Race 1   BOMBAY - GIN & TONIC MOBILE PACE
BEST TRIO - paced roughly near the 150 metres and had to be steadied. Driver M Williamson reported he had not activated the removable deafeners as a result.
FASCINATE - over-raced middle stages.
HIKOI HINE - hung inwards rounding the final bend when weakening.
RANGER RICK - paced roughly for a distance after the start. Locked sulky stays with CUT N RUN late in the run home.
SIR MONTY - hung inwards rounding the final bend when weakening.
CUT N RUN - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver M Purdon. Paced roughly for several strides after 100 metres. Locked sulky stays with RANGER RICK late in the run home.
Race 2   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
HIRANYA - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend and struck several track markers.
MITSI GAYNOR - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Locked wheels with COVER GIRL momentarily near the 200 metres when shifting wider on the track in search of clear running.
REGGIE GOLIGHTLY - lay inwards racing into the first bend crowding an inside runner despite the efforts of driver G O'Reilly. Over-raced middle stages.
STYX SWEETIE - raced wide without cover throughout.
COVER GIRL - raced wide with cover throughout. Lay inwards leaving the final bend and locked wheels momentarily near the 200 metres with MITSI GAYNOR.
IDEALINGOLD - raced wide with cover throughout. Paced roughly near the 550 metres losing ground.
SNOW ROBYN - raced wide with cover from the 1200 metres.
OLIVER NORTH - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
LANCEWOOD LOUIE - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
FRANCO STEFAN - when questioned driver B Orange advised he had been unable to put his runner into the race due to the three wide line not improving and wasn't overly disappointed with the performance.
Race 3   BOMBAY - GIN SOUR TWO-YEAR-OLD MOBILE TROT
SASSY STAR - broke in the score up losing all chance.
PARAMOUNT EMPRESS - late scratching at 3.40pm on Veterinary advice.
HOT TO TROT - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start.
LA DAMA - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Broke near the 150 metres.
REGAL SIERRA - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the run but could offer no explanation.
MINNIE MCGOOGAN - shifted in on straightening for the run home when leading and had to be corrected. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and that the filly would be going out for a spell.
Race 4   COMMERCIAL DOOR SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - broke near the 400 metres and was taken up the track losing all chance.
ONE APOLLO - slightly inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 350 metres and broke losing all chance.
Race 5   BOMBAY - TOM COLLINS PACE
TAKEMYBREATHAWAY - broke at the start and trailed the field. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HILARIOUS PRINCE - late scratching at 5.35pm due to Trainer J Harrington being unable to attend the meeting with a satisfactory explanation.
MOTOR MOUTH - broke near the 1700 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
LE POLE DANCER - broke at the start losing ground.
BOOM - raced wide in the early stages.
PLAY PHILLY - trainer R Todd was issued a warning for presenting the filly without the notified blinds. Held up early in the run home.
ANGEL OF MONTANA - raced four wide briefly from the 700 metres.
CYRUS - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear.
Race 6   THE CROSSING - FASHION STARTS HERE MOBILE PACE
JACK RYAN - briefly dropped its head under the mobile arm late in the score up and was back marginally from position at dispatch. Over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly and raced greenly rounding the final bend.
SAMHARA - over-raced middle stages.
LAVER - late scratching at 9am on Veterinary advice.
IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH - the murphy blind was removed prior to the start after the gelding warmed up unfavourably. Authorisation of placings was withheld to enable co-trainer/driver M Purdon to view the replays of an incident near the 1350 metres when his runner raced four wide after STEEL THE SHOW had shifted out to a three wide position. It was established that driver T Williams (STEEL THE SHOW) had commenced his outward movement prior to IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH covering his sulky wheel and placings were duly authorised.
Race 7   GRANITE BENCHTOP COMPANY THREE-YEAR-OLD FILLIES MOBILE TROT
HARBOUR QUEEN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver G O'Reilly.
LIGHT OF DA MOON - broke briefly in the score up but recovered to be in position at the start. Driver R Holmes reported he had not activated the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ALDEBARAN FLOSS - restrained to the rear rounding the first turn.
TIME UP THE HILL - trotted roughly throughout the run home and could not be driven out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities other than evidence of the hind boots being struck.
WANNA PLAY WITH ME - late scratching at 12.30pm on Veterinary advice.
Race 8   HRS CONSTRUCTION HANDICAP TROT
BOSS KENNY - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the run home.
REPEAT PAT - broke after 100 metres losing all chance.
BLINK N BONES - broke under pressure near the 100 metres.
SODS LAW - weakened rounding the final bend.
MAJESTIC ACTION - over-raced middle stages. Driver G Smith had difficulty activating the removable deafeners when attempting to improve in the passing lane in the run home with the mare laying out and locking wheels with THE BLOSS over the final stages.
THE BLOSS - locked wheels with MAJESTIC ACTION over the concluding stages.
Race 9   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
OFF THE EDGE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BETTER'S TART - when questioned regarding the performance driver S McNally stated that apart from tending to lay in on the final turn he had been satisfied with the performance.
ACENTO - lay out under pressure when attempting to improve in the passing lane and locked wheels with SMART WATCH near the 70 metres.
FIRE FOX - over-raced middle stages.
SMART WATCH - raced wide in the early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Locked wheels with ACENTO near the 70 metres.
TAUMATA VC - raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened rounding the final bend.
SILK - raced wide with cover throughout.
DASHING MAJOR - baulked in the middle stages of the score up and was out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver K Newman. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide in the early stages.
EASTWOOD ISABELLA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
GIVEMEWHATINEED - raced wide with cover throughout. Over-raced middle stages.
