IMPERIAL MAN - paced near the 400 metres and broke briefly when being restrained by driver B Orange.
INDURAIN - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start engagements at the request of trainer A Hoffman.
ONE MORE MOMENT - broke passing the 1000 metres losing ground. Held up briefly in the middle stages of the run home.

AARDIE'S CAPTAIN - weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
MACANDREW NAVIGATOR - paced roughly when forced wider on the track after the 1000 metres.
MAJOR BOND - weakened on the final bend.
SIR LANCELOT - hung outwards and paced roughly early. Over-raced through the middle stages. Again hung outwards in the run home and was unable to be shifted inwards to obtain clear running despite the efforts of driver M Williamson. Mr Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
FOXY ROBYN - weakened on the final bend.
GALLEONS CONTENDER - lay inwards on the final bend and was then hampered by a weakening runner.
