Race 10 - 'DOWNBYTHESEASIDE' - WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 17 March that blood tests taken from MAYBE showed the horse to be suffering from a mild virus which has been treated with the horse continuing with its current preparation.

Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
VAN SHARD - driver R May advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
MAJOR GNP - broke in the score up checking inside runners with a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver B Orange elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. Hung inwards at various stages during the running causing driver B Orange some difficulty.
ANN SOPHIE - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Held up final bend.
TAKE A BOW - had to be steadied when awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of MAJOR GNP near the 1100 metres.
MAJOR ICON - lay inwards in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance of the well supported first starter driver S O'Reilly was unable to provide any tangible explanation and was disappointed with the effort.
Race 2   ALLIED SECURITY TROT
HARBOUR QUEEN - late scratching at 8am on veterinary advice.
ALI LINDENNY - late scratching at 9am on veterinary advice.
HOT TO TROT - broke near the 2200 metres losing considerable ground.
T BONE RAWHIDE - slow to begin. Driver C DeFilippi was warned for the manner in which he positioned his foot in the sulky during the running.
Race 3   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
LE POLE DANCER - driver R Holmes reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre racing into the first bend.
REGGIE GOLIGHTLY - over-raced middle stages.
GLORYS DELIGHT - struck the sulky wheel of LE POLE DANCER despite the efforts of driver J Morrison racing into the first bend after becoming awkwardly placed behind that runner due to a slight easing of the pace.
THE OPTIMIST - held up late in the run home.
Race 4   FAULKS INVESTMENTS MOBILE PACE
ACENTO - the required veterinary clearance was received. Weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Holmes advised the mare had to work too hard during the running with the effort taking its toll.
WOTSONYAMIND - raced fiercely and lay outwards in the latter part of the score up crowding an outside runner.
BETTOR GRUNTER - crowded in the score up by an inside runner and was slightly out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Curtin.
TEDS LEGACY - driver M Edmonds advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD FREE-FOR-ALL TROT (STANDING START)
MUSCLE MOUNTAIN - broke at the start losing all chance.
HEAVYWEIGHT HERO - Stewards will speak with driver C DeFilippi regarding the non activation of the sliding blinds on the gelding.
MATADEROS - co-trainers R & J Dunn were warned for failing to advise the gelding has had a wind operation since last racing. Hung inwards and trotted roughly final bend striking several track markers.
MIDNIGHT DASH - hung inwards final bend striking several track markers.
Stewards questioned driver C DeFilippi regarding the sliding blinds not being activated on HEAVYWEIGHT HERO. Mr DeFilippi explained that the cord had become entangled around the sulky shaft resulting in him being unable to activate them despite his efforts. Stewards accepted Mr DeFilippi's explanation however reminded him that he must notify Stewards at the earliest opportunity when gear is unable to be activated.
Race 6   NZB STANDARDBRED FREE-FOR-ALL MOBILE PACE
ALLAMERICANLOVER - had to be steadied when there was an easing of the pace near the 1500 metres.
BETTOR TWIST - co-trainers M Purdon & H Cullen were charged a $25 colour fee.
ONE CHANGE - driver R May was warned for the manner in which he eased the pace near the 1500 metres which hampered trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance trainer A Hoffman and driver R May both advised the gelding had to work too hard during the running with the effort taking its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
A G'S WHITE SOCKS - had to be steadied when there was an easing of the pace near the 1500 metres.
CLASSIE BRIGADE - had to be steadied when there was an easing of the pace near the 1500 metres. Driver J Dunn was spoken to advisedly for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Race 7   HORNBY LIQUOR HANDICAP TROT
BAXTER - began awkwardly. Broke near the 200 metres checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SODS LAW - broke at the start losing ground.
PRINCE TEKA - checked and broke near the 200 metres.
RED HARBOUR - broke at the start losing all chance. Driver C Thornley advised a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
LIGHT OF DA MOON - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke again near the 2100 metres losing further ground.
TEST THE BOUNDARIES - held up early in the run home.
REPEAT PAT - checked and broke after 100 metres when racing to the inside of SODS LAW and QUIK SHOT losing considerable ground. After taking initial evidence from driver G Smith regarding this incident the matter was adjourned by Stewards due to drivers S Ottley (QUIK SHOT) and J Geddes (SODS LAW) having left the course. Checked by a breaking runner near the 200 metres.
QUIK SHOT - trainer J Harrington was charged a $25 colour fee.
THE BLOSS - over-raced middle stages. Retired from the race near the 1300 metres after sustaining a punctured sulky tyre shortly after the start.
IDLE STUARTIA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
FIGHTING FIRE - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - checked and broke after 100 metres. Checked and broke again near the 200 metres.
Driver S Ottley (QUIK SHOT) admitted driving carelessly shortly after the start when dictating SODS LAW inwards checking REPEAT PAT and I DREAM OF JEANNIE. After considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Ottley's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 25 March up to and including 31 March 2022 (2 days).
Race 8   STORER MOTORS MOBILE PACE
CHEEZEL - crowded after 100 metres losing ground.
PERAKI SEELSTER - checked near the 900 metres.
JACK RYAN - slow to leave the pre-race formation after refusing to turn out with the remainder of the field. Broke briefly at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Shifted inwards near the 900 metres when insufficiently clear of PERAKI SEELSTER which was checked with the trailing GOT YOU COVERED and LIFES A BEACH also being checked. Junior driver B Hope (assisted by G Hope) admitted driving carelessly in this incident and after hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hope's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 23 March up to and including 3 April 2022 (5 days) and in addition imposed a fine of $400. Paced roughly final bend.
CHAL PATCH - retired from the race near the 1600 metres after breaking a hopple connecting strap. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
GOT YOU COVERED - checked near the 900 metres.
LIFES A BEACH - checked near the 900 metres. Weakened final bend.
Race 9   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
SNOW ROBYN - over-raced middle stages. Held up early in the run home. Driver T Chmiel advised the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
MATT MAJOR - hung inwards in the early stages of the run home and shifted into the passing lane before being immediately corrected by driver T Williams. The connections advised they would give consideration to making gear changes prior to the gelding resuming.
MANJIMUP - driver R Cameron was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SERG BLANCO - driver R Close advised the sliding blinds were not activated due to having the field covered.
ARTATAC - late scratching at 12.45pm on veterinary advice.
WHISKEY CAVALIER - paced roughly after 100 metres and had to be steadied.
MANHATTAN - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field.
