After hearing Mr Beecroft's explanation Stewards noted his explanation. |

PLAYING WITH STARS - shifted outwards leaving the final bend and again near the 250m locking wheels with TAKE THE DEAL resulting in both runners being pulled up prior to the winning post. Junior driver S Hill (assisted by S Tomlinson) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when allowing his runner to improve into a gap early in the run home when no run existed resulting in his horse locking wheels with TAKE THE DEAL with both runners losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hill's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 1 September 2024 (2 days). | |
