VERTIGO - broke briefly at the start.
GAME ASPIRATION - broke at the start losing all chance.
MICKEY D - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1200 metres. Broke near the 300 metres when improving wide on the track.
SHOW THE WAY - held up early stages of the run home.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out.
ABACARDI HAZEL - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
TOOBUSY BEING FAMOUS - raced wide early stages. Broke near the 150 metres.

tW5pkTlMoKo CLASSIE LINC - a false start was declared when CLASSIE LINC broke in the score up checking the trailing CHEEKYGRIN. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Driver M Herbert elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. Fractious in the pre-race formation prior to the restart and was sent to the unruly position by the Starter where the filly will remain for future mobile starts. Hung inwards throughout the run home. Driver M Herbert admitted a breach of Rule 857(7)(e) in that he crossed over prior to reaching the starting point when drawn on the unruly. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Herbert's drivers licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 11 December 2021 (6 weeks).
FASCINATE - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
ELIZA DAVOLTA - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
STELLAR ARDEN - broke shortly after the start hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Driver T Williams reported the filly had been striking the sulky wheels.
CHEEKYGRIN - hampered by breaking runner shortly after the start.
MORRIES GIRL - hampered by breaking runner shortly after the start.
SHES WATCHING - hampered by breaking runner shortly after the start. Held up over the concluding stages of the run home.
BEWARNEDBABE - trainer K Cox advised the filly would be racing in season. Broke in the score up of the restart losing all chance. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial.

CHARLIE'S ACE - fractious prior to the start and was out of position as the start was effected. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
MIKIS SHINEING STAR - broke at the start.
ANGUS - shifted out throughout the run home. Driver S Boyd was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home. Mr Boyd advised he would be making gear changes to the gelding prior to resuming. When asked to comment on the improved performance, trainer/driver S Boyd advised the horse had shown natural improvement in recent weeks and he was not surprised by the gelding's performance today.
GRINNING AGAIN - weakened final bend.
PURE COURAGE - broke at the start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a stand. Trainer K James advised he would give consideration to sending the gelding for a spell.

JR_xD3mbe-A FRANCO CORNEL - paced roughly in the score up. Broke leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver T Williams reported the gelding had been contacting its knees throughout.
IT'S ME - hampered by breaking runner leaving the final bend.
HUCKABEE - hampered by breaking runner leaving the final bend.
PINK FLAMINGO RUN - weakened final bend.
BELLE'S BOY - hampered by breaking runner leaving the final bend.
PLAY BY EAR - the required veterinary clearance was received. Hampered by breaking runner leaving the final bend.
MR ASIA - raced with one number after the off side number broke in the preliminary. Had to be briefly steadied near the 100 metres.
KENNEDY - hampered by breaking runner leaving the final bend.
MYRCELLA - trainer M Purvis was warned for presenting the mare without the notified anti choke device. Broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Driver E Barron reported in her opinion the mare had failed to handle the grass track.
LATERINTHEDAY - broke near the 400 metres.

READY I AM - lay inwards final bend striking several track markers. Driver P Wakelin was spoken to advisedly to ensure she makes a better effort to avoid contacting track markers. Ms Wakelin was warned for using her whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 200 metres.
SALLY LINDENNY - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer K Townley advised the mare had benefited from a brief spell and had performed well on this course in the past.
TRES MAGNIFIQUE - raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened final bend.
FAST WHISPERING - trotted roughly and broke passing the 150 metres.
PRINCE TEKA - broke briefly in the score up. Raced wide with cover throughout.
INSTANT DELIGHT - raced wide with cover throughout. Broke near the 500 metres losing all chance.
BRIGHT GLOW - raced wide with cover in the early and middle stages. Improved wide without cover from the 800 metres.
ILLEGAL ALIEN - out of position at the start. Driver R May was issued with a warning.

l9RM_0cqrT8 BETTERTHANHOPE - driver J Hay defended a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations alleging he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the films and hearing evidence the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Hay's drivers licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 11 November 2021 (3 days).
ARDEN'S SWEETHEART - raced wide early stages.
BETTER FLY - raced wide early and middle stages.
SONGBIRD - over-raced middle stages.
JENNY GUMP - raced wide throughout.
SHEEZAGOLDENGIRL - raced wide in the early and middle stages and without cover from the 700 metres.
TIMES ARE A CHANGIN - broke near the 600 metres after being shifted wider on the track by an inside runner.
HOPE FOR LOVE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Driver S Tomlinson was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion leaving the final bend.
STYX SWEETIE - raced wide early stages.
Trainer M Heenan advised Stewards that SISTER'S DELIGHT has had her hocks injected since last racing.

ROLLYARRRZ - raced wide early stages. Junior driver K Newman was reminded of his obligations to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the early stages of the run home.
YOUNG GEORGE - weakened final bend.
MAXIMILIAN - raced wide throughout. Weakened final bend.
BEST TRIO - raced wide with cover throughout.
ELOEL - raced wide with cover throughout. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
VICTOR BRAVO - held up final bend and throughout the run home. Driver B Hope advised he had not activated the removable deafeners in consequence.
PRODIGAL SON - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Raced wide with cover throughout. Driver R Holmes was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the early stages of the run home.
ROCKIN VA VA - held up throughout the run home. Driver T Williams advised he had not activated the removable deafeners in consequence.
LECONTE - broke briefly in the score up.

HUEGO BOS - checked by breaking runner on the final bend.
JENABELLA - hung inwards in the run home.
DONEGAL CARRICKFIN - checked and forced wide on the final bend and broke in consequence.
MARTIN JOHN - paced roughly near the 400 metres checking trailing runners. Driver B Orange reported the gelding's back legs had slipped when he had increased the speed of the race and that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre in this incident.
REFINE - forced to race very wide on the final bend.
LITTLE GEE - forced to race very wide on the final bend.
SPICY GIRL BECQUI - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 350 metres.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - checked and broke on the final bend.
SPORTSCAM - back slightly from the unruly position at the start after breaking in the early stages of the score up. Broke near the 350 metres.
Following this race a delegation of Stewards, Drivers, Club Officials and the HRNZ Track & Venue Inspector examined an area of the track near the 400 metres where MARTIN JOHN had slipped. Following this inspection, all parties were satisfied the track was in a safe condition to continue racing on and after consulting with several other Senior Drivers it was unanimously agreed that the meeting should proceed.

ypGnWHtxj6o ROCK N DIAMONDS - lost ground rounding the bends. Driver J Dunn reported the gelding had hung throughout and he would be recommending gear changes.
STARKERS - held up over the concluding stages of the run home.
WAVETHEBILL - trainer S Adlam was warned for being late to notify the colt would be racing without blinds.
CLASSEY ROBIN - broke shortly after the start. Held up early stages of the run home. When spoken to regarding the perfomance trainer/driver G Smith advised the mare had worked hard in the early stages to maintain its position due to the strong tempo of the race. Mr Smith added the horse may not have backed up from recent racing.
SCARED STIFF - broke at the start. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver T Chmiel advised the gelding had to work hard in the early stages and had proved disappointing after being held up on the final bend. He added that the horse may be better suited when able to be driven for one run.
IT'S A SHAWTHING - broke at the start losing ground.
SZYBKA LANE - raced wide in the early and middle stages until reaching the parked position at the 900 metres. Weakened on the final bend.
MARK DUNNETT - broke at the start losing ground.

PRECIOUS SARA - raced wide without cover throughout. Driver J Dunn was spoken to advisedly regarding breaking up his use of the whip with alternative actions in the run home.
SENORITA MARGARITA - raced wide early stages.
SKIDADDLE - driver B Butt was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
OLIVER NORTH - broke near the 300 metres.
CAESAR'S QUEST - raced wide throughout.
TAIRLAW TOLL - held up early and middle stages of the run home. When spoken to regarding the improved performance Trainer/Driver K Cameron advised he expected the gelding to race well at its last start however it had been obliged to race wide without cover from the 800 metres. He added that the horse had improved since that race and had been working well in the lead up to today's race and he was not surprised by the performance.
SHARDS FURY - driver J Cox was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SPANNA - over-raced early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver S O'Reilly advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
THE GO TO MAN - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
JUST MICHAEL - over-raced middle stages.

1LxE2TOLV2E TANE J J - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home. When spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer B Negus advised the gelding had been suited to racing on the grass track and had been able to capitalise on its preferred racing style of being saved for one run.
PERCY - paced roughly when crowded after 100 metres.
DREAMINSOVER - raced wide early stages.
JOHN JAMES PRESTON - Trainer J Young-Grant advised that the gelding has had its hocks treated since last racing.
GLEN ELGIN TOMSON - paced roughly near the 400 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had been unable to make ground after being poorly placed towards the rear of the field. Mr Orange added the horse had lost momentum when having to be steadied on the final bend after a slight easing of the pace and he expected the horse would derive considerable benefit from its first start back after a lengthy spell.
MAJOR COLLECT - over-raced middle stages.
DENNIS DENUTO - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Hung inwards over the concluding stages.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Held up until late in the run home.
KOWHAI SHADOW - when spoken to regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised she had been unable to improve her position after no runners improved three wide leaving her poorly placed at the rear of the field. Miss Ottley added that considering the horse had run on strongly in the home straight she was pleased with the performance.
