Race 1   BILL PHISKIE CLERK OF THE COURSE TROT
THE FIERY SPIRIT - began awkwardly. Broke briefly near the 1600 metres losing ground. Trotted roughly in the run home before breaking again near the 100 metres.
SPEEDING SPIRIT - broke near the 400 metres and shifted inside the marker line to avoid trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DIEDRE FRANCO - broke near the 100 metres.
NORDIC PRINCE - raced wide early stages. Broke near the 1700 metres losing ground. Broke again near the 250 metres.
CASHEM - broke after 100 metres losing ground. Briefly hampered in the run home by an outside runner.
DRAGONS SUNRISE - raced wide early stages. Broke when racing over the crossing near the 1650 metres losing ground. Hung inwards and trotted roughly in the run home briefly hampering an inside runner.
SON OF A SUN - trainer D Simpson was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding to race with the incorrect saddlecloth number.
Race 2   MONICA TORRETTO PHOTOGRAPHER MOBILE PACE
BOBBY VINTON - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
GET KRAKEN - over-raced middle stages.
PURE COURAGE - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Thornley advised the gelding had been making abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer K James advised he would be making gear changes prior to the gelding resuming as he was of the opinion the horse may have choked down.
MAJOR WILSON - hung outwards and paced roughly for a distance when leading passing the 1600 metres and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver S Ottley.
MIKIS SHINEING STAR - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver S O'Reilly advised the gelding had appreciated a drop in calibre of opposition from recent racing and had received a favourable run throughout.
ROCK'N KIWI - paced roughly over the concluding stages.
LIFECHANGINGEVENT - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to the rear of the field.
THE TERRORIST - hung inwards throughout the run home.
NORDY STAR - hung inwards in the run home.
Race 3   OTAGO EQUINE HOSPITAL PACE
FLEETING MAJOR - hung outwards rounding the first bend losing ground.
WEBS REACTOR - broke at the start losing ground.
APACHE WARRIOR - trainer D Ottley was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding with blinds which had not been notified. Broke briefly after 100 metres.
FOLLOW ME FANTASY - broke near the 1700 metres losing ground. Hampered in the run home by an inside runner.
CAMLEIGH ROSE - broke at the start losing ground. Shifted up the track abruptly in the run home inconveniencing an outside runner.
CRYSTAL DAYTOM - driver R Close reported the mare had paced roughly throughout.

WAITE FOR MEE - paced roughly late in the score up.
ALL TOO WELL - briefly hampered by a breaking runner in the middle stages of the run home.
BONDI LUSTRE - broke in the early stages. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke again near the 150 metres hampering a trailing runner.

MAJESTIC ROLLON - broke briefly at the start. Broke again near the 500 metres losing its chance.
BOURBON ON THE ROCKS - trotted roughly in the run home.
HANOVER DA MOON - raced greenly passing the 1400 metres when attempting to improve to the lead and had to be steadied losing ground.
LINE A LOVE - trotted roughly throughout the run home and was not able to be fully driven out.
EMMA LOUISE - over-raced middle stages. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
MAJESTIC ROSE - broke at the start losing ground. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.

SKIDADDLE - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
WESTBURN BLISS - lay outwards in the run home.
KOWHAI SHADOW - began awkwardly. Driver S O'Reilly reported she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
CHARLIE'S ACE - hampered at the start.
PERCY - hampered at the start.
OMAR SHARIF - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Lay out when weakening in the run home.
BOULTON HOME - broke briefly at the start.
DELIGHTFUL GLORIA - trainer S Allen was issued with a warning for presenting the mare without the notified blinds.
SWAP OVER - slow in the early stages. Driver J Simpson was shown the films and issued with a warning for starting wider on the track than his allocated position.

TAIRLAW TOLL - paced roughly in the early stages and had to be steadied. Briefly crowded late in the run home when runners either side shifted ground marginally.
THE KAIK - weakened over the concluding stages. Driver K Butt was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
MAKASAR BOY - shifted inwards marginally late in the run home.
DODGETHEBULLET - briefly crowded late in the run home when runners either side shifted ground marginally.
PASSION AND POWER - briefly crowded late in the run home when runners either side shifted ground marginally.
SWEDISH FRANCO - over-raced middle stages. Held up for clear racing room leaving the final bend and contacted the sulky wheel of THE KAIK. Junior driver G Thornley (assisted by C Thornley) was shown a replay and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground.
JIMMY ARMA - over-raced middle stages. Shifted outwards marginally late in the run home.
Race 8   PLACEMAKERS MOBILE PACE
AVEROSS RUSTLER - weakened from the 800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
DUFFY HOLLOW - raced wide early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a very slow recovery with the gelding stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
BLACK OPS - over-raced early stages.
TERROR MARIA - raced wide early stages.
Race 9   WILLIAMSON RACING STABLES HANDICAP TROT
SUNNIVUE PHILEAH - trainer S Ashton advised the mare would be racing in season. Held up for the majority of the run home.
GREENBANK BETTY - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of SUNNIVUE PHILEAH near the 1500 metres after a slight easing of the pace and had to be steadied. Driver Z Power was shown the films for educational purposes regarding her decision not to improve wider on the track leaving the final bend when an opportunity existed.
FRANCO JOSIAH - broke shortly after the start. Broke again rounding the first bend losing all chance.
CODY BANNER - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Broke again in the run home.
MAJESTIC JAG - trotted roughly in the early stages of the run home when driver J Dunn attempted to utilise the passing lane and had to be steadied. Continued to trot roughly and was unable to be driven out with Mr Dunn advising he had not activated the removable deafeners due to this.
MAJESTICMITE - broke briefly at the start.

PETE'S DASH - held up early stages of the run home.
ARIELLA - raced wide early stages. Raced greenly in the run home and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver M Williamson. Mr Williamson reported he had not activated the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
WITH GRACE - raced wide throughout.
MARK DUNNETT - raced wide early stages.
KINGSDOWN ATOM - held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
SPICY GIRL BECQUI - raced wide from the 1400 metres.
MYRCELLA - raced wide with cover from the 1400 metres.
CONQUER ME - raced wide early stages. Locked wheels with HUCKABEE briefly leaving the final bend.

Trainer R Holmes advised Stewards on 11 January that CONQUER ME was re-served on 20 December and is now in foal.
