SILK JACKET - broke after 250 metres losing ground.
RACEY KRUSA - broke after 100 metres and shifted inside track markers despite the efforts of driver A Lethaby losing all chance.
BRANDY AND DRY - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
KOSCIUSZKO - shifted outwards rounding the final bend when leading.
VERTIGO - trotted roughly in the early stages.
THE FIERY SPIRIT - broke near the 600 metres when improving wide on the track losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TRUEBLUE WAIHEMO - weakened over the concluding stages.
ROSE ISLE - broke near the 500 metres losing its chance.

MISTER BLUE SKY - late scratching at 1.07pm on veterinary advice after warming up lame in the preliminary. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
WHISKEY CAVALIER - driver K Cameron admitted using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
GET BACK - raced lethargically when unsuccessfully challenging for the lead near the 1800 metres. Gave ground final stages.
ROCK'N KIWI - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
MAXIMILIAN - weakened final bend.
Race 3   DARFIELD HOTEL/JFK HOMES LTD PACE
COME TOGETHER - late scratching due to track conditions.
HONEY FAVOURITE - broke at the start. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
CHEEKYGRIN - broke at the start. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in a break at the start.
PIIKI WHARA - broke at the start losing ground.
AIRIES GOLD - over-raced middle stages.
ATOMIC TRAVELLER - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend. Driver B Orange reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre in the middle stages.
PIECE OF GOLD - driver S Ottley reported she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 4   RAY MAYNE HOSE & FITTINGS TROT
DREAMSINTHE MIST - slow to begin. Trotted roughly in the early stages and had to be steadied. Weakened final bend.
MAKE MY SUNDON - broke near the 350 metres.
BELLA BUTTON - driver S Lethaby was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ZSAHARA - over-raced middle stages.
CLASSIC CALL - raced wide early stages.
DWINDLE STAR - raced wide early stages and broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
SHES SO RIGHT - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
MUSCLE BANK - late scratching due to track conditions.
MAGNIFIQUE DIMANCHE - hampered by breaking runners in the early stages of the run home.
MURANO - broke near the 300 metres.
Race 5   SMITH SEEDS LTD MOBILE PACE
SONGBIRD - lay inwards leaving the final bend and struck several track markers.
EXPRESSIVE LOVE - raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. Weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Tomlinson advised the filly had raced lethargically throughout. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the filly in the coming days.
BELLE'S BOY - hung outwards in the score up crowding an outside runner. Continued to lay outwards through the early stages.
TIMES ARE A CHANGIN - crowded by an inside runner in the score up and was back slightly at the start. Driver R Close was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SHEELASINLEAGUE - over-raced middle stages.
Trainer G Court advised Stewards on 15 December that EXPRESSIVE LOVE has recovered well following its run at Methven last week adding that in his opinion the filly failed to handle the track conditions.
Race 6   INGOLD BUILDERS LTD JUNIOR DRIVERS PACE
DONEGAL CARRICKFIN - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
LE POLE DANCER - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up early stages of the run home.
MISSMOLLYGOODGOLLY - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after kicking out causing the mare to fall in the preliminary and was cleared to race. Broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced throughout. Held up early stages of the run home.
THE BLACK SHADOW - weakened leaving the final bend. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
WHERE'S DADDY - driver M Hurrell was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home. When spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer M Purvis advised that the gelding had derived considerable benefit from its previous race after having a spell, had received an economical run throughout and had also benefited from the addition of sliding blinds.
Race 7   FASTTRACK INSURANCE GREEN MILE (MOBILE TROT)
TWEEDLEDEE - hampered by a breaking runner in the score up with a false start being declared. Broke as the start was effected losing ground. Broke again near the 400 metres losing all chance.
THE DOMINATOR - caused a false start after breaking in the score up and hampering an inside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
OSCAR BONAVENA - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after co-trainer M Purdon advised the entire had been suffering from a minor skin irritation and was passed fit to race after being pre-race warmed.
ONE APOLLO - broke near the 250 metres.
Race 8   METHVEN 4 SQUARE SUPERMARKET GREEN MILE (MOBILE PACE)
KISS THE GIRLS - locked wheels with IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH passing the 100 metres.
SHAN NOBLE - held up until late in the run home.
IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH - lay in under pressure near the 100 metres and locked wheels with KISS THE GIRLS. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer/driver M Purdon advised he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. The connections advised they will have blood tests taken and undertook to notify Stewards of the results.
HENRY HUBERT - raced wide early stages. Shifted out under pressure in the run home despite the efforts of driver J Dunn.
Co-trainer M Purdon advised Stewards on 15 December that IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH has been gelded following its performance at Methven last Sunday.
Race 9   BAYLEYS ASHBURTON MOBILE PACE
ELO LOUISE - held up early stages of the run home.
BETTER FLY - broke near the 1800 metres hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Hampered near the 550 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
PIALLIGO - raced wide early stages. Weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver G O'Reilly could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days regarding the gelding's recovery.
GLEN ELGIN TOMSON - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
WAVETHEBILL - raced erratically entering the home straight and shifted in when reacting to a dislodged track marker on the racing surface resulting in the gelding striking several track markers despite the efforts of driver R May.
ALENE - late scratching at 9.56am on Veterinary advice.
STAR REACTOR - briefly hampered leaving the final bend.
LUMINITE - raced wide early stages.
SCOTLYNN BEACH BOY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800 metres. Became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of ELO LOUISE near the 550 metres after a slight easing of the pace and had to be steadied.
MOTOR MOUTH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800 metres.
WILL HE ROCK - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800 metres.
SISTER'S DELIGHT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800 metres. Over-raced middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
SOMEDREAMSOMEWHERE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800 metres. Raced wide without cover from the 900 metres.
IMMER BESSER - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800 metres. Checked and broke near the 550 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
Co-trainer G Dunn advised Stewards on 15 December that PIALLIGO will no longer race from their stable.
Race 10   GLUYAS MOTORS / PLACEMAKERS ASHBURTON LTD HANDICAP TROT
MIKEMARO - late scratching due to track conditions.
DD'S SUPER STUART - trotted roughly in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner after 200 metres. Held up early stages of the run home.
NAVARA - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
CALL THIS FUN - broke after 200 metres losing ground. Raced wide from the 1000 metres.
TAKE AFTER ME - broke at the start before switching to a pace, having to be restrained by its driver losing its chance and was retired from the race.
MAJESTICAL - lay inwards final bend striking several track markers.
REBEL KIBBYBONES - raced wide from the 1000 metres.
HARRY POTTER - broke near the 900 metres losing all chance. Driver R Close reported the gelding had hung throughout.
SALLY LINDENNY - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
PRINCE TEKA - raced wide from the 1000 metres. Weakened final bend.
ZSA ZOE - raced wide early stages.
