Race 6 - RAGING BULL AT MACCA LODGE NUGGET FINAL (MOB PACE)
Trainer C Ferguson advised Stewards on 14 November that MAJOR SWEETART had x-rays taken which revealed fractures to both knees with the filly now being sent for a lengthy spell.

Driver K Barclay (WATTLEBANK STAR) defended a charge alleging that she drove carelessly near the 1500 metres when shifting ground crowding the racing room of the inside NUTCRACKER (C Ferguson) down onto EMMA STONE (K Tomlinson) which made contact with track markers and struck the sulky wheel of NUTCRACKER resulting in the tyre being punctured and coming off the rim. After viewing replays and hearing the evidence, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Mrs Barclay's drivers licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 3 December 2021 (3 days).

Race 1   ALABAR NZ MOBILE PACE
YOUNG GEORGE - when questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver C Ferguson explained the gelding had raced up to expectations and had received every opportunity.
HERITAGE - raced wide in the early stages.
SPEIGHTS ON TAP - out of position at the Candy Pole despite the efforts of driver B McLellan. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CARRERA DANCE - broke racing into the first bend when briefly jostling for a position. Weakened from the 700 metres. Driver R Stevens reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
BILLY BUCKET - raced wide without cover from the 1300 metres. Weakened on the final bend.
STUNIN STAR - improved four wide from the 600 metres before weakening leaving the final bend. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 2   FINDATRUCKLOAD MOBILE PACE
RAZOR SHARP - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
HUNTER ROBYN - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. Connections requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the the filly to be lame in the near hind leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
HENRY MAGUIRE - lay inwards throughout the run home.
TARTAN RAIDER - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
WALL STREET - weakened on the final bend. Driver S Ottley reported the gelding had worked hard through the middle stages to maintain the lead and this effort had taken its toll.
BOBBY VINTON - raced wide with cover from the 1300 metres.
LOU'S DEAL - raced wide with cover from the 1200 metres. Junior Driver R Heads reported she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking. The gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
STILL ROCKIN - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Driver K Barclay reported she had difficulty steering the gelding through the middle stages.
JACCKA WALLY - raced wide without cover in the middle stages. When questioned regarding the improved performance Driver R McIlwrick advised the gelding had been unable to make up ground on a fast pace when fresh up at its previous start, however, had derived considerable benefit from that run and he had been confident of a forward showing today.
THE JAFA EXPRESS - raced wide in the early stages.
FOXFIRE EASTON - raced wide without cover from the 1300 metres. Weakened on the final bend.
VAN LIBERTY - out of position at the Candy Pole despite the efforts of Driver B Orange. Raced wide with cover from the 1300 metres.

The initial score up was delayed when the boring pole on ELLZ ANGEL became detached.
LOOKOUT - Junior Driver M Hurrell was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ELLZ ANGEL - broke in the early stages of the score-up hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened on the final bend.
LOVEMAKENTIME - paced roughly and broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
CELTIC ABBEY - raced wide in the early stages.
COOL IDEA - hampered and broke in the score-up however was able to take up its allocated position at the start.
TASHS BAD GIRL - briefly hampered in the score-up however was able to take up its allocated position at the start. Again hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
SPORTING ROBYN - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
DOYAFEELUCKY - broke in the early stages of the score-up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Weakened from the 400 metres.
ROCK N DASH - raced wide in the early stages.
Race 4   A W KYLE BUILDER MOBILE PACE
MR MCLAREN - required a sulky change prior to the start after sustaining a punctured sulky tyre in the preliminary. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
TAD LINCOLN - raced wide in the early stages.
FIREFOREFIDDLE - raced wide in the early stages. Improved wide without cover through the middle stages.
SHE'S A DAGG - over-raced passing the 800 metres. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
MAN I'M GOOD - Driver A Kyle was warned for using his whip free of the rein in the middle stages of the run home.
ALEXIS ROCKET - raced wide in the early stages and without cover from the 1000 metres. Driver B Barclay was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the early stages of the run home.
VINTAGE ROSE - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver K Barclay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Continued to hang outwards throughout.

MISS JESSICA - Driver T Robertson was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BREAK OUT - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
ALLABOUTTHEMOMENT - broke at the start losing all chance.
PICKETTS RIDGE - weakened over the concluding stages.
Following the running of this race the official track conditions were upgraded to Good.
Race 6   JIM MCCONNELL/VI OVERTON MEMORIAL NUGGET FINAL (MOB PACE)
ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN - weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery. Stood down pending one satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
WONTHAVTIME - over-raced in the middle stages when racing in the parked position. Weakened from the 400 metres.
JUSTALITTLESIP - Driver P Hunter was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the middle stages of the run home.
THE OTHER BROTHER - raced wide without cover from the 800 metres. Paced roughly in the run home and had to be steadied.
Race 7   WINTON WORKOUTS GOLD CHIP FINAL (HCP TROT)
TEASE MY TARTAN - broke shortly after the start when leading and was taken to the outside of the track to avoid trailing runners. Weakened on the final bend.
PETRONELLI GEE - weakened from the 800 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
CHEEKY MONKEY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
MILLIE'S GIFT - broke in the early stages losing all chance.
DON AMECHE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Again broke passing the 600 metres.
LOVE IS EVERYWHERE - Trainer M House was warned for presenting this filly to race without the notified anti-choke device.
JACCKA WATCH - trotted roughly leaving the final bend when racing over a dislodged track marker.
SVELT - weakened on the final bend.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke rounding the first bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trotted roughly leaving the final bend when racing over a dislodged track marker. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking on the first bend.
BILL - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened on the final bend.
OUR PINOCCHIO - hung inwards and broke late in the run home and continued on in a break over the finish line. Stewards lodged a Protest against 3rd placing being awarded to this gelding alleging the horse was in the incorrect gait when its nose reached the finish line and was lapped on by INSIST THE WIN (4th) and CHEEKY MONKEY (5th). Junior Driver K Bublitz assisted by Trainer P Williamson did not contest and after viewing replays the Adjudicative Committee relegated OUR PINOCCHIO to 5th placing.
MICKEY JAY - broke near the 1200 metres losing all chance.
Race 8   SINCLAIR FAMILY MOBILE PACE
KAGEE VC - weakened on the final bend.
ONEDIN HURRICANE - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. Junior Driver E Barron reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre on the final bend.
WOLFENSTEIN - weakened on the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance Driver M Williamson reported the gelding had worked hard throughout to maintain the lead with the effort taking its toll over the concluding stages.
BETSTARS BLUE JEAN - held up on the final bend.
SHOW ME HEAVEN - held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
STAR REACTOR - over-raced in the middle stages when in the parked position. Weakened passing the 400 metres.
EMERALD ABBEY - held up on the final bend by a weakening runner.
LYNRYD SKYNRYD - over-raced in the early stages. Raced wide without cover from the 1500 metres.
TARTAN ROXY - when spoken to regarding the improved performance Trainer C Faithful advised the mare had been luckless at its previous start after being shuffled back to the rear of the field and had been unable to improve its position. Miss Faithful added the mare had capitalised today when able to progress forward with cover through the middle stages and she was not surprised by the effort.
FRANCO JUNE - struck the sulky wheel of ONEDIN HURRICANE when held up on the final bend after shifting ground outwards to avoid tiring runners.
Race 9   LATHER UP SPEED SERIES FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
AMERICAN EYRETIME - Driver B Barclay admitted using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home and was fined $200 by the Adjudicative Committee.
RAKANOTTA - raced wide in the early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1100 metres.
TRINITY STAR - connections advised the mare was suffering from muscle tie-up subsequent to the race and will be treated accordingly.
SWEDISH FRANCO - when spoken to regarding the performance Junior Driver G Thornley advised she had been unable to make ground due to the strong tempo throughout and considering this she was not disappointed with the effort of the mare.
CLOUDY BAY - held up on the final bend.
Race 10   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
MACANDREW AVIATOR - held up on the final bend.
DREAM OF GLORY - held up on the final bend.
BENSONS MATE - Driver B Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer C Jones advised the gelding was unsuited to the tight turning track at its previous start and had drawn benefit from racing on a larger track today.
LOVE ON THE ROCKS - weakened on the final bend.
BRIGADIERS SON - weakened leaving the final bend.
JODY DIREEN - weakened on the final bend.
SANTANNA MACH - over-raced in the early and middle stages. Weakened on the final bend.
ART COURAGE - over-raced in the middle stages.
