PYRAMID MYSTIC - driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SON OF MAJESTIC - broke near the 350 metres.
MIXED FAITH - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance.
TEASE MY TARTAN - held up passing the 450 metres.
NUBLIAH CHAMAY - broke at the start losing ground. Checked by a breaking runner near the 400 metres.
PETRONELLI GEE - checked by a breaking runner near the 400 metres.
THE BRONX BOMBER - trainer T Robertson advised this mare would be racing in season. Broke rounding the first bend losing all chance.

EDGE SHEERAN - broke as the start was effected, checking a trailing runner and losing ground. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Over-raced in the middle stages. Weakened on the final bend.
PETE'S DASH - hung inwards rounding the bends.
ARLO MAGUIRE - over-raced in the middle stages. Briefly crowded racing into the final bend. Held up until late in the run home.
DARK RAGE - lay inwards racing into the final bend briefly crowding an inside runner. Paced roughly in the run home.
CHANGEAROUND - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke in consequence, losing ground. Over-raced in the middle stages. Held up on the final bend.

MAJESTIC ROLLON - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Driver B Orange reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HARRY STAMPER - trotted roughly in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Raced greenly and trotted roughly on various occasions. Again hampered on the final bend by a weakening runner.
MISS JESSICA - broke passing the 1200 metres hampering trailing runners and losing all chance.
EILISH HALL - raced wide through the middle stages. Weakened on the final bend.
DWINDLE STAR - broke near the 200 metres.
SUPERFAST GORSEY - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres.
PORT PEGASUS - raced wide without cover from the 1300 metres. Weakened on the final bend.
DANANGUS FELLA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Junior driver S O'Reilly reported that the left sulky tyre had deflated during the running.

MICKEY JAY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
Race 4   LAKE ROXBURGH CONTRACTING/SGT DAN STOCKFOODS MOB PACE
RAKAJED - lay inwards in the early stages. Raced three-wide without cover from the 1100 metres.
TWO THUMBS UP - weakened on the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery.
SEARING LIGHT - over-raced in the middle stages. Held up on the final bend by a weakening runner.
STILTON LORD - fractious and slow to leave the pre-race circle, then broke briefly in the score-up however recovered to be in its allocated barrier position at the start. Hung outwards and paced roughly rounding the first bend. Under pressure from the 800 metres. Hung inwards when weakening on the final bend. Driver T Robertson was warned for using his whip on a runner out of contention.
PHIL'S LAST CHANCE - paced roughly in the run home.
Race 5   REMARKABLES ORCHARD/STHN HEIGHTS SHEARING MOBILE PACE
AIRIES GOLD - weakened from the 600 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
MARSHMELLOW MILLIE - raced wide without cover from the 1000 metres.
SEE ME NOW - raced wide in the early stages. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 600 metres.
SWEDISH STARLET - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600 metres. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
CASABLANCA - lay inwards near the 1300 metres contacting track markers. Lay inwards again in the run home.
Race 6   van der VOORT FAMILY/HARLIWICH HOLDINGS MOBILE PACE
NYLA - raced greenly in the early stages of the run home and shifted up the track having to be straightened by driver M Williamson, then continued to lay out for the remainder of the home straight.
VINTAGE ROSE - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of NYLA near the 1300 metres when there was a slight easing of the pace and had to be steadied. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
VALYNDA - when asked to comment on the performance stable representative T Dewe advised that the mare may not have backed up from its previous start at Gore on 27 December. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse with trainer M House in the coming days.
The connections of VALYNDA advised that the mare has recovered well following her run at Roxburgh and will continue with the current preparation.
Race 7   MARSH'S HONEY/MORRELL SHEARING/MARK REID DRILLING MOB PACE
FRANCO JUNE - weakened on the final bend.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
BENDER - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
KOWHAI SHADOW - broke rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners and losing all chance, eventually being retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a minor laceration to the left front quarter.
THE HORNET - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
CALICO HILL - lay inwards in the score-up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of junior driver T Dewe. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FRANCO MACHO - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Junior driver G Thornley reported she did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MEOHMYMARTINI - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
Race 8   BEARING REPLACEMENTS/NEVELE R/MACCA LODGE HEAT (MOB PACE)
MARY AUSTIN - lay outwards in the score-up hampering an outside runner and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke racing into the first bend when positioned to the inside of PRINCESS POPSICLE losing ground. Stewards spoke with drivers J Morrison (MARY AUSTIN) and J Douglas (PRINCESS POPSICLE) regarding this incident where it was established that MARY AUSTIN had hung outwards despite the efforts of Mr Morrison and struck the sulky wheel of PRINCESS POPSICLE. Accordingly no further action was deemed necessary. Lay inwards and paced roughly throughout the run home.
PRINCESS POPSICLE - crowded late in the score-up and was back slightly at the start. Contacted by an inside runner racing into the first bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
Race 9   PETERS GENETICS ROXBURGH CUP (HCP PACE)
ARTATAC - over-raced in the middle stages.
Race 10   KEA WAI BUILDING LTD HANDICAP TROT
MAUI - hung outwards rounding the final bend.
JAKARTA - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered passing the 1200 metres by a breaking runner. Crowded and struck a track marker on the final bend when held up.
WINNING BONES - junior driver K Tomlinson will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner she drove near the 1000 metres.
JASMINE JACCKA - crowded near the 400 metres when weakening. Junior driver T Larsen was shown the films and warned for the manner he drove near the 1000 metres when half carting.
SUNNIVUE PHILEAH - broke near the 1200 metres hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
FOREIGNER - weakened on the final bend hampering trailing runners.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - broke near the 1200 metres losing all chance and was retired from the race.
AFTERBURNER - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Lay inwards on the final bend.
SIOUX PRINCESS - lay inwards on the final bend.
BELISMA - hampered by a weakening runner on the final bend.
MISSALYSSA - shifted outwards in the home straight when being driven out. Junior driver S O'Reilly was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.

Race 11   COMBINED SPONSORS MOBILE PACE
AMERICAN MAC - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened on the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with trainer S Breen in the coming days.
ESPECIAL - over-raced in the middle stages. Broke near the 400 metres.
DOCTOR TIM - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.
FIREBALL - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
Trainer S Breen advised Stewards on 13 January that AMERICAN MAC has recovered well following its run at Roxburgh with Mr Breen of the opinion that the gelding had not travelled well with this contributing to the performance.
