Trainer J Howe advised Stewards on 22 July MAXWELL EDISON has had its hocks treated since last racing.

Race 3 - DARREN DEFILIPPI MEMORIAL (JUNIOR DRIVERS) HCP TROT
Junior driver K Newman (THE BLOSS), who declined assistance from a Senior driver, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in a continuous manner rounding the final bend and in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Newman's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 28 July up to and including 4 August 2024 (2 days).
Race 6 - GARRARDS MOBILE TROT
Trainer P Nairn advised Stewards on 22 July HIGH NOON had its knees and hocks treated that day.
Trainer M Williamson advised Stewards on 26 July LIME IN A BOTTLE has recovered well since its last start and will be freshened prior to resuming.
Trainer P Williamson advised Stewards on 26 July GALLEONS GRANDSON has recovered well since its last start and he will continue with the gelding's current preparation.

Race 4 - THE BIRDWOOD MOBILE PACE
Co-trainer C Dalgety advised Stewards on 24 July RUSHKINOFF has recovered well from its last start confirming the gelding was not suited to racing parked for the majority of the race. Mr Dalgety added he will be giving consideration to making gear changes before the horse's next start.

Race 1   CONTINENTAL EVENT HIRE MOBILE PACE
THE HIGHWAYMAN - raced in the parked position from the 1000m and weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
WHOSDREAMINGNOW - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
COURTNEY ROSE - shifted outwards under pressure in the run home despite the efforts of driver J Dunn.
Race 2   AVON CITY FORD TROT
PLAYOFFS - broke at the start losing all chance.
KNOWING ME - began awkwardly. Broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Trotted roughly at various stages throughout. Weakened from the 700m.
ORIGIN - broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
TACTICAL BID - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m. Broke passing the 100m losing its chance.
HEARTBREAK HOTEL - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 500m hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CLOVELLY HILL - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m.
Race 3   THE TYRE GENERAL MOBILE PACE
MIKI BENNETT - broke as the start was effected hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JUSTCALLMEMIKI - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed notwithstanding the gelding had worked hard in the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and signs of muscle tie-up. Trainer H Cullen advised he would have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and will advise the results to Stewards.
JACK TAR - briefly hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
MOSSDALE MARGARET - held up for clear racing room in the middle stages of the run home.

BULLIT TRAIN - trotted roughly in the early stages.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
NATIVES INFERNO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m. Briefly locked wheels with IZIA near the 1400m.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - broke at the start losing ground. Driver S Thornley reported the mare had lay inwards throughout.
SPECIAL EFFECTS - broke near the 1800m hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 700m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
IT'S SO EASY - raced wide early.
IZIA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m. Broke passing the 1400m and briefly locked wheels with an outside runner losing ground. Broke again near the 900m losing all chance.
ONE EL - lay inwards rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
DANCING GLENIS - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1400m.

WOLF OF WALL STREET - lay inwards leaving the final bend contacting several track markers.
DARBY - raced wide early.
WESTAR MOLLY - lay outwards rounding the final bend causing driver B Hope some difficulty. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
MY TEN GUITARS - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1800m.
OBSESSION - co-trainer A Telfer advised Stewards the mare has been treated for muscle tie-up since last racing. Lay inwards passing the 300m briefly hampering an inside runner.
EBURY STREET - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide from the 800m. Briefly hampered near the 300m when an outside runner lay inwards.
Race 6   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE MAKING A SPLASH MOBILE PACE
JAY PEE SHENAY - the boring pole came adrift passing the 1200m. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
OCEAN OF TEARS - the required veterinary clearance was received.
DELTA KILO - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had over-raced at various stages during the running.
JAY R TOLKIEN - over-raced early stages.
ALWAYS BEE GEE - driver S Thornley reported a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
Race 7   STEVIE GOLDING FOR YOUR REAL ESTATE NEEDS MOBILE PACE
FERNZ GOLDY - weakened passing the 600m.
SKY ROCKET - over-raced throughout. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
EDDIE OSEI - paced roughly in the early stages. Weakened passing the 600m.
KIWI HERO - lay inwards rounding the first bend. Raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1800m. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
CHOCO LOU - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1600m.
BLACK MACH - raced three wide until reaching the parked position near the 700m.
COMMANDER BEN - raced four wide early and then three wide with cover from the 1950m and without cover from the 800m.
DANCING DESIRE - raced three wide with cover from the 900m.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
PURE COURAGE - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1400m. Weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised the gelding had worked hard through the early and middle stages and had over-raced which had taken its toll.
RAGING WHITEBAIT - raced three wide with cover from the 1600m.
Race 8   BOOK KING OF THE NORTH FOR $100K BONUS HCP TROT
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
KINK - paced shortly after the start having to be broken up by driver P Davis losing considerable ground before returning to its correct gait.
MASTER CLASS - broke after 100m losing ground.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS PACE
A false start was declared due to AMERICANO being unable to take up its correct barrier position.
JACCKA OPA - broke at the start losing ground.
FRANCO MESSI - broke at the start losing ground. Placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 200m.
ITSAMONEYMAKER - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the middle stages of the run home and again over the concluding stages. Driver R Harrison reported she did not activate the sliding blinds in consequence.
THE NIGHT FOX - broke at the start losing ground. Raced greenly near the 1200m and briefly shifted up the track. Briefly lay in near the 50m placing inside runner in restricted room.
PALATABLE - broke at the start losing ground.
AMERICANO - briefly lay out near the 50m placing outside runner in restricted room.
OCEAN BREEZE - placed in restricted room near the 50m when runners either side shifted ground marginally.
BLACK PEARL - tangled away. Lay in near the 200m placing an inside runner in restricted room.
FITZTHEBILL - driver S Tomlinson advised that the left side hopple shortener had failed to release.
Race 10   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. WINTER REWARDS MOBILE PACE
OPO - weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slightly elevated heart rate otherwise a normal recovery. Co-trainer J Thomas advised he will have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
LORD MUDRICK - when spoken to regarding the seemingly improved performance trainer C Butt advised the gelding had received an economical run and had benefited from a drop in class compared to recent races.
ARCHIE - held up early in the run home.
SPIRITUAL BLISS - over-raced near the 1400m when being restrained to obtain cover.
COUNTRY GOLD - raced three wide from the 1400m.
HI HOPES - weakened over the concluding stages.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
KENNEDY - driver M Williamson advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.
PATIRO - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
MILLWOOD GODDESS - raced three wide with cover from the 1400m.
