Race 1   FRASER MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
STORMS ACOMING - late scratching on veterinary advice at 2.50pm.
MOCCA FRANCY - lost ground leaving the back straight on the final occasion when the tempo increased markedly.
BREAK FREE - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and had to be steadied losing ground.
WITH ICE - tended to shift out in the run home.
Race 2   THANK YOU RAY DEMPSEY MOBILE PACE
CONOR MCGREGOR - weakened from the 700 metres.
CALI FRANCO - paced roughly near the 700 metres losing ground. Weakened passing the 500 metres.
TALIESIN - Driver B Orange reported that he had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer M House advised that he had only recently taken over the training of the horse which had been freshened after its last start. Mr House added that he had made several gear changes to the gelding and it had pleased him with its trackwork when preparing for today's race.
LECONTE - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
CONSTANCE CLAIRE - over-raced middle stages before being taken forward to race outside the leader. Weakened leaving the final bend.
ROCKNROYDON - lay in leaving the final bend.
BLAZE MAGUIRE - displayed poor barrier manners when parading prior to the start. Failed to leave the pre-race formation and score up with the remainder of the field checking SWEET CHEVRON with the gelding losing all chance and was retired from the race. Declared a non-runner by Stewards for unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Stood down to trial satisfactorily on two occasions from a mobile prior to resuming.
SWEET CHEVRON - checked by BLAZE MAGUIRE leaving the pre-race formation losing all chance and was retired from the race. Declared a non-runner by Stewards due to being denied a fair start.
Starter G Phillips was questioned regarding the score up and his reasons for failing to declare a false start. Mr Phillips advised that he was unaware of the interference to SWEET CHEVRON which was caused by BLAZE MAGUIRE leaving the pre-race formation and was of the opinion that both horses had failed to score up of their own accord. Mr Phillips further advised that he had issues with the radio communication between himself and Stewards and had been unable to hear Stewards attempts to advise him of the interference. After considering the matter, Mr Phillips was issued with a warning for failing to declare a false start.
Race 3   C A PENNY MARES SERIES PICK UP & WIN MOBILE PACE
MOP - over-raced during the middle stages. Weakened final bend.
SMOKINHOTCHEDDAR - raced wide early.
Race 4   THANK YOU TEAM 5 MILLION MOBILE PACE
CHA CHA B - broke for several strides racing into the first bend losing ground.
GREATEST SHOWMAN - held up final bend and early in the run home.
LORD VERDE - broke in the score up however was able to take up its position at the start. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Cameron advised that he was disappointed with the effort considering the run the gelding had received and could offer no explanation.
MAC'S TOMADO - raced wide early.
KHAL DROGO - raced keenly in the middle stages. Weakened late in the run home.
BODRUM BOY - out of position at the start. Driver S McCaffrey was issued with a warning.
Race 5   IPLEX / ECOLAB HAWERA CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
BOUDICA - swung outwards at the start checking outside runners. A warning was placed on the mare's standing start manners.
A TASTE OF HONEY - checked by an inside runner at the start.
PULL THE OTHER LEG - checked by an inside runner and broke at the start losing considerable ground. Raced wide without cover from the 1100 metres. Weakened final bend.
SIR BRIGADOON - fractious prior to the start. Stood on the mark before breaking losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners.
BAD MEDICINE - held up final bend.
TAIPO - reared at the start and broke losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners.
BETTERZIPPIT - broke at the start losing ground.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed the gelding's standing start manners.
NEW YORK MINUTE - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
LAST TANGO IN HEAVEN - hampered at the start by a breaking runner. Raced wide with cover from the 1100 metres.

MOSAIC ART - held up final bend and early in the run home.
MORRISSEY - over-raced and hung outwards rounding the first bend when being restrained to take a trail.
EDAMFAST - weakened in the run home.
ARTFUL LIVING - over-raced early when being restrained towards the rear.
ACESANDKINGS - back from the unruly position at the start.
Race 7   FESTIVAL NIGHT THURSDAY 'COME ALONG' MOBILE PACE
I WON'T BACK DOWN - crowded by an outside runner rounding the first bend and paced roughly. Held up leaving the final bend.
SPECIALE UNO - weakened final bend.
LETSGODANCING - hung inwards rounding the first bend crowding an inside runner. Hung inwards and paced roughly final bend when weakening.
Race 8   WELCOME BACK TO THE RACEWAY THURSDAY MOBILE PACE
SHEZSOMETHINSPECIAL - broke in the score up however was able to take up its position at the start. Raced fiercely in the middle stages when in the parked position causing Driver A Poutama considerable difficulty. Weakened passing the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
UNCHANGED MEMORY - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the racing manners of the gelding.
SCELTA UNO - weakened in the run home.
BENDER - raced wide early.
PETER FORSBERG - weakened final bend.
MELODY'S MISCHIEF - held up behind a weakening runner final bend. Lay out in the run home.
