Race 6 - AIRPARK CANTERBURY HANDICAP TROT
Driver I Cameron (PRINCE TEKA) admitted a misconduct charge under Rule 303(2) after he failed to remain in the Stewards room during an enquiry and used offensive language. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $500. Mr Cameron defended a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations alleging he had used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Cameron the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $200.
