Race 1   THE CLUBHOUSE HOLE IN 1 CHALLENGE SUNDAYS MOBILE PACE
MAGIC THOMPSON - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
HEY BARTENDER - unsuccessfully contested for the lead in the early stages. Raced greenly in the back straight on the final occasion and in the run home despite the efforts of Driver J Stormont.
MAJOR THOMAS - weakened from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer A Drake stated he was disappointed with the performance even considering the horse had worked hard in the early stages to maintain the lead given the gelding had trialled well leading into the race.
THE FISHERMAN - when questioned regarding the improved performance Driver T Mitchell stated the gelding had responded well to the addition of a Cornell Collar.
MR WONDERFUL - paced roughly for a distance passing the 900m.
BETTERTHANYOUTHINK - raced keenly middle stages. Weakened from the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
Race 2   BLACK DOG FURNITURE TROT
RUMOUR HAS IT - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again passing the 800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
QUIK BARBIE - broke passing the 1200m losing ground. Weakened passing the 500m.
KRISTOFFERSON - Driver A Poutama was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home.
WINNERS TIME - Driver A Neal was issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
COMMANCHERO - switched to a pace near the 400m and was immediately restrained by Driver N Delany losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
UNCLE LOUIS - Trainer C Wigg was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding with blinds that had not been notified. Broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground.
MERKEL - fractious prior to the start and briefly lost its footing. Raced wide early and middle stages. Broke passing the 1150m losing ground. Weakened passing the 500m.
DEL SHANNON - fractious prior to the start. Back from the Unruly position at the start.
Race 3   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
DALVEY ROBYN - Driver M McKendry admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300 metres when shifting ground outwards checking HEZASHADOWPLAYA which broke. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McKendry's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 3 February up to and including 6 February 2022 (2 days).
TOMMYSONAROLL - weakened in the run home. Trainer M White advised that he was disappointed with the effort and would be having blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days. Stewards will follow up with the results.
LILLIBURLERO - raced wide from the 650m. Driver K Marshall was warned for the manner he drove passing the 200m when crowding an inside runner which made contact with his sulky wheel.
MOZZARELLA - raced lethargically in the early stages. Held up final bend and over the concluding stages.
MELODY'S MISCHIEF - held up final bend.
MAYA ANGELOU - held up passing the 300m.
HEZASHADOWPLAYA - over-raced racing into the first bend and broke after becoming awkwardly placed to the sulky wheel of HIGHVIEW JUSTICE. Checked and broke passing the 300m losing ground.
SHEZA ROSE - crowded near the 200m and paced roughly after making contact with the sulky wheel of LILLIBURLERO.
BET ON THE TIGER - when questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the colt in the coming days.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD 2022 YEARLING DRAFT MOBILE PACE
MAHIA DREAMIN - broke at the start shifting out hampering an outside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
KATIES PRINCESS - hampered by an inside runner at the start.
MIKI MONTANA - Driver D Butcher was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to have his helmet securely fastened during the running.
LETSGODANCING - raced keenly middle stages.
PACING HOPE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
BETTERTHANDIVA - raced wide early. Forced wider from the 600m.
TASTE OF DIAMONDS - Co-Trainers S Reid & S McMullan were issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the filly with an anti-choke device which had not been notified. Raced erratically in the early stages when being restrained to the rear. Lay inwards on various occasions during the running. Over-raced middle stages.
MAJOR GRACE - hampered at the start by a breaking runner. The outside number detached during the running and hung loose.
BISOU LANCOME - broke briefly late in the score up. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the right front leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
Race 5   BARRETT HOMES CAMBRIDGE CLASSIC (MOBILE PACE)
SOUTH COAST ARDEN - lay in at the start and paced roughly for several strides having to be corrected. Driver B Mangos advised that he elected not to activate the removable deafeners.
Race 6   IKE UNSWORTH BAYLEYS TROTTERS GOLD CUP HEAT 3 (HCP TROT)
ALANA - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
GAZZA GALLEON - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Lay in contacting several track markers near the 800m which were dislodged. Again hung inwards near the 300 metres and broke after contacting track markers and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
ROMEO FOXTROT - broke shortly after the start but soon settled. Trotted roughly on various occasions. Weakened from the 400m. Trainer A Bublitz advised that the gelding had shown signs of soreness following the race and would undergo veterinary treatment. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
LEESA CASTLETON - weakened final bend.
B K MERLOT - stood on the mark losing all chance. Taking into account the delay to the start a final warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
ELEGANT PEAK - Trainer B Mangos was issued with a warning for presenting the mare to race with fixed deafeners which had not been notified.
Race 7   BETAVET CAMBRIDGE PACERS GOLD CUP HEAT 3 HANDICAP PACE
ENJOY ME - broke at the start and soon settled. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MAHIA - broke at the start and soon settled.
BROOKIES JAFFA - broke at the start losing ground. The gelding was placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the Trainer's request.
OHOKA ACHILLES - tangled away.
PULL THE OTHER LEG - the outside number detached near the 100m and hung loose.
NEW YORK MINUTE - began awkwardly and shifted outwards at the start inconveniencing ROUGH AND READY. Shifted up the track on straightening for the run home.

Race 8   BROGDEN FILLIES AT THE SALES MOBILE PACE
TICKING OVER - weakened in the run home.
THE SPORTSMAN - held up early stages of the run home.
MR IBIZA - Driver T Mitchell advised he did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
SUSIE REIGNMAKER - raced keenly in the middle stages.
GLENTHORNE - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear.
Race 9   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
BETSTARS BLUE JEAN - weakened final bend.
MALAKA MISS - weakened final bend. Driver T Cameron advised that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1800m.
COTTON SOCKS - raced wide early. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
SUPERSEDE - paced roughly final bend when improving wide on the track losing ground. Driver B Butcher will be spoken to regarding his use of the whip in the run home.
JUJU MAMA - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
SWEET TREAT - over-raced and hung outwards near the 1800m and made contact with the sulky wheel of MALAKA MISS despite the efforts of Driver K Marshall. Broke near the 1700m after a side carrier came adrift and was retired from the race. Trainer K Marshall was found not to be at fault with no further action deemed necessary.
Race 10   WIN A TRAVEL VOUCHER AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HCP TROT
VALEGRO - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Broke passing the 800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
TRIFOLIUM - held up early in the run home.
JAY ROWE - raced wide early stages. Broke passing the 75m before settling just prior to the finish line. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Stewards lodged a protest against the 4th placing being awarded to the mare alleging it had broken in excess of 50m in the final 200m of the race. The connections did not contest the protest and JAY ROWE was disqualified by the Adjudicative Committee. Driver Z Butcher advised that the half hopples broke in the run home. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
PRESIDENTS TOPSHOT - raced wide early stages. Weakened passing the 500m.
MY HOPE - held up early in the run home. Broke passing the 100m. Driver D Balle admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 100m when allowing his mare to strike the sulky wheel of DEBBIE LEE GALLEON and broke in consequence. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Balle's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 3 February up to and including 11 February 2022 (3 days).
TRUE BELIEVER - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners record.
SLY PUNTER - commenced to weaken from the 500m.
