GETN WIGGY WITHIT - broke for a short distance rounding the first bend. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Shifted inwards passing the 100 metres hampering an inside runner. Stewards questioned drivers T Macfarlane (GETN WIGGY WITHIT), Z Butcher (THEMIGHTY MIKI) and A Drake (LOUIE LEBEAU) regarding an incident rounding the first bend when GETN WIGGY WITHIT broke briefly. After viewing the replays and hearing from the drivers, it was established that GETN WIGGY WITHIT and THEMIGHTY MIKI had jostled for a position rounding the first bend and shortly after OHOKA CREED which was racing in the parked position had been restrained to obtain cover resulting in a slight easing of the pace. This resulted in GETN WIGGY WITHIT becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of LOUIE LEBEAU with contact then being made to that runners wheel despite the efforts of Mr Macfarlane. After considering the matter, Stewards were satisfied that Mr Macfarlane's actions were not careless and no further action was deemed necessary.
