Pre-race blood testing was carried out.

During an early morning stable visit to the property of M Jones, Stewards noted MONACO GRACE (Race 2) had a bandage applied to its near fore coronet band which on examination revealed a minor injury. MONACO GRACE underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the course which cleared her to start.

ANDOVERLOV - broke at the start. Driver P Nairn was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein early in the run home.
SIOUX PRINCESS - broke shortly after the start.
JIMMY CARTER - raced wide in the early stages.
SPRINGBANK MASON - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
DOFF YOUR CAP - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
PHOEBE ONYX - driver T Williams was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SPY DA MOMENT - began awkwardly.

Race 2   HYDROFLOW 'CUP DAY MAIDEN' MOBILE PACE
MONACO GRACE - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised the filly had travelled lethargically throughout and failed to respond when asked for an effort over the final stages. Trainer M Jones advised he had been disappointed with her effort and it was his intention to now spell the horse. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an elevated heart rate and slow recovery.
NICK OF TIME - driver S Boyd admitted using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the early stages of the run home and after viewing the films and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Boyd's drivers licence from the conclusion of racing on 11 November up to and including 20 November 2021 (3 days).
RAKERO REBEL - held up rounding the final bend by a tiring runner.
TIDE AND TIME - held up rounding the final bend by a tiring runner.
MAN UNITED - held up near the 200 metres.
TORNADO BANNER - when questioned regarding the performance driver M Purdon advised the filly had travelled well throughout but did not respond when pressured entering the final straight. Trainer A Ward suggested the filly may have been lacking race fitness despite attending a recent trial and anticipated the horse would derive benefit from the run.
LOVE LOU LONGTIME - raced wide in the early stages. Driver N Williamson reported his gelding to have raced roughly on each of the bends.
FEARLESS GIRL - slow in the early stages and lost contact with the field. When questioned regarding this driver M Williamson reported the filly to have been striking her knees.
HILDA MAUD - broke after 100 metres. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
SMART WATCH - driver J Dunn reported the colt to have dropped a knee boot in the early stages.
CHANCE ACHIEVER - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
LIVE ON LEGEND - raced greenly in the score up and was back slightly on the second row at the start.
Race 3   THE BOX SEAT 'EVERY WEDNESDAY 9AM' HANDICAP TROT
CLYDE - held up final bend.
SHOW ME THE GRAY - broke at the start. The all clear was delayed until such time Stewards could confirm the gelding had not breached the breaking horse regulations.
FULL OF HOPE - held up final bend.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
THE BLOSS - held up final bend.
RED HARBOUR - broke at the start losing all chance.
KD HAWK - broke after 100 metres losing all chance.
FIGHTING FIRE - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the horse had worked hard in the early stages but had failed to relax during the middle stages ultimately proving detrimental to its chance. Trainer P Kerr explained that when considering the overall time he was not disappointed with the performance.
DESBOIS - raced wide in the early stages. Under pressure near the 700 metres and lost ground. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn reported the gelding had worked too hard in the early stages in an endeavour to find the lead and had been further undone by the strong tempo set throughout.
HAROLD SMITH - when questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised the gelding had travelled well throughout but had to work harder than he anticipated to find the parked position due to ZSA ZOE racing fiercely with this taking its toll over the final stages. Trainer T Bagrie advised that considering this and the overall tempo of the race he was not disappointed with the gelding's effort.
COUNT EYRE - trotted roughly and broke for a short distance near the 900 metres.
KAHRESS - weakened final bend.
ZSA ZOE - raced wide in the early stages. Over-raced in the middle stages when in the parked position. Briefly held up near the 400 metres.
MISSALYSSA - broke at the start.
MISS CRAZED - weakened final bend.

SIMPLY DELICIOUS - held up by a tiring runner on the final bend.

OFF N GONE - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when there was an easing of the pace.
SAMHARA - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when there was an easing of the pace.
ROUGH AND READY - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when there was an easing of the pace.
HEZA SPORT - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when there was an easing of the pace.
DENY EVERYTHING - raced wide in the early stages. Sustained a punctured sulky tyre racing into the first bend which resulted in the gelding giving ground on the final bend.
IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH - raced wide in the early stages. Driver M Purdon admitted driving carelessly near the 1700 metres when allowing his runner to shift in and contact the sulky wheel of DENY EVERYTHING which punctured. After viewing the films and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.
ALTA WISEGUY - over-raced middle stages.
Race 7   LIVAMOL NZ TROTTING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE TROT)
BOLT FOR BRILLIANCE - driver J Curtin momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky rest in the run home. Mr Curtin admitted using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home and after viewing the films and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Curtin's drivers licence from the conclusion of racing on 12 November up to and including 26 November 2021 (6 days).
MIDNIGHT DASH - Stewards questioned driver R May regarding the tactics he adopted rounding the first bend when restraining his runner which enabled THE DOMINATOR to shift inwards ahead of him. Mr May explained that he was aware OSCAR BONAVENA which he considered to be one of his main rivals was positioned behind him and felt had he asked his horse to quicken to hold THE DOMINATOR out it would have allowed OSCAR BONAVENA to improve into the 1x1 position behind THE DOMINATOR leaving MIDNIGHT DASH to be poorly placed back on the marker line. Mr May added that he felt it was in his best interests to allow THE DOMINATOR to shift inwards to the marker line which enabled him to shift out to improve his position forward in the two wide line near the 1400 metres. After considering the matter, Stewards accepted Mr May's comments.
Race 8   WOODLANDS STUD SIRES' STAKES SERIES FINAL (MOBILE PACE)
REPUBLICAN PARTY - held up final bend.
FRANCO MAC - driver N Rasmussen admitted using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home and after viewing the films and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Ms Rasmussen's drivers licence from the conclusion of racing on 12 November up to and including 10 December 2021 (9 days).
MAJOR PERRY - late scratching at 3.53pm on Veterinary advice after being lame in the right front leg in the preliminary. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance. Stewards questioned caretaker trainer J Whittaker and driver C DeFilippi regarding this and adjourned an inquiry into the matter.
LOCHART SHARD - hung inwards final bend losing ground.
MY ULTIMATE CHEVRON - trainer G Smith admitted being late to present the gelding on course with the Adjudicative Committee imposing a fine of $200. Over-raced middle stages. Held up leaving the final bend.
STREET HAWK - paced roughly final bend. Crowded near the 300 metres by an outside runner.
BUBBA SCRUB - crowded near the 300 metres by an outside runner and struck several track markers.
BLAMEITONTHENIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
MONTANA D J - raced wide without cover from the 1300 metres. Weakened from the 400 metres and hung inwards crowding inside runners.
Race 9   HORNBY LIQUOR CENTRE MOBILE PACE
GEORGIE ZUKOV - heavily checked on the final bend near the 300 metres losing its chance.
SPORTY CELINE - checked on the final bend and had to race wide to avoid further interference.
NEW YORK MINUTE - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley explained her runner had been unsuited to having pressure applied to her lead during the middle stages.
YOROKOBI - checked on the final bend and had to race wide to avoid further interference.
ENJOY ME - raced wide and without cover from the 1300 metres. Commenced to weaken on the final bend and when doing so lay inwards having to be corrected. Made abnormal respiratory noises when under pressure in the run home. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination failed to detect any abnormalities.
RIVEERED - checked on the final bend and had to race wide to avoid further interference. Driver M Purdon was issued with a warning for using his whip free of the rein early in the run home.
SUZIE ROCKS - paced roughly and then blundered and broke near the 300 metres severely checking the trailing KERRI MAGUIRE and locking wheels losing its chance. Driver B Butt could offer no explanation for the gallop and a warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer R Todd advised he intended to have the mare undergo further examination in the coming days and Stewards will follow up.
KERRI MAGUIRE - heavily checked near the 300 metres and locked wheels with SUZIE ROCKS losing its chance.
ARCHMAN - checked on the final bend and had to race wide to avoid further interference.
SERG BLANCO - checked on the final bend and had to race wide to avoid further interference.
Trainer R Todd advised Stewards on 11 November that veterinary tests revealed no abnormalities with SUZIE ROCKS subsequent to her performance at Addington on Cup Day with the mare continuing with her engagement on Friday.
Race 10   AVON CITY FORD TROT
TRIXTON TIME - slow to begin hampering a trailing runner.
LOVE N THE PORT - driver B Williamson reported the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
CODY BANNER - broke near the 350 metres.
MADELEINE STOWE - raced wide in the early stages.
LOVE ROSE - hampered at the start. Raced wide from the 1300 metres.
BRYAN BORU - when spoken to regarding the disappointing performance driver J Dunn was unable to provide any explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
SUNDONS FLYER - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
SHANDON BELLS - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke near the 2400 metres losing its chance.
MONRIKA - Trainer M Howard advised the mare would be racing in foal. Began awkwardly. Over-raced middle stages.
RESOLVE - raced wide from the 950 metres.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 11 November that BRYAN BORU did not eat up after its performance on Cup Day necessitating its withdrawal from its Addington engagement tomorrow. Mr Dunn added that the gelding will have blood tests taken and Stewards will follow up the results of these tests.

Race 11   IRT NEW ZEALAND TROTTING CUP (STAND PACE)
VINTAGE CHEDDAR - broke at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Commenced to race fiercely near the 1300 metres becoming poorly positioned close to the sulky of TERRY.
MATT DAMON - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
CRANBOURNE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Raced keenly throughout. Raced fiercely near the 1300 metres and had to be severely restrained after becoming awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of VINTAGE CHEDDAR. Weakened final bend.
KANGO - broke briefly at the start and shifted outwards. Raced wide from the 700 metres.
COPY THAT - shifted outwards in the early stages of the run home. Driver B Orange will be spoken to in the coming days regarding this.
HENRY HUBERT - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start.
BAD TO THE BONE - raced wide early stages. Over-raced in the middle stages when in the parked position.
TERRY - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
SELF ASSURED - paced roughly and had to be steadied passing the 1400 metres when hampered by an outwards shift by LAVER. Hung inwards in the early stages of the run home and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of SOUTH COAST ARDEN.
SOUTH COAST ARDEN - fractious prior to the start. Hung outwards in the early stages of the run home.
LAVER - fractious prior to the start. Raced wide in the early stages. Driver G O'Reilly will be spoken to regarding the manner in which he shifted ground near the 1400 metres.
DANCE TIME - fractious prior to the start. Broke near the 1100 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Driver B Orange (COPY THAT) was spoken to advisedly to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
Race 12   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
FIRE FOX - weakened rounding the final bend and hung inwards and struck track markers. When questioned regarding the performance trainer K Townley advised he was disappointed with the performance and would consider withdrawing the horse from its engagement on Show Day. Stewards will follow up with Mr Townley in the coming days.
CHAL PATCH - held up rounding the final bend.
NO TIME LIKE NOW - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer G Court advised the horse had stood on the mark at its last start from a stand and had benefitted from a return to mobile racing. Mr Court added the horse had been working well in preparation for today's race and was not surprised with the effort.
DASHING MAJOR - raced wide in the early stages.
FRANCO NORTON - raced wide in the early stages.
MOSSMAN - raced greenly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
Trainer K Townley advised Stewards on 12 November that FIRE FOX has recovered well from its last start and will continue with its current preparation.
