Race 1   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY TROT
There was a delay to the start due to a communication error advising the Starter of the all clear.
MY HOPE - hung inwards and trotted roughly rounding the bends. Weakened from the 400 metres and lay in contacting track markers.
ESCAPE THE PACE - driver S Phelan reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TOURMINATOR - broke shortly after the start and again after 100 metres losing all chance.
DIAMANT BLEU - back from its position at the start.
DELLARIO - back from its position at the start.
CRUISE CONTROL - hung inwards and trotted roughly rounding the bends. Weakened from the 400 metres.
DREAM OF YOU - slow to begin. Weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver D Balle advised that the gelding had trotted roughly throughout and had been disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the left fore leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
ASTERIA LAVRA - broke near the 1600 metres losing all chance.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in a break in the early stages.
Race 2   ALABAR MOBILE PACE
OHOKA CREED - driver J Stormont reported that he had been unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord breaking. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
DREAM PROSPECT - over-raced through the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover. Paced roughly passing the 1100 metres and had to be steadied resulting in the colt racing wider on the track. Continued to race wide without cover from the 1000 metres.
MIDFREW LUCRE - raced wide early stages.
FRANKIE J HOLDEN - raced wide with cover from the 1000 metres.
JONO B - lay in leaving the final bend contacting track markers.
HARRY KANE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 3   LONE STAR ALEXANDRA PARK HANDICAP TROT
SAFRAKOVA - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Junior driver N Delany was shown a replay and warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
ALANA - trotted roughly final bend before switching to a pace for a short distance and had to be steadied. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 300 metres.
MACKALI - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
BRO FAWKES S - crowded by an outside runner final bend. Weakened in the run home.
AEONIAN - trotted roughly in the run home.
GAZZA GALLEON - broke at the start losing ground. Trotted roughly throughout. Broke near the 300 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
JASINOVA - driver L Chin was shown a replay and warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home. Mr Chin was also reminded of his obligations to drive the mare out to the end of the race.
SACRED MOUNTAIN - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Over-raced from the 1000 metres. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver N Chilcott advised that the mare had worked hard in the middle stages and had been unsuccessful when challenging for the lead with the effort taking its toll.
CRAZY - permission was granted for the gelding to race in alternative colours. Broke at the start losing all chance stood down to trial satisfactorily on one occasion.
KIMKAR DASH - pre-raced warmed.
SPECIAL WAY - had to be steadied near the 1400 metres after a slight easing of the pace and shifted wider on the track after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of ISLA ELSIE. Hung inwards and trotted roughly final bend.
Race 4   LINCOLN FARMS MOBILE PACE
ARDEN VELOCITY - weakened leaving the final bend.
FOREVER A DANCER - held up until late in the run home.
NEYMAR - held up until late in the run home.
JOHN WAYNE - held up early in the run home. A side carrier broke during the running and fell to the track. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
EXECUTIVE BANNER - over-raced through the middle stages.
BET ON THE TIGER - over-raced early. Hung inwards and paced roughly rounding the first bend.
Race 5   DAWSON HARFORD LIMITED MOBILE PACE
ENJOY ME - held up final bend and early in the run home.
MIMI E COCO - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
ZARIAS - held up final bend.
HESASHORETHING - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly final bend.
CYA ART - held up early in the run home.

SLIPPERY MISTRESS - slow in the early stages. Driver N Balle was reminded of her obligations when failing to check in after the race.
