SAVIOUR TELF - paced roughly leaving the final bend when awkwardly positioned between THE HIGH COMMANDER and EYECON when attempting to shift wider on the track to obtain clear running. Driver T Larsen was shown a replay and spoken to for the manner he attempted to shift ground and advised to ensure he has sufficient advantage over an outside runner to improve wider on the track and does so in a gradual manner to allow that runner time to accommodate the manoeuvre. | |
MAJOR DOLMIO - the required Veterinary Clearance was received. Broke in the score-up and shifted in abruptly making heavy contact with EYECON and ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN necessitating a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Underwent a veterinary examination following this incident and was cleared to race in the restart. Driver N Williamson elected to start from the Unruly position for the restart where the gelding will now be drawn for its upcoming mobile barrier engagements. Raced wide without cover from the 800 metres. Weakened leaving the final bend. | |

TASHS BAD GIRL - weakened from the 700 metres. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly. Driver A Kyle was warned for the manner he drove racing into the first bend when placing an inside runner in restricted room when shifting ground. When asked to comment on the performance Trainer A Kyle advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Mr Kyle added that he would have blood tests conducted on TASHS BAD GIRL in the coming days and undertook to advise the Stewards of any abnormality. | |
BACK PAGE NEWS - hung inwards throughout the run home and shifted inwards into the Passing Lane. Notwithstanding this driver B Williamson was spoken to advisedly to make a greater effort to ensure he leaves the Passing Lane clear for trailing runners. | |
Trainer A Kyle advised Stewards on 14 October that blood tests taken from TASHS BAD GIRL revealed no abnormalities with Mr Kyle adding that the filly will have a change of diet prior to resuming. |
