Trainer J Gray advised Stewards on 22 May that ATOMIC TRAVELLER has recovered well since last racing and will be sent for a short spell before resuming with the gelding's preparation.

Race 1   ARCHER & MORRIS FAMILIES TROT
SUNNY SON - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 350m.
EASY MCCARTNEY - broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
GAYTANA - broke briefly at the start. Broke again on several occasions during the running. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SOUTH PARK - over-raced middle stages.
Race 2   K B ELECTRICS MOBILE PACE
SWEET JOY - broke late in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. When spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the filly had tried to duck under the barrier arm which had caused her to break.
DAVID NIVEN - fractious prior to the start. Paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Dunn. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. When spoken to regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had raced greenly throughout proving difficult to steer.
MADAM RULER - hung inwards final bend striking track markers. Driver and stable representative S Thornley advised the mare was showing signs of a respiratory infection following the race and would now be sent for a spell.
PAT MACH - over-raced middle stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 3   GOODWIN CONTRACTING TROT
RACHMANINOV - held up early in the run home.
MUSCLYNN - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer/driver P Wakelin advised that despite being held up she was disappointed with the effort.
CABELLA NOIR - inclined to hang inwards racing around the bends. Weakened final bend.
MADELEINE STOWE - late scratching at 9.38am on Veterinary advice.
SILVERLININGS - broke after 150m losing all chance.
THE FOX - late scratching at 9.38am on Veterinary advice.
Race 4   KSTRUCT CONSTRUCTION LTD MOBILE PACE
IT'S ME - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
BETTORLINI - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards over the concluding stages and became awkwardly placed with the mare's hind leg contacting the sulky wheel of KING ARTHUR near the 50 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance driver R May advised the mare had been striking the sulky wheel discs during the running.
KALI B - over-raced middle stages.
KING ARTHUR - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
Race 5   BETAVET PACE
The start was delayed when the sulky on IT'S A SHAWTHING required attention.
IT'S A SHAWTHING - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
SCARED STIFF - broke at the start then hampered by a breaking runner. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
HIDDEN DESIRE - shifted inwards in the early stages tightening inside runners. Driver K Cox was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground. Ms Cox was warned for using her whip free of the rein on one occasion shortly after the start.
TAXMAN - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance the connections advised that the gelding may not have backed up from its last start at Ashburton on 15 May. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
REFORMED - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
Race 6   ANNE THOMPSON MEMORIAL GRADUATION FINAL (TROT)
EMILY - held up by a weakening runner final bend. Continued to be held up early in the run home and trotted roughly.
SHOW THE WAY - trotted roughly middle stages. Hung inwards striking track markers on the final bend when weakening hampering a trailing runner.
TI AMO BELLE - hung outwards passing the 250m and sustained a punctured sulky tyre after being contacted by OH NOVA LOVE.
OH NOVA LOVE - contacted the sulky wheel of TI AMO BELLE passing the 250m after that runner hung outwards.
RAINING IN MY HEART - weakened near the 900m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
CASHEM - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MISS MILLIE - lay inwards when being shifted wider on the track and broke near the 250m.
LIL MISS MUSCLES - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - broke briefly at the start.
PENELOPE HALL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
A LATE LATE PRESSY - over-raced early and middle stages.

MAGICAL MILES - briefly hampered passing the 1900m following a slight easing of the pace.

BLITZEM BROMAC - briefly hampered passing the 1900m following a slight easing of the pace. Weakened final bend.
AMBLESIDE DRIVE - briefly hampered passing the 1900m following a slight easing of the pace. Hampered near the 200m when LA SABINA lay outwards.
JUSTIN FUN - paced roughly racing into the first bend.
LA SABINA - briefly hampered passing the 1900m following a slight easing of the pace. Forced to race wide from the 800m. Lay outwards passing the 200m hampering AMBLESIDE DRIVE.
