Race 1   WYNDHAM WORKOUTS COMMITTEE TROT
TEASE MY TARTAN - weakened on the final bend.
PETRONELLI GEE - briefly held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
EILISH HALL - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
JACCKA WATCH - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
SON OF A BULL - weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MYSHOUT - hampered by a weakening runner near the 650 metres.
MERKEL - reared as the start was effected then broke. Again broke passing the 700 metres losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start engagements at the request of Trainer M Enochsson.
KIWI HEIR - cast a bell boot near the 700 metres.
BIRCH - broke racing into the first bend. Again broke near the 1500 metres.
LAURIES LEGACY - briefly hampered at the start by a breaking runner. Raced greenly and shifted outwards over the concluding stages. Driver B Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 2   THANK YOU JAMIE AGNEW MOBILE PACE
SAVIOUR TELF - held up over the concluding stages.
CHARLTON REACTOR - over-raced in the middle stages.
SLY TRICKS - raced wide in the early stages. Driver B Williamson reported that his sulky tyre deflated during the running.
BEEZ NEEZ - raced wide in the early stages.
THE BIG LEBOWSKI - held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
BOO - held up on the final bend.
THE OTHER BROTHER - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened on the final bend.
OVER THE ODDS - Driver B Orange reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ALITTLEBITGOOD - paced roughly near the 1100 metres. Driver M Hurrell was issued with a warning after dropping his foot from the sulky footrest over the concluding stages which resulted in his foot making contact with the hind leg of the gelding. In taking this course of action, Stewards were satisfied that there had been no intent on Mr Hurrell's behalf and the contact had been accidental.
Following the running of this race the official track conditions were upgraded to Easy.
Race 3   THANK YOU KAREN MILNE & TRACEY NORMAN MOBILE PACE
TIGERS WATCHING - broke near the 1400 metres hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SANTERIA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400 metres. Driver A Armour was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
WRITERS DELIGHT - out of position at the start. Broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
ATARAH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400 metres. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
COOL IDEA - paced roughly in the early stages when being restrained. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400 metres.
ELOUISA DALE - weakened on the final bend.
Race 4   McDONOUGH CONTRACTING LTD MOBILE PACE
I'M WATCHING YOU - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
MIGHTY GEORGE - when spoken to regarding the perceived improved performance, the connections advised the gelding had worked well during the week and drawn benefit from a change of gear and also received a run to suit today.
MACH O'MELLEY - briefly held up on the final bend. Driver A Armour was attended to by St John Ambulance Paramedics following this race and stood down from his remaining driving engagement due to suffering a side strain. Mr Armour was advised a medical clearance would be required prior to him resuming driving.
HOLY HAVOC - weakened on the final bend. When asked to comment on the performance Driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and in his opinion the gelding may be better suited when saved for one run.
BETSTARS BLUE JEAN - held up from the 400 metres, only obtaining clear racing room in the middle stages of the home straight.
Race 5   HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY FERG TROT
The start was delayed when SIMONE LINDENNY reared and charged the barrier strand. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. There was a further delay when the front line barrier strand failed to clear the three inside runners resulting in a false start being declared.
JACCKA JEORGE - held up on the final bend. Broke passing the 200 metres.
IT'S SUMMERTIME - broke shortly after the start and shifted down the track making contact with the sulky of PEARLSPUR, losing all chance in consequence.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly throughout the run home and was unable to be driven out by Driver M Williamson.
CUDDLY TROUBLE - weakened from the 800 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the performance of the mare.
PEARLSPUR - hampered shortly after the start when contacted by IT'S SUMMERTIME. Broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
AMABEDE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
MY HOPE - lay inwards on the bends.
SVELT - weakened from the 800 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the right front leg. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
MAKE MY DAY - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 6   MARSHALL'S EXCAVATING LTD HANDICAP TROT
ANDIAMO - broke at the start losing all chance.
WINNING BONES - weakened over the concluding stages. When asked to comment on the performance Trainer/Driver M Williamson expressed disappointment with the effort and advised the gelding may not have backed up from its previous start at Invercargill last week.
JANNAH JACCKA - weakened on the final bend. When asked to comment on the performance Driver N Williamson expressed his disappointment however could offer no tangible explanation. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare in the coming days with Trainer B Gray.
HARRY H - weakened on the final bend.
GET LUCKY - backed away to the inside of the track and faced the wrong way just prior to the start resulting in a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 7   MLT / THREE RIVERS HOTEL MOBILE PACE
MIDNIGHT IN MEMPHIS - held up over the concluding stages.
COUNTESS OF ARDEN - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - lay outwards in the run home.
CELEBRATING - out of position at the start. Driver E Barron was issued with a warning. Over-raced in the middle stages.
Race 8   MENZIES COLLEGE 50TH REUNION (REGISTER NOW) MOBILE PACE
TOTAL ECLIPSE - held up leaving the final bend.
SENTRY - hung outwards in the early stages of the home straight when being shifted inwards to utilise the passing lane before weakening. When asked to comment on the performance Driver R McIlwrick advised he was disappointed however could offer no tangible excuse.
LUCCA - lay outwards leaving the final bend dictating outside runner wider on the track. When asked to comment on the performance Driver M Williamson advised the gelding had over-raced during the running with the effort taking its toll.
CHANGEAROUND - over-raced from 1000 metres when in the parked position. Dictated wider on the track leaving the final bend.
WHERE'S DADDY - Driver K Barclay reported that she had sustained a punctured sulky tyre when shifting ground outwards leaving the final bend after being contacted by DACHY (N Williamson). After viewing the replays and hearing from the respective Drivers, it was established that both runners had shifted ground outwards simultaneously and Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any one horse or Driver. Accordingly no further action was deemed necessary.
Race 9   BOOK YOUR XMAS FUNCTION HERE DECEMBER 15TH MOBILE PACE
SNEAK A PEEK - badly held up on the final bend before weakening in the run home. When asked to comment on the performance Driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort however could offer no tangible explanation after the mare had failed to run on from the 400 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have an elevated heart rate. Connections advised they may conduct blood tests on SNEAK A PEEK in the coming days and should they do so undertook to advise Stewards of any findings.
AIRWAVES - weakened on the final bend. When asked to comment on the performance Driver N Williamson advised the gelding had hung on various occasions during the running and he was disappointed with the effort.
ART COURAGE - weakened on the final bend.
