trotted roughly rounding the first turn losing ground. Continued to trot roughly at various stages. Broke near the 400m losing its chance. Broke again passing the 200m and on a further occasion late in the run home. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
PLAY FAST AND LOOSE - broke shortly after the start losing ground before settling. Broke near the 900m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
CHESINOV - locked wheels briefly with an outside runner passing the 1400m. Held up rounding the final turn losing ground.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - broke near the 650m losing ground before settling. A final warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
TEQUILA SUNRISE - lay in and locked wheels briefly with an inside runner passing the 1400m before improving to the lead. Lay in rounding the final turn losing ground.
Race 2   OFF THE TRACK FOOD AND BEV MOBILE PACE
STEEL LEDGER - lay in near the 950m after having improved to the lead contacting several track markers with one being dislodged.
Race 3   FRIDAY STEAK NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE MOBILE PACE
BENSON DUDE - held up final turn and early stages of the run home with Driver J Abernethy not activating the sliding blinds or removable deafeners as a result.
TICKING OVER - lay in and contacted a track marker approaching the 200m.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - paced roughly for a stride near the 250m after contacting and puncturing the sulky wheel of CHEER ME ON. Junior Driver D Grundmann, assisted by J Abernethy, admitted a charge under 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Grundmann's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 6 September 2024 (3 days).
CHEER ME ON - paced roughly approaching the 100m and had to be steadied. Driver D Butcher advised that he had sustained a punctured sulky tyre on the home turn.
BAILEYS PITCH - over-raced middle stages. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running early and then late in the home straight.
Race 4   CHRISTMAS AT THE RACEWAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW HCP PACE
CYREN SHARD - over-raced middle stages.
BET WEST - locked wheels briefly with an outside runner near the 600m. Driver L Hollis was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ALWAYS FLYIN - slow to settle early losing ground. Locked wheels briefly with an inside runner near the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Stormont stated that after being slow away then improving without cover from the 1100m the colt had failed to run on and may be feeling the effects of recent racing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 5   BETAVET PREPARE HANDICAP TROT
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - lay in rounding the turns. Hampered when held up by a weakening runner leaving the back straight the final time. Held up late in the run home.
KISS MY PIXEL - connections advised that the mare will be racing in season. Lay in rounding the turns. Weakened from the 650m.
EAGLE HANOVER - broke rounding the first turn settling at the rear.
SLAINTE - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
MR MUSCLE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
SWEET OLIVIA - tended to shift out under pressure in the run home despite the efforts of Driver T Mitchell.
JOHNNY WHO - broke the start losing considerable ground.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - hampered briefly shortly after the start. Lay in rounding the turns.
DEL SHANNON - pre-race warmed.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
PAPENHUYZEN - over-raced middle stages.
MALEFICENCE - had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
POTTER - lay in and paced roughly rounding the first turn when contesting the lead.
Race 7   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
SAYS WHO - Driver N Chilcott reported that the gelding had pulled the near fore shoe rounding the first turn and she had not activated the sliding blinds and removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ANN FRANK - paced roughly rounding the first turn.
MONTE CRISTO - over-raced early and middle stages.
SECRET BID - paced roughly at various stages and in particular rounding the final turn when weakening.
