Race 1   BetaVet TROT
CONSTELLATION - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
DEMOLITION MAN - broke at the start and galloped for a considerable distance before settling. Held up passing the 400m. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA for breaking in excess of 150m in the early stages.
TRAMPS LIKE US - broke near the 1800m causing Driver D Ferguson considerable difficulty when restraining the mare and lost all chance.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke near the 200m when weakening.
STRENGTH OF HEART - broke passing the 700m losing its chance.
ARDEE TROUBLE - raced keenly passing the 1700m. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had viewed a replay of an incident leaving the back straight approaching the 1400m and were satisfied that Driver L Neal (ARDEE TROUBLE) had sufficient room to improve to the inside of STRENGTH OF HEART which was racing up the track after being steadied to avoid the breaking TRAMPS LIKE US.
TRIXTON TIME - raced three wide from the 1200m.
WYNBERG WATCH - back several lengths from the Unruly position at the start. Broke near the 2200m losing its chance.
REIGN - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
MATAI LOUIS - over-raced during the score up and then raced fiercely over the early stages when having to be restrained off the back of FATHER QUINN which was being eased to attempt to secure a position in the running line, which resulted in contact being made to FATHER QUINN's sulky. Raced wide until obtaining the parked position at the 1500m. Driver P Ferguson advised that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the activation cord working loose. Mr Ferguson will be spoken to regarding using his whip free of the rein in the middle stages of the run home.
PRIVATE EYE - over-raced in the score up.
FATHER QUINN - lay in early stages of the run home.
IDEAL TOMADO - raced keenly when being restrained in the early stages.
YOSI MAH DUSS - Trainer D Erickson was issued with a warning for the late notification of deafeners. Weakened leaving the final bend.
BILLY IDOL - Driver K Marshall will be spoken to regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the early stages of the run home.
Race 3   GREGORY EQUINE COVERS AND SADDLERY MOBILE PACE
HUGO GEORGE - Junior Driver L Whittaker, assisted by S Phelan, was shown the replay and warned to break up his use of the whip with alternative actions.
SILVER LADY - raced keenly when being restrained in the early stages.
BE MY ROSE - raced wide in the early stages before improving to the parked position at the 1750m. Driver C Hackett reported that she was unable to activate the hopple shortener due to the release ring shifting out of arms reach but felt this did not impact on the mare's performance.
ROUGH AND READY - improved wide from the 700m.
EASTANBULL - over-raced for the majority of the race when leading. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Meredith confirmed that the over-racing had taken its toll.
LYNTON CREEK - Junior Driver N Delany, assisted by S Phelan, was shown the replay and issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
Race 4   GAVELHOUSE.COM MOBILE PACE
MHAI TOMMIE - raced wide in the early stages. Paced roughly for several strides near the 1600m before improving forward to the parked position at the 1300m. Weakened from the 600m.
KORLOFF NOIR - raced keenly in the middle stages.
CALI FRANCO - weakened from the 300m.
Race 5   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS HANDICAP TROT
HIGH IN THE SKY - broke racing into the first bend hampering a trailing runner and settled towards the rear. Broke passing the 1400m losing its chance.
MAJESTIC HARRY - slow to begin.
TAKE THE MONARCH - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke briefly losing ground.
OUR GRACIE - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
PRESIDENTIAL JEWEL - broke rounding the first bend losing ground.
SHE REIGNS - Driver D Ferguson advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 6   PLAYGROUND CREATIONS MOBILE PACE
SWELL TIME - raced keenly middle stages when racing in the trail before weakening over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver K Marshall reported that it was the mare's first run back from a spell on a fast tempo and he expected it would derive benefit from the run.
JACK TAR - over-raced middle stages.
OHOKA ACHILLES - Driver O Gillies was shown the replay and issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
Race 7   FUJI FILM MOBILE PACE
HIGH FLYING MAJOR - late scratching at 9.55 am on Veterinary advice.
BET WEST - held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
RUN MASON RUN - over-raced late in the score up.
Race 8   AUTEX INDUSRIES MOBILE PACE
NATURAL FIRE - weakened final bend.
EMMI ROSE - held up for clear racing room until passing the 100m.
BLAKE - paced roughly in the early stages. Again paced roughly passing the 600m losing ground.
THE GREENKEEPER - raced wide from the 900m. Commenced to weaken from the 450m finishing a considerable distance behind the field. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
Race 9   FURNWARE INDUSTRIES MOBILE PACE
TICKING OVER - raced keenly in the early stages when being restrained and made contact with the sulky wheel of TOODALOOLOU. Held up for clear racing room until passing the 100m.
MIGHTY MONICA - when questioned regarding the performance Driver T Mitchell reported that the early effort to lead had taken its toll and the mare had come to the end of its run near 100m.
TOODALOOLOU - hung inwards racing into the first bend and made contact with the off front leg of TICKING OVER which was racing keenly. Driver M McKendry reported that he sustained a flat tyre in this incident.
MAHIA - paced roughly over the final stages. When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance, the connections reported that the horse had encountered several hard runs in its recent races and because of this they had made alterations to the gelding's training program subsequent to its last start.
JACCKA COOPER - Trainer G Rogerson was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. The blinds were affixed prior to the start. Paced roughly throughout and in particular early in the run home. Driver D Ferguson was spoken to advisedly in the manner that he used his whip in the run home.
CLAUDIA SCHIFFER - held up for clear racing room early in the run home.
Race 10   IKE UNSWORTH BAYLEY'S HANDICAP TROT
DEBBIE LEE GALLEON - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
ROSSELLINI - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
AEONIAN - lay in on the bends.
JASINOVA - Driver L Chin had to take evasive action to avoid the breaking DEBBIE LEE GALLEON racing into the first bend.
SOLEDAD - broke at the start losing ground.
CEPHEUS - began awkwardly and shifted inwards at the start.
MAJESTIC PRINCESS - lay in throughout.
MANCHESTER'S ECLIPSE - Co-Trainers M Wallis and B Hackett were issued with a warning for presenting the mare with removable deafeners which were not notified. Broke at the start losing considerable ground.
