THE HULK - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
FUNNY FACE - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance Co-trainer/Driver D Ferguson stated that he felt the filly may not have backed up from its previous start. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.

BERANI - Trainer/Driver T Hall advised the colt had made an abnormal breathing noise during the running after having lost the tongue tie shortly after the start.
MR IBIZA - lay in momentarily entering the home straight and had to be corrected. When questioned Trainer/Driver T Mitchell advised that he was satisfied with the performance in what was the colt's first race for approximately six weeks given the fast last half recorded.
