Trainer J McDermott advised Stewards on 17 June that CAESAR'S QUEST has recovered well from last week's performances and worked pleasingly in preparation for a resumption at Addington on Sunday.

Race 1   CONCRETE BROTHERS MOBILE PACE
CORFU BROMAC - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Again broke near the 550 metres hampering trailing runners with a warning placed on the racing record of the gelding. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Curtin advised the gelding had paced roughly throughout. A post-race Veterinary examination showed no abnormalities.
SPORTY CELINE - co-trainers G & J Dunn were issued a warning for failing to have mudguards fitted.
LIZZIE RICHTER - broke after 100 metres losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
RED RIGHT HAND - hampered after 100 metres by a breaking runner and had to shift wider. Again hampered near the 550 metres.
THE ARTFUL DODGER - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Kennett. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide in the early stages and raced fiercely when being restrained to the rear of the field causing driver J Kennett difficulty. Continued to over-race through the middle stages. Hampered near the 550 metres. Weakened final bend.
CONQUISTADOR - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 900 metres losing its chance. Driver B Butt reported the overcheck had become entangled around the shaft causing the horse some difficulty.
Race 2   AIRPARK CANTERBURY TROT
DREAMSINTHE MIST - trotted roughly in the early stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BACARDI PRIDE - switched to a pace after 150 metres when leading and was taken out of the race by driver J Curtin with the gelding not able to be returned to a trot for a considerable distance losing all chance.
MOMENT OF KAOS - hung outwards throughout the home straight and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver J Young-Grant.
INSTANT DELIGHT - trainer S Boyd was issued a warning for failing to have mudguards fitted. Broke after 100 metres losing all chance.
JESPER FAST - broke after 150 metres losing ground.
SPOT THE GAMBLE - broke at the start losing ground. Hung outwards in the middle stages before improving wide from the 800 metres. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
SEE IT THRU - driver K Hadfield was warned for half carting passing the 1400 metres.
RUAKAKA - had to be steadied passing the 1300 metres after being briefly hampered. Trotted roughly through the back straight on the final occasion. Again trotted roughly throughout the final straight having to be restrained.
WESTLAND PEAK - trotted roughly in the early stages.
Race 3   MID-WINTER AT ADDINGTON MOBILE PACE
SONGBIRD - over-raced in the score up.
PRO SURFER - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Newman. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
NERANO - lay outwards under pressure through the final straight and came together with AMERICAN OUTLAW on several occasions.
HANDS ON - driver A Cameron (assisted by M Purvis) was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
ALTA SENSATION - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued a warning for failing to have mudguards fitted. Out of position at the start. Driver S O'Reilly was issued a warning. Forced to race four wide final bend.
STORM - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Close. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Mr Close reported the off side hopple shortener became entangled in a side carrier after being activated.
AMERICAN OUTLAW - out of position at the start. Driver R May was issued a warning. Raced wide from the 700 metres. Lay inwards in the run home and came together with NERANO on several occasions. Paced roughly over the concluding stages.
Race 4   $15 DAILY DEALS AT SPECTATORS MOBILE TROT
HURRICANE HILL - held up early stages of the run home.
MICHELLE - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Again broke approaching the 600 metres losing its chance with a final warning placed on the racing record of the mare. Trainer M Jones advised he would be adding half hopples to the horse's gear.
MONRIKA - over-raced middle stages. Trotted roughly in the final straight.
TYENE - when spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange reported he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
TEQUILA SUNSET - raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
ONE OVER ALL - raced wide early stages.
Race 5   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
RAKE - weakened final bend.
THE FALCON - hung outwards in the run home.
QUARTERBACK - weakened final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver A Cameron could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Purvis advised he will have blood tests taken in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
KRUIZR - driver J Curtin was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 24 June that QUARTERBACK has been diagnosed with a lung infection following its performance last week necessitating its scratching from tonight's engagement.
Race 6   HRS CONSTRUCTION HANDICAP TROT
THE BLOSS - driver B Borcoskie will be spoken to regarding the non activation of the removable deafeners in the home straight.
FULL OF HOPE - tangled away.
WITH ICE - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
THE PLAYER - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
TIME IN A BOTTLE - trainer S Mounce was issued a warning for failing to have mudguards fitted.
VALLEY STAR - broke at the start losing ground.
Driver B Borcoskie (THE BLOSS) was issued with a warning for failing to report that he did not activate the removable deafeners on the mare.
Race 7   THE GRANITE BENCHTOP COMPANY PACE
WOODLEA DIEGO - driver K Cox was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the middle stages of the home straight.
MEGAROCK - crowded in the early stages.
TAURUS - began awkwardly and shifted inwards shortly after the start. Driver J Hay admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight. After viewing the films and hearing penalty submissions the JCA suspended Mr Hay's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 4 July 2021 (4 days).
ART COLLECTOR - trainer W Stapleton was issued a warning for failing to have mudguards fitted.
TERRIER - the off hind bandage came adrift during the running. Trainer J Bartlett was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Driver R Close reported the gelding had hung outwards throughout the home straight.
HARRISON - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - broke briefly at the start. Slow in the early stages.
Race 8   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
There was a delay to the start after KOWHAI MAGIC had to leave the track for a sulky change due to having a flat tyre.
HONOUR SCROLL - weakened final bend.
MARTIN JOHN - over-raced middle stages.
KOWHAI MAGIC - driver T Chmiel reported that due to the cord becoming entangled he had been unable to release the removable deafeners.
ENDLESS DREAMS - driver B Orange had difficulty activating the removable deafeners in the home straight.
MOSSDALE MAC - when spoken to regarding the performance the connections advised that after being restrained to the rear of the field in the early stages the horse had been unable to improve into the race due to the strong tempo however were pleased with the gelding's effort.
LINCOLN SKIPPER - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
