Race 8 - GJ GARDNER HOMES HANDICAP PACE
Driver R May (LOYALIST) defended a charge under Rule 869(4) and the Passing Lane Regulations in that he failed to maintain a straight course in the run home hampering inside runners. After viewing the replays and hearing from Mr May and Stewards, the JCA upheld the charge and imposed a fine of $300.

HARRY POTTER - slow to begin. Trotted roughly through the middle stages. Again trotted roughly throughout the run home.
BOURBON ON THE ROCKS - fractious prior to the start.
BELLA BUTTON - weakened rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Morrison reported the mare had been unsuited to racing parked with the fast tempo of today's race.
ONE TWO MENNY - fractious prior to the start and began awkwardly.
CLASSIC CALL - broke near the 2300 metres losing all chance.
ARRAN CHIEF - held up early stages of the run home.
ROYAL DEL - broke near the 250 metres.
KOWHAI SUNDOWN - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.

SOUTHSHORE - raced fiercely through the middle stages. Held up near the 75 metres.
CLASSIE WASHINGTON - driver T Chmiel was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
AZOR AHAI - over-raced when being restrained to trail near the 1300 metres.
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover in the early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort. Stable representative B Hope advised that in his opinion the horse had failed to handle a rise in the calibre of opposition from recent racing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SUGAR ME - raced wide from the 1100 metres.
LECONTE - over-raced middle stages.
ROLLYOUROWN - raced wide early stages. Trainer G Payne advised the gelding has had a wind operation since last racing.

REFINE - lay inwards on the final bend contacting a track marker.
UNFAZED - weakened final bend. Driver D van Til reported a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
DREAMINSOVER - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
SENSE OF OCCASION - weakened leaving the final bend.
CAESAR'S QUEST - over-raced early and middle stages. Held up final bend by a weakening runner.
DOWN TO THE BONE - paced roughly rounding the final bend.
INVALUABLE - over-raced middle stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 4   SPECTATORS IS OPEN SUNDAYS! FILLIES & MARES HANDICAP TROT
SAMANTHAS MOON - broke after 150 metres losing considerable ground.
CALL THIS FUN - broke shortly after the start.
MAJESTIC UPSTART - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SUGARINSPICE - driver R Holmes was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
SUNDONS FLYER - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
BRIGHT GLOW - broke after 150 metres losing all chance.
MY MOMENT'S NOW - broke near the 150 metres and continued in a break to the finish. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA.
SIOUX PRINCESS - hung outwards throughout the back straight on the final occasion.
SALLY LINDENNY - when questioned regarding the improved performance the connections reported the mare had been slow away in recent starts resulting in the horse getting further back than anticipated, however tonight had made a good beginning and received an economical run throughout.
Race 5   MID-WINTER AT ADDINGTON FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
ENDLESS DREAMS - held up early stages of the run home.
ALLABOUT TIME - lay inwards in the home straight.
ARDEN'S DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Hung outwards near the 1100 metres and paced roughly.
SOUNDSOFCASH - paced roughly rounding the final bend. Held up over the concluding stages.
Race 6   HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN FAHEY HANDICAP PACE
SPOT ON - broke at the start.
ON THE BUZZER - broke near the 2000 metres losing ground.
MOGUL - over-raced middle stages.
KRUIZR - broke at the start losing ground.

COCHY MALC - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
ONE OVER ALL - lay inwards at various stages throughout.
NAVARA - held up for the majority of the run home. Driver J Ford was issued with a warning for striking the sulky wheel of ONE OVER ALL passing the 50 metres.

A GUINNESS DANCE - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly on the final bend.
SPORTSCAM - raced wide early stages. Lay inwards rounding the bends.
TOWN ECHO - held up throughout the run home. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable gear in consequence.
INVISIBLE GIRL - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 9   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
Starter R Donnelly was spoken to advisedly regarding the speed of the mobile gate after a number of horses were out of position at the start.
SAGINAW - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide from the 1200 metres.
AIMEE'S FIRST MEDDLE - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised he was disappointed with the performance and would be having blood tests taken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
KHAL DROGO - paced roughly passing the 1400 metres when improving forward.
DUFFY HOLLOW - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards final bend and throughout the run home.
ROCKNTOMMY RULZ - weakened final bend.
I'LL WRITE THE STORY - raced greenly in the score up. Driver C Thornley was warned for coming to the starting gate out of position. Hung inwards final bend losing ground.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 18 June that blood tests taken from AIMEE'S FIRST MEDDLE revealed no abnormalities with the filly continuing with her current preparation.
