Race 1   THE CROSSING MOBILE PACE
CORFU BROMAC - weakened final bend.
SOUTH SEAS ROCK - over-raced from the 1000 metres.
HUTASA - had to be steadied near the 1600 metres when runners ahead shifted away from the marker line resulting in a slight easing of the pace.
HEY TONIGHT - trainer B Ward was issued a warning for presenting the mare to race with a whip which had not been notified.
TWICE SHY - driver J Dunn was warned for being late to arrive at the start area.
HEAT SEEKER - had to be steadied near the 1600 metres when runners ahead shifted away from the marker line resulting in a slight easing of the pace. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
MAMMA MIA - had to be steadied near the 1600 metres when runners ahead shifted away from the marker line resulting in a slight easing of the pace. Weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Trainer J Gameson advised Stewards on 11 February that MAMMA MIA will be freshened prior to resuming.
Race 2   NEVELE R STUD (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE TROT
READY I AM - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver Z Power reported she was unable to activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds due to the cords becoming entangled.
MONARO MAKO - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke after 150 metres losing considerable ground.
HARBOUR QUEEN - trotted roughly in the run home and had to be steadied near the 100 metres.
ROYAL DIEDRE - raced wide early.
AIGUILLE - trainer K Townley was warned for failing to have mudguards fitted. Raced wide early.
SONOMA TYRON - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer P O'Reilly advised the mare had benefited from a good run tonight after racing without luck in recent starts.
KENNY KEKO - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver M Hurrell. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced wide from the 700 metres.
GLOBAL FLIGHT - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ROGIE FALLS - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding
HEAVENLY STRINGS - trotted roughly in the run home.
TRIXTON TIME - pre-race warmed. Raced four wide from the 550 metres.

Race 3   NZB STANDARDBRED FILLES & MARES MOBILE PACE
ANGEL OF MONTANA - weakened from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of muscle tie up. Trainer S Anderson advised he will have blood tests taken in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
CLASSY DANCER - hung outwards throughout the run home when utilising the passing lane and became awkwardly positioned behind the sulky wheel of SHOW ME HEAVEN near the 75 metres before contacting sulky stays with that runner late in the run home.

ADIEU FLIRT - the connections advised the mare would be racing in foal. Broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
WHO MADE WHO - over-raced middle stages.
Trainer S Anderson advised Stewards on 21 February that bloods taken from ANGEL OF MONTANA after last racing had shown signs of muscle tie up which had been treated with the mare continuing with its current preparation.

MICKEY D - weakened leaving the final bend. Driver T Chmiel was warned for using his whip when out of contention.
RAKERO BLAZE - late scratching at 11.30am on veterinary advice.
SOARING - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke again near the 1300 metres.
DRAGONS SUNRISE - trotted roughly in the run home.
SON OF THE CLEANER - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 1500 metres and the 800 metres losing all chance and was retired from the event.
Race 5   HRS CONSTRUCTION PACE
MARK DUNNETT - held up until late in the run home.
CLASSEY ROBIN - broke at the start hampering trailing runners before shifting up the track checking KOWHAI MAGIC. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced middle stages.
BROTHER JOHN - came together with KOWHAI MAGIC at the start and briefly locked sulky wheels with driver G O'Reilly becoming unbalanced.
KOWHAI MAGIC - came together with BROTHER JOHN at the start and briefly locked sulky wheels with that runner and broke. Checked shortly after the start losing further ground. Held up throughout the run home. Driver T Chmiel reported the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
EL SIRRAR - held up throughout the run home. Driver K Cameron advised the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
ANGUS - broke briefly at the start.
WINEGUM - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver C DeFilippi was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
COME TOGETHER - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Held up until late in the run home.
MOSAIC ART - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
Race 6   COMMODORE HOTEL HANDICAP PACE
BENSONS MATE - paced roughly racing into the first bend and had to be steadied. Paced roughly again near the 1100 metres. Weakened final bend. Trainer C Jones was reminded of his obligation to notify the person in charge of his horse in his absence.
Race 7   WOODLANDS STUD HANDICAP TROT
HEAVYWEIGHT HERO - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 8   XCM PACE
SHEEZA PURLA - broke at the start. Held up final bend.
HE'S A JACKALACK - broke at the start. Broke again when leading near the 100 metres checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver R Close reported the gelding had been laying inwards in the run home and he would be recommending gear changes.
LET'S GO RINGO - held up middle stages of the run home. Checked and broke near the 100 metres. Driver C DeFilippi reported he sustained a flat sulky tyre.
WATCHING OUR COIN - driver M Edmonds reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
GANA - when spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer/driver J Curtin advised that the gelding had been racing without luck in recent races and had responded well to the addition of blinds tonight. Mr Curtin was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BUENA VISTA - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and signs of muscle soreness. Stewards questioned driver J Cox regarding the tactics he adopted during the race when allowing his horse to establish a significant lead on the remainder of the field through the early and middle stages. After taking initial evidence from Mr Cox, Stewards adjourned the matter for further consideration.
GRINNING AGAIN - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
ATOMIC TRAVELLER - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Badly held up leaving the final bend before breaking near the 200 metres when shifting ground abruptly to avoid the sulky wheel of a weakening runner.
ELOEL - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Driver J Cox admitted a breach of Rule 868(2) in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure BUENA VISTA was given full opportunity to win or obtain the best possible placing by failing to ease his mare to allow it sufficient respite between the 2000 metres and 1200 metres which enabled the horse to establish a significant lead over the remainder of the field before weakening on the final bend. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Cox's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 13 February up to and including 27 February 2022 (5 days).
Race 9   PAUL RENWICK JONERY MOBILE TROT
SODS LAW - broke near the 150 metres hampering trailing runner.
JAKARTA - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TIME UP THE HILL - hampered by breaking runner near the 100 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver R May advised he had been forced to race four wide shortly after the 1000 metres and had lost ground when being restrained in an attempt to regain cover. Mr May added he had been unable to improve his position due to the tempo of the race and was then hampered late in the run home.
IDLE STUARTIA - trainer R Austin was warned for failing to having mudguards fitted.
ANDOVERLOV - broke near the 700 metres losing all chance.
PHOEBE IMPERIAL - broke over the concluding stages. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
RAZORS EDGE - out of position at the start. Driver J Geddes was issued a warning.
MOTOR MOUTH - over-raced middle stages.
MANJIMUP - held up early and middle stages of the run home and paced roughly.
