When questioned regarding the tactics he adopted on the final bend when electing not to utilise the Passing Lane Mr Ferguson advised the mare has a history of running out on the bends and in the run home and for this reason he elected to shift ground outwards when an opportunity presented itself leaving the final bend. | |
