Race 9 - HORNBY LIQUOR CENTRE MOBILE PACE
Trainer R Todd advised Stewards on 11 November that veterinary tests revealed no abnormalities with SUZIE ROCKS subsequent to her performance at Addington on Cup Day with the mare continuing with her engagement on Friday.
Race 10 - AVON CITY FORD TROT
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 11 November that BRYAN BORU did not eat up after its performance on Cup Day necessitating its withdrawal from its Addington engagement tomorrow. Mr Dunn added that the gelding will have blood tests taken and Stewards will follow up the results of these tests.

GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - broke at the start losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Broke near the 1850 metres losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 50 metres.
RACHEL DAYTOM - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
BULLER WHITEBAIT - broke after 150 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
AWESOME IMPEE - the connections advised the mare would be racing in season. Trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out.
LA DAMA - broke on the first bend losing considerable ground.
KAHNTDOITALONE - slow to begin.
ELLA OF MOT - broke near the 1900 metres and struck several track markers when attempting to clear trailing runners and lost ground in consequence. Broke again passing the 500 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
VERTIGO - raced greenly approaching the 200 metres and shifted up the track when driver D McCormick unsuccessfully attempted to activate the removable deafeners. Mr McCormick was warned for using his whip free of the rein in the middle stages of the run home. Trainer L McCormick was warned for failing to affix the removable deafeners so as not to malfunction.
Race 2   STEWART & HOLLAND MOBILE PACE
HONOUR SCROLL - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
LITTLE GEE - raced wide in the early stages. Raced greenly through the middle stages.
SWEET AFFINITY - required the assistance of the Clerk of the Course after refusing to leave the pre-race assembly area despite the efforts of driver J Cox. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke near the 250 metres hampering trailing runners. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the filly.
EYECON - weakened final bend. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 200 metres. When questioned regarding the performance trainer A Fitzgerald advised the gelding was racing up in grade from its last start and had worked hard in the early stages when attempting to improve to the lead which had taken its toll. Mr Fitzgerald added the horse may be better suited when driven for one run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SPICY GIRL BECQUI - raced wide in the early stages and over-raced when being restrained to the rear of the field. Held up final bend. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 200 metres.
KOWHAI SHADOW - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
TANE J J - over-raced early and middle stages. Held up leaving the final bend.
MITSI GAYNOR - junior driver C Dalgety (assisted by B Orange) was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the middle stages of the run home.
JENABELLA - driver J Dunn was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion passing the 50 metres.
Trainer A Fitzgerald advised Stewards on 12 November that EYECON has been treated for muscle tie-up subsequent to its performance at Ashburton yesterday.

GINAS MAJESTY - trotted roughly in the run home.
KOHLI TROUBLE - trainer B White was issued with a warning for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with removable deafeners and half hopples. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 450 metres. Weakened leaving the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver S McNally could only advise the horse which was having its first start would derive considerable benefit from the race.
BROTHER LOVE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 450 metres.
THE FIERY SPIRIT - trotted roughly in the early stages of the run home before breaking passing the 150 metres.
NORDIC PRINCE - briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 450 metres. Trotted roughly in the early stages of the run home before breaking passing the 200 metres.

When spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer B Mowbray advised the filly had raced without luck in its two race day starts to date when having difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight. Mr Mowbray added he had been confident of a forward showing today.
PEMBROOK'S PRINCESS - when spoken to regarding the performance driver J Cox advised the horse had raced lethargically when attempting to improve wide on the final bend with Mr Cox adding the filly may not have backed up from its previous start on 5 November. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SOPHIE - held up early stages of the run home.

SHE'S GOT STYLE - held up early stages of the run home.
SOUTHERN STORM - held up early stages of the run home. Driver S Ottley was warned for striking a track marker near the 250 metres when shifting inwards to utilise the passing lane.
AIRIES GOLD - held up early stages of the run home.
TWILIGHT BROMAC - held up throughout the run home only obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages. Driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners.
ROCK'N KIWI - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened when leading leaving the final bend.
CHARNUI - raced wide early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1550 metres.
HIT THE BEACH - held up early stages of the run home. Driver R Alfeld was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion passing the 200 metres and for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the middle stages of the run home.

Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS SIRES STAKES FILLIES HEAT 1 (MOB PACE)
The start of this race was delayed due to a communication error between the Clerk of the Course and the drivers with all runners being late onto the track.
ALLEGRA - the near side boring pole was removed prior to the start after the filly warmed up unfavourably. Held up early stages of the run home.
COVER GIRL - when spoken to regarding the performance driver B Butt reported the filly had been unsuited to racing in the parked position for the majority of the race.
Race 7   CLEM & RUSSELL BRAND MEMORIAL TROT
CLICQUOT - broke near the 1700 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ZSAHARA - over-raced at various stages throughout.
BOURBON ON THE ROCKS - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again near the 1900 metres. Trotted roughly in the run home and had to be steadied.
SHES SO RIGHT - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
BOSS KENNY - trotted roughly in the run home.
HANOVER DA MOON - a side winker was removed prior to the start after the gelding warmed up unfavourably.
FLYIN SID - broke at the start losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MERLOT - had to be steadied approaching the 1500 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts. Driver L Newton was warned for using her whip free of the rein on one occasion in the middle stages of the run home.

Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards of 12 November that blood tests taken from WARHOL revealed the horse to be showing signs of a virus and would be treated. Mr Yesberg added the horse would be gelded and sent for a spell.
Race 9   REAL ESTATE NZ MOBILE PACE
A number of runners were out of position at the start despite the efforts of their drivers due to the mobile driver's foot inadvertently being placed on the accelerator causing the speed of the mobile to be greater than desired by Starter R Donnelly.
GLEN ELGIN TOMSON - out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver.
JOHN JAMES PRESTON - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
MAJOR MEMPHIS - out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver. Over-raced middle stages.
MOODY RIVER - required a sulky change due to having a flat tyre. Driver G Smith was issued with a warning for leaving the track without permission. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver.
WOODLEA BEAVER - out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver. Raced wide in the early stages. Held up final bend by a weakening runner.
JENNY GUMP - out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.

SOUTH PARK - fractious prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. When spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer S Lock advised the horse had begun quickly and had been able to capitalise on a favourable run throughout.
DD'S SUPER STUART - held up throughout the run home with driver J Markham advising he did not activate the removable deafeners.
THIS TIME GAMBLE - fractious prior to the start and breasted the barrier strand causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke at the start losing all chance and was retired from the race.
CABELLA NOIR - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
GLOBAL FLIGHT - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home. Broke near the 100 metres when shifting ground inwards to obtain clear running.

TAS GIRL BROMAC - broke briefly at the start. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
PIALLIGO - the blinds were removed prior to the start after the gelding warmed up unfavourably. Broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 1750 metres when over-racing. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
SPANNA - shifted up the track as the start was effected checking ZIA BROMAC and was slow to begin. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
ZIA BROMAC - checked and broke at the start losing ground. Driver R May reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 950 metres.
CHAMPAGNEANDWINE - driver T Chmiel was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the early stages.
LULU LE MANS - trainer D Jones advised the mare had been served since last racing.
TERROR MARIA - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HILARIOUS PRINCE - struck and punctured the sulky tyre of ZIA BROMAC near the 950 metres after an easing of the pace despite the efforts of driver J Simpson. Improved wide without cover from the 900 metres. Weakened final bend.
Trainer J Hooper advised Stewards on 4 February that JUST MICHAEL has been treated for a virus since last racing.
Race 12   INKWISE MOBILE PACE
SING TO ME - when spoken to regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the filly had received every opportunity and he could offer no explanation.
SHARDS IN MANHATTAN - held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home only receiving clear racing room over the concluding stages.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Murdoch. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SILK - when spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer I Court advised the mare, which is one paced, had been suited to the strong tempo throughout the race and had received an economical run throughout.
KUSANOVA - held up final bend.
ANGEL OF MONTANA - raced wide in the early stages. When spoken to regarding the performance driver R Close advised the filly had worked hard in the early stages to obtain a forward position and this effort combined with the strong tempo throughout had taken its toll.
UNFAZED - out of position at the start. Driver D van Til was issued with a warning. Raced wide without cover from the 900 metres.
GYPSY - held up in the early stages of the run home. When spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer B Mowbray advised the mare had derived considerable benefit from its first run back from a spell and had received a favourable run when able to save ground by racing on the marker line from a second line draw.
CLASSEY ROBIN - over-raced at various stages throughout. Weakened final bend.
SENORITA MARGARITA - hampered late in the score up.
UNCLE CHAN - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the horse had hung throughout causing him difficulty. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding in the coming days.
The connections of UNCLE CHAN advised Stewards on 17 November that a veterinary examination subsequent to this race revealed no abnormalities with the gelding now being sent for a brief spell.
