Acting on a report provided by Racing Investigators who completed a stable inspection at the training premises of S Wigg this afternoon, Stewards ordered that GETN WIGGY WITHIT (Race 4), SAINT MICHEL (Race 6) and HAPPY PLACE (Race 7) be scratched acting under Rule 213(1)(c). An investigation was opened into this matter.

Race 1   GOOD LUCK SAM NOV TROT
CHICAGO H - broke approaching the winning post on the first occasion losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 500 metres losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the Trainer's request.
THE LAST GAMBLE - broke for several strides at the start. Lay in in the early stages and briefly inconvenienced MY ROYAL ROXY.
SUPERFAST NINJA - broke near the 1750 metres losing all chance.
DRUM N BASS - broke near the 40 metres and continued in a gallop until the finish line and was lapped on by MINNIE BOW TIQUE. A Protest against this runner's 3rd placing was not contested by connections and the gelding was relegated to 4th place by the Adjudicative Committee.
SAFRAKOVA - raced wide in the early stages before improving to the lead passing the 1600 metres.
SHAY SCOTT - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start.
Race 2   ULTIMATE SNIPER AT NEVELE R / ALABAR F & M MOBILE PACE
MISS HATHAWAY - held up behind a weakening runner passing the 400 metres.
THE BLUE BEAT - broke briefly passing the 1400 metres. Lay in at various stages throughout.
SPICE IT UP - over-raced early and middle stages.
EMMBER - back a length at dispatch. Driver M White was issued with a warning.
SWELL TIME - commenced to weaken passing the 400 metres. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
LITTLE MISS PERFECT - back a length at dispatch. Driver P Ferguson was issued with a warning. Lay in rounding the bends.
Race 3   LONE STAR ALEXANDRA PARK MOBILE PACE
GOVERNOR'S BAY - lay in near the 900 metres contacting track markers.
DRUM WITHERS - raced keenly middle stages.
STAC - over-raced early and middle stages when racing in the parked position. Weakened passing the 400 metres and finished a distant last. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
RORY MCILROY - Trainer W Fleming was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding with blinds that were not notified. Improved three wide passing the 1300 metres before crossing to race in the parked position near the 1000 metres. Gave ground passing the 400 metres.
MURPHYS REWARD - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of CLAUDIA SCHIFFER rounding the final bend and had to be steadied.
Race 4   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
FATHER QUINN - broke near the winning post on the first occasion losing its chance and was retired from the event. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a suspected fractured pastern of the near hind. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
PRIVATE EYE - lay out racing along the back straight on the final occasion. When spoken to regarding the performance Trainer/Driver N Chilcott reported that the gelding had felt lethargic during the running and proved an awkward drive in its first start right handed tonight.
MIDFREW LUCRE - paced roughly for several strides when improving wider on the track passing the 200 metres and lost ground.
JOSHUA RICHARD - held up for clear racing room final bend and until passing the 100 metres.
Race 5   LAZARUS, HE'S COMING HOME MOBILE PACE
MARATHON MAN - Co-Trainers B Purdon & S Phelan were issued with a $100 Minor Infringement notice after the boring pole came adrift near the 1100 metres. Hampered leaving the final bend.
OPTICAL ILLUSION - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of HOORAY HENRY when racing keenly passing the 1200 metres and had to be restrained. Hampered rounding the final bend when having to take evasive action and shifted wider on the track.
RUN MASON RUN - inconvenienced passing the 1000 metres when there was a slight easing of the pace on the marker line.
JACK TAR - paced roughly rounding the final bend and shifted out marginally hampering outside runners.
MAJOR JELLIS - lay out passing the 700 metres when racing in the trail having to be corrected by Junior Driver C Hackett. Held up rounding the final bend when racing keenly and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of MELANION.
MELANION - raced wide in the early stages before improving into the running line near the 1600 metres. Lay in passing the 300 metres contacting track markers.
HOORAY HENRY - inconvenienced passing the 1000 metres when there was a slight easing of the pace on the marker line. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
OHOKA ACHILLES - hampered and briefly paced roughly leaving the final bend and was shifted wider on the track.
Race 6   CREATINE STANDING AT NEVELE R HANDICAP TROT
IN SEQUENCE - fractious prior to the start. Shifted out on straightening for the run home then continued to lay out despite the efforts of Driver S Phelan. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the Trainer's request.
PEAKZ LUCK - broke passing the 1800 metres losing ground. Again broke passing the 400 metres losing all chance.
PHOEBE IMPERIAL - gave ground passing the 300 metres. When questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver N Chilcott reported that the gelding may not have backed up from last week's effort. Stewards will follow up regarding the gelding's recovery in the coming days.
KINGS LANDING - slow to begin from its 40 metre handicap.
Trainer N Chilcott advised Stewards on 21 July that PHOEBE IMPERIAL has recovered well following its run at Auckland on 16 July where it had not backed up from its previous run and added that the gelding will resume its preparation at Alexandra Park on 5 August.
Race 7   LAZARUS @ ALABAR MOBILE PACE
CHRIS KYLE - lay in rounding the final bend contacting track markers.
PLATINUM - raced keenly in the middle stages.
ARMED REACTOR - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
Race 8   ASHCROFT HOMES HANDICAP PACE
I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened from the 400 metres.
ROUGH AND READY - broke for several strides at the start before settling. Lay out entering the home straight.
MACH'S BACK - broke for several strides at the start before settling. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry reported that the gelding had raced keenly during the running which had taken its toll. Mr McKendry added that considering this he was not disappointed with the horse's effort and he expected it to derive benefit from tonight's race.
DOUBLE ROCKET - broke and shifted inwards at the start checking WARLOCH and lost considerable ground. A warning was placed on the entire's barrier record.
HAVTIME - when questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher advised that he was disappointed with the mare's effort after having received a favourable run throughout. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with connections in the coming days.
WARLOCH - broke at the start and was then checked by DOUBLE ROCKET losing ground.
DRACARYS - broke at the start losing ground before settling towards the rear. Weakened final bend.
Co-trainer B Purdon advised Stewards on 21 July that blood tests taken from HAVTIME revealed no abnormalities with the mare scheduled to resume at Alexandra Park on 5 August.
Race 9   NRM HANDICAP TROT
CYBER ATTACK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the Trainer's request.
DEBBIE LEE GALLEON - broke passing the 150 metres hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
DELLARIO - slow to begin.
EIGHT MILES HIGH - broke passing the 1400 metres losing ground settling at the rear of the field. Broke again passing the 900 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
AARDIEBYTHEHILL - held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
DOLLY P - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Lay out near the 1700 metres and shifted up the track. Commenced to weaken from the 700 metres and finished a considerable distance behind the field. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance.
JASINOVA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Driver L Chin had to take evasive action and shifted inside the marker line passing the 150 metres to avoid the breaking DEBBIE LEE GALLEON.
ALDEBARAN FLAME - slow in the early stages.
CEPHEUS - broke passing the 700 metres losing ground. Broke again rounding the final bend.
DOLLY P - Trainer M Perriton advised Stewards on 21 July that the mare was found to be in season after her last start and has since been treated.
Race 10   BREEDERS NIGHT STALLION LAUNCH 5 AUG @ ALEX PARK MOB PACE
MALAKA MISS - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
