Race 1   PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL HANDICAP TROT
The start of this event was delayed for approximately 3 minutes due to notified Driver B Taylor (OUR GRACIE) being held up en route to the course.
VIVID NIGHT - broke approaching the first turn losing ground before settling. Broke near the 1850 metres when trailing the field.
STORMS ACOMING - tangled away. Lay in on the bends. Trotted roughly rounding the final turn.
PALISADE - broke near the 300 metres and failed to settle.
OUR PEGASUS PEARL - broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
MOCCA FRANCY - swung sideways at the start.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke entering the first turn losing considerable ground.
OUR GRACIE - broke near the 250 metres when at the rear.
THANK YOU - trotted roughly then broke near the 300 metres losing its chance.
LEESA CASTLETON - tangled away.
Race 2   OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY MOBILE PACE
AMOREENA - weakened final turn.
ICARUS FALLS - Driver J Abernethy advised that the near side sliding blind failed to activate.
BLAZE MAGUIRE - broke in the score up losing considerable ground and was placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 3   CARTOWN MOBILE PACE
CHEEKYGRIN - paced roughly at various stages.
SHARP LOU - Driver B Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
AURELIA COTTA - commenced to weaken from the 700 metres. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance.
SWEET CHEVRON - broke briefly in the score up and was back from the unruly position at dispatch. Hampered near the 1100 metres.
NELSON'S BOY - broke for several strides near the 1100 metres hampering a trailing runner when towards the rear. Paced roughly passing the 800 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 4   DOUG BRADLEY PAINTER MOBILE PACE
DRAMATIST - commenced to weaken from the 600 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance. Connections advised that they would be reconsidering the mare's future as a racing proposition.
SOUTHERN STORM - raced wide early.
HAMPTON - hampered near the 600 metres by a breaking runner. Weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned Driver B Taylor advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
GLITZ AND GLAM - over-raced middle stages.
THE ARTFUL DODGER - broke near the 600 metres hampering trailing runners and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
ROCKIN VA VA - hampered near the 600 metres by a breaking runner. When questioned regarding performance Driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
Race 5   CENTRAL ENERGY TRUST MOBILE PACE
RUN MASON RUN - Driver S O'Reilly advised that her offside tyre had punctured during the running.
GREATEST SHOWMAN - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to the rear. Weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver S Abernethy advised that he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
TASMAN TEMPEST - over-raced through the middle stages.
BOULTON HOME - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding performance Driver B Orange was of the opinion the gelding may have choked down. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 6   THE COBB MOBILE PACE
RORY MCILROY - checked entering the first turn. Weakened passing the 500 metres.
PAY ME VISA - broke racing into the first turn checking trailing runners. Weakened leaving the final bend. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
CALL SECURITY - checked and broke racing into the first turn losing ground.
THE SPORTSMAN - hampered racing into the first turn by a breaking runner.
PIIKI WHARA - checked racing into the first turn and had to take evasive action losing ground.
MORRISSEY - checked and broke entering the first turn. Weakened leaving the final bend.
ACESANDKINGS - severely checked and broke entering the first turn and was retired from the event.
Race 7   MANAWATU COUNTRY CUP PRELUDE (HANDICAP PACE)
CYA ART - broke briefly over the early stages.
KRUIZR - broke near the 1400 metres losing ground before settling at the rear.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - lay in rounding the turns and continued to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
Race 8   C A PENNY MARES SERIES PICKITUP & WIN MOBILE PACE
RACEY RACH - paced roughly near the 1200 metres. Had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.
CARRERA LUCIA - weakened from the 500 metres.
BETSTARS BLUE JEAN - weakened from the 500 metres.
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - Driver B Orange advised he had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SHEZSOMETHINSPECIAL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners.
