Race 3 - HARRISON BLOY (JUNIOR DRIVERS) PACE
Junior driver A Cameron (TOMBELINA) assisted by M Purvis, admitted using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the early stages of the home straight and the JCA suspended her licence from the conclusion of racing on 3 June 2021 up to and including 13 June 2021 (3 days).

Race 1   GARRARDS AMATEUR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
UNO MIA - weakened approaching the 400 metres.
DREAMINSOVER - lay outwards in the final straight. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer B Negus advised the gelding had to race parked at its last start and had raced tractably in the lead tonight.
HONOUR BEFORE GLORY - when questioned regarding the performance trainer M Purvis advised he was disappointed with the effort and that the mare may not have backed up after racing on Sunday.
SENORITA MARGARITA - driver J Buckland-Stevens (assisted by B Negus) defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging she drove carelessly when shifting inwards racing into the first bend when not sufficiently clear of FRANCO HOFFMAN which was crowded and had to be restrained. After viewing the films and hearing evidence the JCA found the charge proved and Ms Buckland-Stevens was fined $250 and her licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 15 July 2021 (6 weeks). Ms Buckland-Stevens reported the mare had been striking her sulky footrests on various occasions during the running.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - briefly had to be restrained when placed in restricted room shortly after the start. Raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. When spoken to regarding the performance trainer D O'Connell advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - driver S Wigg was cautioned for the manner in which she shifted ground in the early stages which hampered FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ.
Had to be restrained racing into the first bend when crowded by an outside runner. Over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards through the final straight. Driver S Wigg was spoken to advisedly regarding using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
JENABELLA - held up final bend. Briefly held up late in the run home.
Race 2   COLIN STEELE MEMORIAL MOBILE TROT
ROSIE'S SON - broke shortly after the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TYENE - trotted roughly early stages.
AWAPUNI - when spoken to regarding the performance driver M Williamson reported the mare had received every opportunity and he was disappointed with the effort.
SUGARINSPICE - trotted roughly late in the score up and had to be steadied.
Race 3   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
SOUTHSHORE - paced roughly in the score up. Raced greenly in the early stages and hung outwards. Continued to race greenly through the middle stages when in the parked position and hung inwards.
SUGAR ME - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding to race with blinds which had not been notified.
Race 4   FAHEY FENCE HIRE TROT
YURI - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ONE TWO MENNY - over-raced middle stages. Trotted roughly under pressure through the final straight.
TAKE AFTER ME - broke near the 2100 metres and settled in a pace then was not able to be returned to a trot before losing its chance.
BELLA BUTTON - J Morrison was an authorised late driver change due to S Lethaby being unavailable.
MICHELLE - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Broke after 100 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SOUTH PARK - slow to begin. Hung outwards throughout causing driver K Newman some difficulty and was unable to make contact with the body of the field. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
Race 5   MID-WINTER AT ADDINGTON MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN SKIPPER - broke in the score up refusing to settle losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
CORFU BROMAC - driver M Edmonds had his licence suspended by the JCA from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 17 June 2021 (3 days) for using his whip free of the rein on several occasions in the home straight.
MARKHAM EYRE - hung inwards and paced roughly near the 900 metres. Hung inwards in the home straight and had to be corrected by its driver.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - slow to leave the pre-race circle before hanging outwards in the score up being out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 6   ICONIC KIWI ROAST AT SPECTATORS ON SUNDAY! TROT
THE TERRORIST - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 700 metres losing its chance.
KAHNTDOITALONE - late scratching at 1.05pm on Veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
BUTCHER KATE - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly when hanging inwards under pressure on the final bend and contacted several track markers.
BOSS KENNY - broke at the start losing its chance.
GIFT CARD - trainer R Todd was warned for being late to notify the gelding would be racing without half hopples. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
SEE IT THRU - driver K Hadfield will be spoken to regarding the manner he used his whip in the home straight.
BOURBON ON THE ROCKS - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Driver K Hadfield (SEE IT THRU) was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the middle stages of the run home.
Race 7   LAMB & HAYWARD MOBILE PACE
ARDEN'S REALITY - driver T Williams reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners in the home straight. Trainer G Payne was issued with a warning for failing to affix the gear so as not to malfunction.
JOHNNY MAC - when spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had over-raced in the middle stages. Trainer M House advised the horse had been unable to improve into the race from the rear of the field due to the fast closing sectionals and he was not disappointed with the effort after racing wide on the final bend.
Race 8   WOODLANDS HANDICAP TROT
THE BLOSS - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
COCHY MALC - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
RED HARBOUR - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CHIEF OF STAFF - trotted roughly in the home straight.
SIOUX PRINCESS - lay outwards throughout the run home.
WITH ICE - paced away before breaking briefly at the start. Trotted roughly at various stages throughout. Broke passing the 150 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Trainer B Butt advised Stewards on 13 June that WITH ICE has had its hocks injected since last racing.
Race 9   AVON CITY FORD MOBILE PACE
SPORTSCAM - broke passing the 400 metres checking trailing runners. Driver J Cox reported that the horse had taken fright after driver T Williams (RICK REILLY) had activated his removable gear causing it to break. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ALLABOUT TIME - broke for several strides in the early stages then paced roughly having to be steadied.
SKIDADDLE - badly checked on the final bend losing all chance.
RICK REILLY - weakened final bend.
MOSSDALE MAC - hampered by a breaking runner on the final bend and had to be shifted inwards.
BOSSMARO - badly checked on the final bend losing all chance. The undercheck came adrift from the horse's head during the middle stages and hung loose. This gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory condition.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
ELO LOUISE - driver K Cameron reported he was unable to release the mare's deafeners after the cord had broken. Mr Cameron was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein in the middle stages of the home straight.
AMERICAN OUTLAW - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to the rear of the field. Hung outwards leaving the final bend when leading after driver R May had activated the removable gear with the gelding shifting up the track.
JIMMY ARMA - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Newman. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
HITTHEROADJACK - held up early stages of the run home. Stewards questioned driver B Hope regarding the tactics he adopted near the 2000 metres when surrendering the lead to UNFAZED. Mr Hope explained that the gelding had commenced to over-race in the early stages and felt it was his best option to hand up to that runner and allow his horse to relax especially considering how well it performed at its last start. He added that he had been disadvantaged when shuffled further back than he had anticipated after two other runners then improved to lead leaving him poorly placed back on the marker line. His comments were accepted. Mr Hope (assisted by K Cameron) was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion on the final bend and in a continuous manner in the home straight. Mr Hope was also warned for anticipating a run in the home straight which briefly hampered an outside runner.
SAGINAW - briefly hampered in the home straight by an inside runner.
