Race 1   JOIN THE BREEDERS MOBILE TROT
I GOT MUSIC - lay out in the early and middle stages of the run home.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke passing the 1400 metres losing ground.
MAJESTIC PRINCESS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record.
STRENGTH OF HEART - lay in rounding the bends. Broke near the 450 metres losing all chance.
MANCHESTER'S ECLIPSE - driver T Cameron was shown a replay and spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SOLEDAD - back a length at the start. When questioned by the Stewards driver T Mitchell advised that the filly had been breaking in her recent starts and he was mindful not to bustle the horse in the early stages of the race. Broke near the 450 metres losing all chance.
SUPERFAST NINJA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
Race 2   TERROR TO LOVE - THE CUPS KING MOBILE PACE
MR INCREDIBLE - lay in leaving the final bend contacting track markers.
MURPHYS REWARD - Over-raced in the middle stages when leading. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Mitchell reported that the gelding had over-raced during the running which had taken its toll.
GOVERNOR'S BAY - lay in passing the 400 metres.
SUPERSEDE - broke after 100 metres losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. While in a break a side hopple carrier came adrift. Stewards inspected the gear which was in good condition and sufficiently taped and accordingly no action was taken. Weakened passing the 400 metres.
Race 3   LAZARUS STANDING AT ALABAR F & M MOBILE PACE
THE MISSING SOCK - raced keenly near the 1000 metres when racing in the parked position. Weakened passing the 400 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly suffered an Atrial Fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance to include a satisfactory ECG. The Veterinarian recommended to connections that blood tests be taken from the filly and Stewards will follow up the results in the coming days.
BE MY ROSE - paced roughly passing the 1300 metres. Raced three wide without cover from the 900 metres.
EMMBER - held up leaving the final bend and until passing the 100 metres.
MANHATTAN - raced three wide with cover from the 800 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dickie reported that he was satisfied with the filly's effort considering that she raced wide and it was difficult to make up ground given the fast closing sectionals.
PLATINUM - hampered by a weakening runner passing the 400 metres.
LITTLE MISS PERFECT - held up briefly leaving the final bend contacting a track marker.
KERRI MAGUIRE - co-trainers S & A Telfer were issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after the gelding was presented to race in removable deafeners which were not notified and were subsequently removed prior to the start.
Race 4   CREATINE STANDING AT NEVELE R STUD MOBILE TROT
ALDEBARAN FLAME - broke after 100 metres but soon settled. Lay in passing the 900 metres.
STILL EYRE - commenced to weaken passing the 400 metres.
SAINT MICHEL - held up briefly by a weakening runner near the 400 metres.
DORIS RAE - broke briefly early in the score-up but soon settled. Broke again shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
IN SEQUENCE - out of position at the start. Junior driver T Bamford (assisted by M Wallis) was issued with a warning. Hampered by breaking runners near the 1400 metres. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer M Wallis reported that she was disappointed with the mare's effort and she was of the view that the horse may not have backed up from last weeks run. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
EMMA FROST - broke after 100 metres losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
Race 5   WOODLANDS STUD SUPPORT NORTH ISLAND BREEDERS F&M MOB PACE
MALAKA MISS - lay in passing the 400 metres.
IPANEMA GIRL - lay out throughout the home straight despite the efforts of driver Z Butcher.
GIRLS ARE BEST - paced roughly after 100 metres and had to be steadied. Again paced roughly in the run home.
WILLSHEROCKNROLL - shifted in passing the 200 metres when driver S Abernethy activated the removable deafeners then had to be corrected as WET FLIPFLOPS shifted ground to its inside.
BISOU LANCOME - hampered by a runner shifting wider on the track near the 150 metres.
MARGOT - lay in and paced roughly for a few strides near the 1400 metres and had to be steadied. Shifted up the track near the 150 metres hampering an outside runner.
Race 6   BETAVET SUPPORTS N.I. BREEDERS MOBILE PACE
DOCTOR STEVE - broke near the 1450 metres losing ground. A final warning was placed on the colt's racing record. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the final 150 metres.
SUPA DUPA LUCA - raced wide in the early stages.
MAGIC FOUR - raced wide in the early stages. Hampered passing the 150 metres by a runner shifting ground.
SUGAR APPLE - raced wide in the early stages.
GETN WIGGY WITHIT - raced keenly in the middle stages.
MAGIC THOMPSON - held up leaving the final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
RIVERBOY BEN - Co-trainers S & A Telfer were issued with a warning for the late notification that the gelding will race with removable deafeners. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 1450 metres.
LOUIE LEBEAU - briefly hampered by a breaking runner passing 1450 metres. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the manner in which he drove rounding the final bend, driver A Drake explained that he had commenced to shift out off the back of SUPA DUPA LUCA as TONITES DELIGHT improved to its outside. However, the colt had then lay in and locked on one rein which resulted in the horse being disappointed for a run thereafter. Mr Drake further advised that the connections will be making corrective gear changes prior to this runner next racing.
TONITES DELIGHT - raced wide in the early stages before shifting in to the running line near the 1150 metres.
Race 7   CLASSIC CONNECTION 'THE FRENCH REVOLUTION' MOB TROT
SILVER POWER - broke passing the 300 metres. Driver B Edwards was shown a replay and warned for the manner in which he drove when attempting to return his runner into its correct gait passing the 300 metres. Mr Edwards was also warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion. A post race veterinary examination revealed a minor wound to the left hock which was treated.
CALL ME TROUBLE - broke passing the 1300 metres losing ground.
Race 8   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS MOBILE PACE
HAPPY PLACE - held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
DUN IT BAD - commenced to weaken passing the 400 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with connections in the coming days.
OPTICAL ILLUSION - held up leaving the final bend.
SATCHMO - lay inwards final bend and contacted a track marker.
OHOKA ACHILLES - paced roughly for a few strides after 100 metres. Broke passing the 700 metres losing ground briefly hampering an outside runner.
ROUGH AND READY - raced wide in the early stages before improving to the parked position near the 1050 metres.
MAILMAN - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Unsuccessfully attempted to shift down into the running line passing the 1200 metres with MEETMEINSORRENTO holding that position before being restrained to the rear of the field.
MEETMEINSORRENTO - raced wide from the 800 metres. Weakened in the run home.
STAG PARTY - briefly hampered by a breaking runner passing the 700 metres when racing wide on the track. Had to be steadied passing the 400 metres after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of OHOKA ACHILLES. When questioned regarding the performance driver Z Butcher reported that the gelding had got too far back in the running and had been unable to improve in the home straight due the quick final sectionals.
Race 9   NZB STANDARDBRED FFA MOBILE PACE
CALLIE'S DELIGHT - held up in the early stages of the run home.
DOUBLE ROCKET - weakened in the run home.
DANCE TIME - raced wide in the early stages before improving to the parked position at the 1100 metres. Weakened leaving the final bend. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Butcher reported that it was the gelding's first run back from a spell and he expected the horse to derive considerable benefit from the run.
Race 10   HARNESS MILLIONS SAT FEB 12 2022 AT ALEX PARK MOB TROT
DELLARIO - out of position at the start. When questioned trainer/driver K Marshall explained that the gelding raced greenly in the score up. Broke passing the 200 metres but soon settled.
RUBY RIDGE - driver T Herlihy reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
LOLA - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Trotted roughly passing the 700 metres and had to be steadied losing ground. Weakened passing the 400 metres.
AEONIAN - trotted roughly in the early stages and had to be steadied losing ground. Broke passing the 1300 metres and again at the 400 metres losing all chance.
