HAKA PRIDE - broke in the score up losing ground. Broke briefly again shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
UNIQUE MARSHALL - broke racing over the crossing near the 1700 metres and was taken to the outside of the track losing all chance.
UNCLE LOUIS - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on this runner's barrier manners. Stewards withheld authorisation of third place until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation after breaking at the start.
DORIS RAE - Driver A Matthews was spoken to advisedly for using her whip once free of the rein in the home straight.
OUR GRACIE - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Broke passing the 150 metres and continued on in a gallop to the finishing line.
THE HULK - out of position at the start. Driver J Abernethy was issued with a warning. Raced wide early stages.

There was a delay to the start due to MANNY requiring a gear adjustment.
PENNYS FIRST FLIGHT - broke racing into the first bend checking several trailing runners but soon settled. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Weakened passing the 500 metres.
BLAZE MAGUIRE - fractious prior to the start and back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Severely checked by a breaking runner near the 1700 metres and broke losing all chance.
FASCINATE - checked and broke briefly racing into the first bend.
WHERES THE GOLD - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and as a consequence raced wide early. Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into the gelding being presented without the notified removeable deafeners.
LECONTE - paced roughly in the score up losing ground and was back from position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Checked by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke losing ground. Paced roughly and broke passing the 400 metres losing ground before settling.

GLEN ELGIN STARA - underwent a pre-race veterinary check as the mare had not raced for 12 months. Broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the horse's barrier manners.
SIPOWICZ - weakened final bend.
HELLOFASPORTSTAR - lay in when improving forward three wide without cover in the middle stages before briefly reaching the lead near the 900 metres. Broke near the 700 metres when trailing the leader after a slight easing of the pace hampering trailing runners and losing its chance.
ROCKNROYDON - lay in rounding the first bend.
LAVISH ART - hampered by a breaking runner near the 700 metres.
BLACKADDER - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the horse's barrier manners.

ALEXIS ROCKET - held up for clear racing room until passing the 100 metres.
BOULTON HOME - raced wide in the early stages before improving to the parked position near the 1600 metres.
