TISBURY ROCKS - held up on the final bend. Driver K Barclay was issued with a warning for using her whip free of the rein racing into the first bend and again near the 300 metres.

THE OTHER BROTHER - hung inwards and paced roughly rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with Trainer J Douglas in the coming days.
BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS - Driver R McIlwrick reported he was unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.
SAVIOUR TELF - out of position at the start. Junior Driver T Larsen was issued with a warning.
ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having started for a considerable period of time and was cleared to race. The near hind hopple loop broke shortly after the start. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. Lay inwards on the bends. Weakened from the 500 metres. Driver T Robertson drove with his foot removed from the sulky foot rest throughout the home straight. When questioned regarding this Mr Robertson explained that his sulky seat had slipped backwards placing him at a considerable disadvantage. After hearing the explanation tendered, Stewards deemed no further action was necessary.
