Race 1   HAVE YOUR PARTY WITH US, HIRE A VENUE AT CR TROT
QUIK SHARNIE - gave ground from the 700m.
TRIFOLIUM - over-raced when racing in the parked position through the middle stages. Weakened final bend.
SHAKEMJENNY - broke at the 1150m when leading and was taken to the outside of the track to clear trailing runners and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the filly's racing record.
ESCAPE THE PACE - held up by a weakening runner near the 400m.
QUIK BARBIE - Driver M White reported that he did not activate the removeable deafeners due to having the field covered.
LUVSA COLD ONE - broke at the 800m losing all chance.
PRESIDENTS TOPSHOT - held up final bend. Broke approaching the 100m. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
AEONIAN - slow to begin and trotted roughly through the early stages. Broke rounding the first bend losing its chance.
CRUISE CONTROL - raced wide from the 1200m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
MERKEL - raced wide in the early and middle stages.

PACING HOPE - over-raced in the middle stages. Raced four wide from the 800m after being forced wider on the track.
MILLIES SENSATION - Trainer M Berger was issued with a $100 a Minor Infringement Notice when presenting the filly with removable deafeners and not the notified fixed deafeners.
LILLIBURLERO - over-raced in the score up and again in the early and middle stages.
TASTE OF DIAMONDS - over-raced and lay in throughout.

BRIENNE - lay in rounding the bends. Weakened passing the 400m.
MOCCA FRANCY - raced wide early stages.
LOVE ON LINE - Driver D McGowan reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners on the filly due to the cord breaking. The gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
RUMOUR HAS IT - broke near the 800m losing all chance.
SACRED MOUNTAIN - over-raced in the middle stages.
CYCLONE LUCKY LINDA - raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
BETTERTHANYOUTHINK - over-raced middle stages when trailing the leader. Weakened in the run home.
WHIZ ON BYE -crowded shortly after the start. Paced roughly rounding the first bend losing ground. Again paced roughly losing ground near the 700m.
HEZA PLAYER - shifted in shortly after the start and crowded WHIZ ON BYE. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer/Driver J Robinson reported that the gelding was able to capitalize on a good barrier draw and set its own terms in front throughout.
KNIGHTS STRIDE - paced roughly near the 300m losing ground and weakened thereafter.
ARTFUL LIVING - late scratching at 7.40am with a satisfactory explanation provided.
THE FISHERMAN - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
SLY TERROR - Driver J Stormont was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home.
HELLOFASPORTSTAR - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Broke again near the 250m and shifted up the track losing all chance. It was established that the nose flap had detached rounding the final bend which placed the gelding at some disadvantage.
CLAUDE - over-raced briefly near the 1400m.
Race 5   AGROWQUIP TROT
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
WHO'S QUEEN - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Lost contact with the body of the field when trotting roughly through the middle stages.
YEA YOU - made solid contact with the breaking DEL SHANNON near the 100m. Driver F Schumacher defended a charge issued under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Schumacher, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the charge and suspended his Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 31 December 2021 (2 days).
B K MERLOT - slow to begin then broke losing all chance and trailed the field throughout. The gelding was stood down from standing starts until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
DEL SHANNON - broke at the 200m and shifted up the track before being heavily contacted by the trailing YEA YOU which broke. Driver D Ferguson was examined by the St John Ambulance personnel and was cleared to fulfil his remaining driving engagements.
REIGN - raced wide in the early stages.
Race 6   MARK WAMBOLD MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
TUGAWAR - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Broke and shifted up the track passing the 1800m and in doing so locked sulky wheels with ELATED dislodging Driver N Delany. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
MISS YOU BROMAC - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record.
AMERICAN LEGACY - raced wide early stages.
LECONTE - checked and broke rounding the first bend losing ground.
ELATED - hampered rounding the first bend by breaking runners. Driver N Delany was dislodged from the sulky after TUGAWAR shifted up the track locking wheels with the gelding. Mr Delany was able to keep control of the horse after being dragged for a short distance and was retired from the event. Mr Delany was examined by the St John Ambulance personnel and cleared to fulfil his remaining driving engagements. A post-race veterinary examination of ELATED revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7   THE CLUBHOUSE HOLE IN 1 CHALLENGE EVERY SUNDAY MOBILE PACE
LADY LA SALLE - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's racing record.
MISS HATHAWAY - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home
OBSESSION - weakened in the run home.
MR KAPLAN - raced wide early stages.
Race 8   CHECK OUT THE CR HIRE EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR PARTY MOBILE PACE
MIGHTY MONICA - weakened final bend.
NORTHVIEW PEG - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained towards the rear of the field. Broke passing the 1150m losing considerable ground and was subsequently retired from the event. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
THE COBBLER - weakened final bend.
COS I CAN - improved three wide from the 1800m and was unable to reach the parked position which was occupied by JACCKA COOPER holding that runner wide thereafter. Weakened final bend.
BOW MACH - weakened from the 800m and was retired from the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
BERANI - paced roughly passing the 400m for several strides after making contact with the sulky wheel of MR PERFECT unbalancing its Driver D Butcher briefly. After viewing the replays it was established that BERANI had raced greenly when shifting outwards to improve its position and made contact with the sulky wheel of MR PERFECT despite the efforts of Driver T Hall. After considering the matter, a warning was placed on BERANI's racing record.
Race 9   WINGS WEDNESDAY AT THE CLUBHOUSE HANDICAP TROT
There was a delay to the start of approximately 6 minutes after MONKEY SELFIE reared and fell to the track.
ALANA - Trainer L Chin was issued a warning for presenting the mare without the notified blinds which were affixed prior to the start. Broke at the start losing ground. Checked and broke when attempting to avoid MONKEY SELFIE which had dislodged its Driver near the 300m.
BERRYLICIOUS BABE - broke at the start losing considerable ground and was retired from the event.
MONKEY SELFIE - became fractious prior to the start reared before falling to the track. The mare was examined by the Veterinarian and was cleared to start. The Starter sent the mare to the Unruly for the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Locked sulky stays with the breaking LADY BE GOOD near the 300m dislodging Driver N Chilcott who fell heavily to the track but was able to hold onto the mare. Ms Chilcott was examined by the St John Ambulance personnel and was cleared of injury.
LADY BE GOOD - broke near the 400m and continued in a gallop and shifted out locking wheels with MONKEY SELFIE near the 350m. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record. Trainer R Paynter advised Stewards following the event that the mare was suffering from muscle tie-up and would be treated accordingly.
PARAMOUNT KING - severely checked by a breaking runner near the 300m and had to shift ground abruptly which resulted in the near side sulky tyre coming away from the rim over the final stages placing the gelding at a disadvantage.
CREDIT MASTER - hampered on several occasions rounding the final bend when having to take evasive action and trotted roughly for a short distance.
DELSON - broke at the 600m losing ground. Driver D Ferguson advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to the gelding trotting roughly. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed that it had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 10   WIN A TRAVEL VOUCHER OVER SUMMER AT CR MOBILE PACE
CHRIS KYLE - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
ALLY MAE - weakened from the 600m.
HEZASHADOWPLAYA - broke rounding the first bend losing ground and settled at the rear. Weakened final bend. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an elevated heart rate and a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up the progress of the gelding with connections in the coming days.
NICHOLAS CAGE - briefly over-raced in the middle stages when leading. Weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Mitchell could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SHEZADEAL - broke near the 1050m when Driver D Butcher attempted to activate the removable deafeners with the cord becoming entangled in a hopple carrier. Taken forward to race in the parked position near the 800m.
GREATEST SHOWMAN - held up by a weakening runner passing the 600m.
BODRUM BOY - under pressure from the 700m losing ground before weakening over the concluding stages.
Co-Trainer J Teaz advised Stewards on 28 December that HEZASHADOWPLAYA has recovered well from its last start and has had a change of training regime and alterations to its shoeing prior to racing tonight.
Race 11   MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
HAPPY PLACE - over-raced passing the 600m. Held up early in the run home. Briefly contacted the sulky wheel of TASMAN TEMPEST near the 100m after hanging outwards when utilizing the passing lane.
CASINO ACTION - raced wide early and middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver A Poutama reported that the gelding had raced below expectations even considering the run the gelding had encountered. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
BAD MEDICINE - raced wide early and middle stages before improving to the parked position at 1000m. Driver T Mitchell was shown the replay and issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
FLEETING GRIN - raced wide from the 800m. Weakened passing the 500m.
Race 12   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND CAMBRIDGE XMAS CUP HANDICAP PACE
CYA ART - broke at the start but soon settled.
MELANION - broke at the start but soon settled. Lay in under pressure approaching the 400m and broke losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
ENJOY ME - weakened final bend.
HIGH POINT - tangled away.
CHA CHA B - broke and shifted out at the 150m checking LAST TANGO IN HEAVEN which lost ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
ACE STRIKE - broke shortly after the start shifted up the track losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
BETTERZIPPIT - forced to race four wide from the 900m before shifting into the running line near the 400m. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 150m.
PULL THE OTHER LEG - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LAST TANGO IN HEAVEN - raced wide from the 1100m before improving to race in the parked position near the 500m. Checked by a breaking runner near the 150m.
ROUGH AND READY - held up by a weakening runner passing the 600m.
KANGO - held up by a weakening runner passing the 600m.
TAIPO - weakened passing the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Mitchell advised that he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up with Trainer A Donnelly in the coming days.
Trainer A Donnelly advised Stewards on 20 January that blood tests taken from TAIPO after its last start revealed the gelding was suffering from a virus and has since been treated.
