Junior Driver N Delany (SMOKINHOTCHEDDAR), assisted by J Abernethy, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip excessively and with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight. After considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400. |

ROCKNROYDON - broke at the start and was taken to the outside of the track where the mare then fell after kicking out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Subsequently stood down to complete one satisfactory trial. | |
